Nestled in North Eleuthera, this attractive house for $1,028 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Set on cliff top land, Neptune Cove's waterfront estate is like nothing you have seen before. With 400ft of private Caribbean frontage, the property is 40 feet above the crystal waters, providing breathtaking sea views and facing west for the majestic sunsets, enjoyed from every part of the property. Sunrises over the sea are also visible during the winter months! Neptune Cove is less than a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) from beautiful and pristine Rainbow Bay Beach. Famous for its calm, turquoise waters, Rainbow Beach also has good snorkeling. Neptune Cove's covered wrap-around veranda offers shaded outdoor living, including a picturesque gazebo, a perfect setting for relaxing with a good book or to gather for sunset cocktails. This area is furnished with sofas, chairs, and tables so you can enjoy the sweeping Caribbean views and gentle sea breezes however you choose to relax. Steps away from the main and guest houses is our oceanview infinity pool. Relax on lounge chairs on the pool deck or on the bar stools in the pool. For those who choose to swim in the calm Caribbean waters at the base of the cliff, walk down a short fountain path to a natural alcove in the island’s limestone geological formation. It is here that you will find access into the clear waters of the Caribbean, both in and out of the sea via a short ladder. You will be truly amazed at the variety of fish you will see just snorkeling around the coral which is plentiful and healthy in this part of the Caribbean. In 20 minutes in the water recently, I saw queen angel fish, four-eyed butterfly fish, blue tangs, yellow tangs, spade fish, parrot fish, porkfish, various species of grouper and snapper, and many more. After the sun sets, gather around the fire pit, furnished with Adirondack chairs, and just cherish the view and topography of the land and sea as the unique natural wonders they are. On a clear night, this is also an excellent spot for watching the firmament and falling stars! Neptune Cove is located in the community known as Rainbow Bay. Our guests are permitted to use the convenient waterfront tennis court just a few minutes walk away. The excellent food and drink and nightlife of the Sunset Cove (formerly known as the Rainbow Inn) is also just a 5 minute walk away. Grocery stores and liquor stores are a short drive. Amenities include high-speed internet with WIFI, AC throughout, private pool, and a gas grill. The Main House The main house at Neptune Cove was designed for entertaining. It is a large open-concept design featuring a full luxury kitchen with an oversized island with 4 bar stools, GE Profile appliances, and elegant quartz countertops. This is a true chef’s kitchen with every imaginable appliance and utensil, extensive kitchenware, and high end china. The main house open living room seats 12 people with cathedral ceilings and magnificent ocean views. The dining room seats 12 comfortably (plus 4 more on the adjacent kitchen island) and also has beautiful ocean views. There is a powder room off this living area as well. The main house has two master bedroom suites with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers, and plenty of clothes storage. Each bedroom has a 32” TV. There is a 50” TV in the great room. The Guest House The guest house consists of two separate efficiency suites, each with king-size bed, a queen-size sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave and toaster, coffee maker and 32” TV. Each suite has a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of closet space. Each of the suites sleeps two each very comfortably and can sleep an additional two guests on the queen-size sofa bed. The Gazebo Suite (additional charge applies): This private suite beneath the gazebo has a king-size bed and a large ocean-view living area with a sofa bed. It has a full en-suite bath with a small walk-in shower. It can be added to the reservation for $100 per night.

Perfect for our needs. 3 families with 6 adults 4 18-25 year olds and 2 children 2 & 4. Everyone had plenty of space and plenty of beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was quick to address any issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Neptune Cove is a special property on a beautiful setting. To find a house on an out island that is this well appointed and cared for is hard. If you have stayed on many islands you know what I mean. The grounds and pool were kept manicured while we were there. The inside of the house was clean, quiet and comfortable. Well stocked. You can hang here, go 3 mins to the beach, 10 minutes to a beach bar, or 40 mins to Harbor Island or Spanish Wells. The grotto was awesome and good snorkeling right there --we even saw a melon sized octopus immediately off the ladder, as it morphed to look like a coral head. Responsive managers and smiling friendly local help.

I can't say enough about how wonderful of a time my family had staying at this property. It really has it all. It's beautiful, spacious, everyone had their own space. We loved the pool and swimming in the Caribbean. We snorkeled and caught fish right off the patio by the fire pit, which we enjoyed at night. We can't wait to return!

The house was great and it lacked nothing. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms made for an easy stay. Waking up to the spectacular views along with having dinner watching an amazing sunset made for a very memorable vacation. The caretakers were extremely helpful along with the booking agents. Smooth transaction. The only complaint would be that the gazebo bedroom needs to be revamped. There was a fairly strong smell of mold which should be remedied. If you don’t plan on using the gazebo bedroom then you have nothing to worry about.

Beautiful property with incredible view. The bedroom under the gazebo had a very bad odor and we were not able to use this room for our family of 12. The property has some maintenance issues.
There was always a perfect breeze and we enjoyed seeing the sea turtles daily.

Relatively secluded and a bit of a drive to nearest town so we hired a chef service for many meals. Not walkable to Rainbow bay but a quick drive away. Nice to have so many beach chairs an and floats.
Negatives: Pool was NOT heated so was unusable. Dishwasher and Laundry machines were inconsistent/didn't always work. Things could have been a bit cleaner such as pantry, silverware and outdoor bar area had not seen a broom, clorox wipe or dustpan in a while. Strange smell in the lower gazebo room, with "odor tins" spread around (main house also) attempting to cover up smells.
We have owned and understand that ocean front properties take a beating and that supplies/equipment maintenance on the island is hard to come by, but things were a bit tired.
Plenty of beach towels, bed linens, and a water jug that we had to refill ourselves.
Sunsets and starry skies were magical. Turtles visited on our last day. Playing in the water off the cliff was a treat.

Couldn’t ask for a better property for our family vacation to Eleuthera. Snorkel and swim right off the back landing. Everyday ended with an adult beverage on the veranda overlooking the ocean. Close to Governor’s Harbour for shops and restaurants but don’t sleep on Delish just south of house. Some of the best food on the island. For beaches, we went to Ten Bay, Twin Cove, Cocodimama, French Leave and Rainbow beach. They are all great but the best beach is Rainbow and that happens to be the closest. Rainbow is about a mile away and you can see the beach from the house. When you think of a Caribbean beach, this is it. Crystal clear blue water with perfect sand. Snorkeling is best along the rocks on the north side going toward home. We will be back!!

If you are looking for a property that checks all the boxes, then look no further. The property was clean, well stocked, maintained, and the owner and care takers were fantastic. We were looking for a quiet, private, spacious, property where 3 to 4 couples could stretch out and take in all that Eleuthera has to offer. A couple property must were, a pool, access to water, A/C, generator, en suite bathrooms, centrally located, and a view. This property had all of the above and then some. The view is one of the best on the island. The snorkeling out back is world class. The grotto/fire pit with wood provided was just a bonus. We have visited Eleuthera several times and this was the most comfortable property we have stayed in. The pictures do not do this property justice. We struggled to leave the property every day and could not wait to return for a sunset every evening. We can not wait to return to Neptunes Cove. Thank you for sharing this amazing property!

The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and spices. The property, especially the cove in the cliffs with access to the ocean, is stunning. We enjoyed walking around the property every morning, as well as fishing and swimming from the cove. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. The house is very close to Rainbow Bay Beach, the Rainbow Room Restaurant, and Big Rock Grocery Store.
Sarah checked in with me a few days before coming to ensure we had all of the information we needed to check in. She also communicated with us via text when we arrived. The caretakers, Brenda and Billy, met us there and were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for big families and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Laid back get-a-way
Our first time to the Bahamas at all and Eleuthera was more of what we were looking for. Quiet relaxation. The beaches are great and the locals are very friendly.
Our stay in this beautiful home was very relaxing. We felt this was the perfect spot for out group of 9. Plenty of space and all the features you could ask for. Pool was great. The cliff side "patio" area was great to enjoy a fire and at night watch the shrimp as they glowed in the water. Turtles just off shore in the water were common. Cliff diving was fun.
The house had plenty of room for us all to hang out together at night. All in all a great experience.
The one thing about Eleuthera is it is rural. No big hotels, restaurants or Walmart. Small grocery stores and gift shops. The island is 110 miles long so a trip nort or south takes time. There are many good local restaurants up and down the island. Rainbow beach was great. French leap was great as was the pink sand beach up on harbor island. The atlantic side is typically rougher than the "Caribean" side.

Unfortunately, the ladder into the water was missing a “cap” and we could not put it all the way in the “down” position. So, getting into & out of the water was tricky (we brought our own paddle boards)
We opted for the boat dock by the tennis courts, or Rainbow beach. Which we had to load our rental cars with our gear, which wasn’t a huge deal, but would have been nice not to have to do! The house had beach chairs, and we took them with us everywhere! Screened porches were great for the evening when no see-ums were out. Had a few issues with A/C, fridge & hot water not working, but the caretakers were quick to respond. Fridge never really got fixed- but A/C & hot water did. TV’s didn’t work in the guest house, but in the main house we were able to watch. Not that you need a TV I’m the Bahamas, but some of our group likes to watch in the am/pm.

While the kitchen had a good supply of normal things, many were not in good repair (handles loose, etc.) and some things were missing like a cookie sheet, pizza pan, good can opener, and muffin pan. Frying pans, for example, had not been well maintained and needed to be cleaned prior to use. Some utensils in drawers needed to be cleaned prior to use as they were greasy and had food remnants on them. The dishwasher and the clothes washer were both a bit sketchy in operation. The Internet service is very suspect....might work for several minutes then seemed to be disconnected for 5 - 10 minutes. Little annoyances here and there. Another example... While there was a horseshoe pit, there was only one competition horseshoe and one "real" horse shoe so the pit was not really useful. Considering the price we paid for the week, the "little" annoyances seemed more annoying! The sea water was pristine at the property and we were able to swim and snorkel. Sunsets from open Gazebo were awesome to watch. Plenty of outdoor seating around the pool, in the gazebo, by the water, in the veranda, and in the lawn. Guests could space themselves and do their own thing... sunning, reading, napping, etc. etc. The weather for our week was spectacular. Watch out for the "no-see-ums" or you will be itching all week! Take repellent.

Neptune Cove was a nice landing spot for our large family gathering of 12 over the Christmas holiday. The views were unmatched, plenty of outdoor seating areas and lounge chairs. Relatively secluded and a bit of a drive to nearest town so we hired a chef service for many meals. Not walkable to Rainbow bay but a quick drive away. Nice to have so many beach chairs an and floats.Negatives: Pool was NOT heated so was unusable. Dishwasher and Laundry machines were inconsistent/didn't always work. Things could have been a bit cleaner such as pantry, silverware and outdoor bar area had not seen a broom, clorox wipe or dustpan in a while. Strange smell in the lower gazebo room, with "odor tins" spread around (main house also) attempting to cover up smells. We have owned and understand that ocean front properties take a beating and that supplies/equipment maintenance on the island is hard to come by, but things were a bit tired. Plenty of beach towels, bed linens, and a water jug that we had to refill ourselves. Sunsets and starry skies were magical. Turtles visited on our last day. Playing in the water off the cliff was a treat.
