Exceptional

A very pleasant place made with the love of the owner. The hotel is located in a small village and offers a relaxing holiday. Such thoughtful details of the location of the premises make it possible to get everything you need. There is a separate room with games, videos, tea/coffee and the opportunity to buy drinks/chips. There is an opportunity to eat on the beach by the sea or sit with a book with a water view. In the evening, charming lights turn on. Everyone passing by is taking pictures of the design of the house. The owner of the hotel Wee organizes a wonderful excursion to paradise island, where you can see turtles / sharks and a variety of fish. Scuba diving in this place is definitely a must see. I recommend this place for a relaxing holiday on the wonderful island of Tioman

Excellent!

X Rector is a very special little place! The rooms are immaculate and everything has been very well thought through. Wee is the best host you can ask for, he goes over and beyond to make your stay at Tioman Island perfect. He is also very knowledgeable and arranges amazing snorkel trips. And his mum is lovely and cooks a delicious dinner!

Immaculate small inn in an authentic setting and super friendly owner

The concept of this little inn is perfect and the owner was extremely helpful and a fantastic snorkel guide. He was full of great recommendations and the facilities were absolutely immaculate. Mr Wee and his parents were really welcoming and we enjoyed being part of an authentic village and a low key atmosphere. Perfect for us.

Cozy, Clean & Comfortable.

Overly exceeded my expectation. The room & toilet are spacious & extremely clean. The air-conditioned & cozy game/karaoke room is a total surprise. The deck next to the sea water is my fav place waiting for the day to dawn.

Kampong stay with best snorkelling trip

The accomodation is very neat, very clean and have very good game room with karoke. With only few rooms we are very well taken care by the host Mr. Wee. There is a common rest area facing the sea where we can enjoy our morning exercises and afternoon rest. I would highly recommend that if you want to have a feel of kampong living vs resort style, this is the place to stay. Mr. Wee is also certified free diver and we took up the snorkelling traiñing n trip with me which is the highlight of our stay. My wife who has overcome the fear of water through his training as he is very patience and my niece who is first time doing snorkelling is now hooked in this activity. He brought us to one of the best snorkelling site and we highly recommend the snorkelling training and trip with him.

Eating place is limited in the Genting village which may be due to fasting month however still manage to found two or three places to eat.

Small, tranquil hotel in a stunning beach location with world class snorkeling

My family loved staying at this small, friendly, ultra-clean hotel during our family snorkeling trip after COVID lockdown measures were relaxed in Malaysia. It is at a beautiful location on the beach with very nice common areas to relax with a book or hang out on in their playroom or on a swing. The snorkeling trip, run by the X Rector Minsu staff Mr. Liang was spectacular, the best I've done in my life, and we particularly appreciated that he was great with kids.

The most memorable Tioman trip

> The room was very clean > Staff was very welcoming and friendly > The snorkeling offered by this property is the best snorkeling and mind blowing and if u r going Tioman for snorkeling this is the place to go > If u r going to this place find for Mr Wee and Mr Ah Liang who are the two bosses of xrector literally this two person made the Tioman trip so memorable and exciting for me and my family

Magnificent treasure in the island

The host, liang n wee were very helpful n welcoming, warm hearted and care much for their guests.The rooms were very comfortable n super clean with all facilities that you need, felt like home n very eco friendly. The environment is child friendly and artistic. Not to forget their exclusive snorkelling package—excellent. Personally, I’ve never been comfortable being in the water but both of them really trained me to b confident and calm during the snorkelling training. The snorkelling trip was thrilling n satisfying. If you want to have a nice local food just go to the restaurant next to their hotel ( pink in colour).....the food is simple n delicious.
