It was so spacious, beautiful, clean. Was really close to the beach and shops. We had a big balcony with an excellent view. It had everything we needed (dishwasher, all cutlery, plates and glasses, washing mashine and a superb shower. The beds were really comfy and we loved the livingroom. It really felt like home.

We did not find anything wrong.

AC unit needs maintenance and is definitely underpowered to cool the whole apartment. Most of the windows are facing west and have no shutters whatsoever so the apartment tends to get very hot in the afternoon, so you might have trouble sleeping at night (AC unit is located in the living room so you can forget about it and the street is surprisingly busy even in the middle of the night, so keeping windows open is also not ideal) Bathroom window has no shutter or blinds. As it is at the same level as the adjacent street (steep terrain) with a parking lot just in front of it, you can expect some peeks of people passing by Kitchen utensils are provided but expect a bare minimum. To park you will need to climb a very high curb. We had to do this driving in reverse to avoid damaging the car`s front bottom. As the street is quite narrow there is not much room to maneuver. Definitely requires skill and practice to avoid damaging something. Although you should have a parking place reserved, it happened 2-3 times that all the parking places were occupied All staircases (both indoor and outdoor) have no railings, so if you are travelling with kids, be extra careful. There are quite some run-down things and bad DIY repairs. For example, the shower seems at first very sophisticated (massage jets, lights, radio), but is completely unfunctional (water comes only from the shower head, as in any other basic shower, none of the extra features work; the drain is smelly and slow; the shower door requires some effort to close etc.) and is installed ON WOODEN BRICKS (you read it correctly, unfortunately I did not take a photo). Bedroom door lockset I guess broke so they installed some DIY metal construction (using nails) to be able to keep the door shut - doesn´t work every time and is noisy and screechy as hell. We had a small kid with us so it was almost impossible to enter the room when she was sleeping without waking her up.

Owner was friendly, although it was a bit hard to communicate. The apartment was clean, and overall it was comfortable, except for the bathroom.

There are no power outlets on the kitchen counter, so the water boiler and microwave oven was not usable in the kitchen. The bathroom needs renovation, the water drainage was barely working, and the bathroom had a strong sewer smell. The shower cabin had broken parts, and was falling apart. No curtains on the bathroom window. These things are not that expensive to get fixed, but it should be done, as the bathroom in general is the weak spot of the apartment.

Great location, large spaces, sea view. Very clean in detail. TV and WIFI working properly. Washing machine. Quiet still close to the center. Very easy to find.

Landlord did not speak neither English nor German.
