We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as described other then the electric fireplace was out of order, which was disappointing for a romantic Valentines weekend for sure. But the hot tub was wonderful and we had a wonderful fire outside. Its a very comfortable cabin.

Very nice. The aerial photos led me to believe there were no neighbors, however there are other cabins in the area. All are far enough away to not be an issue. I highly value privacy and had no issues here. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Great towels :). I will say that I'm used to cabins have a good selection of games/movies. There were only 2 games (monopoly and yahtzee) but we had brought our own. We also cast from our phone to the TV so no issue there. I did see the TV had local channels but we didn't use it much so didn't explore further. Kitchen was well appointed.

Nice cabin in Logan. Very convenient location and very spacious cabin. Place was very clean. If I had to make a complaint my only one would be to upgrade the shower head to a handheld. Other than that the place is amazing

This beautiful property is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Hocking Hills State Park has to offer, while providing the seclusion and serenity to let us relax and unwind. We fell in love with the property 3 1/2 y/o and found it to be just as idyllic today. It was āMeant to beeā for us!

We've stayed here twice now and will likely be back again. This is a beautiful, well appointed property in a great setting. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful to our needs. Love the fire pit, the hot tub, the wrap around porch.

Very clean cozy cabin with lots of privacy. Perfect place to stay while enjoying all the hiking hills area has to offer. Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

I have been coming to Hocking annually for about 20 years. This is the best cabin so far! It was so clean, private, and had everything you needed! This will be my go to for now on! I loved it so much and hated to leave ā¤ļø

Place was fantastic for our family of four. Not difficult to find and close to all the activities we wanted for my sons birthday. Great outdoor space and fire pit. We will be booking again in the future.

While I wish it could have been a little more secluded to prevent hearing neighbors playing music it was a wonderful getaway. Being so close to everything Hocking Hills and the Trails have to offer was amazing as we were able to hike bright and early. Lovely place and we hope to stay again one day.

My wife and I had been separated for 7 mos after being married 40 yrs. We were working on getting back together and booked this Cabin to see if we should and we are. Hocking Hills was amazing and this cabin was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Secluded enough to feel out in the woods but a short drive to everything. My wife and I Thank you very much for a great stay

The cabin was impeccably clean. It was even nicer in person than the pictures depicted it. We had everything we needed and more. It was relaxing and everything we were looking for. The owners were responsive and I was very well informed. The cabin is not far from area restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be using Scarlet Oak Retreats in the future!

My only complaint is that the hot tub was still cold when we got there..we only stayed 2 nights which kind of put a damper on our first night not being able to enjoy that after driving for hours and wanting to relax ..a hot tub is our favorite amenity at a cabin stay. And it was 10 at night before it reached its temp. Jets are not very strong and getting the cover off and on was very inconvenient . There is no room to get on both sides to pull it back on and impossible to get behind it unless you are a smaller person. the lift does not work properly. It's located on the front deck steps from the door but it would b great if it were placed on the back deck. Over looking the fire pit and woods. With much more room and seclusion ..the fire pit is at the bottom of a long set of steps oyt back but very nice. But we never used it because we were out front in the hot tub and wouldnt have been able to enjoy watching it burn while relaxing . the party coming in after us had a greeting card on the table so it's clear no one took the time to welcome us and probably just stopped in at the last minute to turn on hot tub..the price was right but not when u can't use the amenities the entire first day. Location is awesome fireplace was gorgeous and cabin is stocked with nice linens, comfy beds and everything you need to cook and never leave during your stay if that what you choose ..just a few changes on the outside layout of things would make this place a perfect 10.

The property was really nice. The only complaint is that the internet was spotty at best and there was no Roku or smart tv. Investing in a Roku (which are only $30-$40) would taken this rating from 4 to 5 stars.

Everything was perfect; exactly as pictured. The cabin is beautiful, very clean , and close to the main parks. The cabin is very easy to access, and communication with the owner was seamless.

Reserved this cabin for a bachelor party for a buddy of mine and we had a blast here. Very spacious and comfortable, with room for air mattresses if you prefer not to share beds. Hot tub is great, right on the porch. The cabin is also at the end of a cul de sac and is nicely tucked away in the trees so itās nice and quiet and isolated from other people.

We loved this house! Great location, between state parks and the town of Logan. Clean and Pleasant, nice hot tub
Pros: clean cabin, nice quiet, private location, great hot tub, nice setup outside for firepit and cute looking inside. Satellite, good tv, comfortable furniture and beds. We got 3-4 inches of snow and the old county roads we were on were plowed right away . We enjoyed ourselves and would rent this cabin again.
Cons: Thermostat was set at 56 degrees when we got there, it took several hours to warm up. Please buy a new can opener for cabin, the one there did not work and was stripped out. One thing I did not like was AFTER I paid the deposit I was given a list of items that we were responsible for cleaning up. Cleaning out fireplace, stripping beds, cleaning grill, etc. With the prices as high as they are to rent this place that should have been included and when I am on vacation I don't want to clean.
Overall it was a cute, clean cabin for a weekend getaway.

The property was beautiful, clean, and just as described. It was centrally-located and near both trails we wanted to hike. The only problems we encountered were the hot tub was only functional for half of our visit and a snow storm blew through and we had to dig ourselves out of the driveway to get home.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was clean, spacious and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking. The location was close to all the trails, and very close to a fun coffee shop. There was firewood easily available to purchase all along the route to the cabin as well. We would definitely recommend renting !

We have a family of four, including a 5 & 7 year old. We had a great time! They had everything we needed and were very easy to contact! They made our first getaway, a stress free one! Would recommend a tv in the private bedroom! But other than that everything was great even down to the bee theme !
