I thought the unit was very clean and comfortable, perhaps say a single armchair away from the television would be nice a loe bench to hold case or bag would be helpful. The bed was excellent was warm and cosy, Perhaps a location sign at front would help. The gravel road in and use as cattle run detracts. Overall considered excellent value would stay there again when travelling to the Stanley - Smithton area. The addition of a second bedroom may increase the accommodation demand. best wishes Terry

Friendly welcome. Good value. Easy to find. Close to Stanley. Quiet at night.
In the middle of working cattle farms so there was a country smell to it.
Expect early morning farm traffic.

Lovely little spot if you don’t mind a 10min drive into Stanley. Very peaceful with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Deb was lovely and a wonderful host. Very reasonably priced.

What was not to like.. the location, the quiet, the bed was soooo comfy I overslept my alarm. The unit was lovely, clean and homely. Deb was a wonderful host. Would stay here again. Only a few minutes from stanley and well worth the stay.

We were greeted by a carefully prepared welcoming pillow - "Hi Richard". This is a really nice property, quiet and secluded but handy for Stanley.
No Internet, although owners allowed us to piggyback on their connection (Thank you).

the location was good for us a little out of Stanly away from the madding crowds in a bucolic setting. The accommodation was 5 star and Deb the owner very helpful with information about the area and the working dairy farm

It was very nice location, bed was super comfy. Great host and everything you could ask for to make your stay great was there
Not that we didn't like anything about the stay but to make it better I believe a privacy screen so you wasn't looking into main house would have been great.

I have stayed at Sleepy Hollow Hideout previously and enjoyed the rural location of the accommodation. A good-sized room where I could self-cater with a very comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. The rooms are convenient to Stanley and the Smithton area where I was working for several days. A friendly greeting from Deb was appreciated, and there are great views of the Nut at Stanley from the room.
The room does not have wi-fi, so that could be an improvement, and would have been especially convenient. However, good mobile coverage in the area meant I was able to hot-spot in my phone and undertake some actions via that.

it is very close to large scale dairy/potato farm which didn’t worry us as we are farmers but say upset others
