I had a lovely stay in the female dormitory. The view from the hostel is amazing and it's a quiet place.

La vue sur le lac, lits confortables, propreté des espaces communs
Salle de bain commune très petite : 2 douches et 1 lavabo pour tous les dortoirs
La réservation n'avait pas été prise en compte mais heureusement il restait de la place (inter-saison)

Friendly staff/reception
The bedding smelt very bad. The light from the hallway was shining through the window in my bedroom door the entire night and could hardly sleep. The room was tidy but the bed didn’t feel clean at all. The sheets looked clean (bleached white) but smelt very bad of body odour and mould.

Location is really good because it’s close to the city centre. View from hostel is also pretty.
Kitchen facilities are very old, fridge was set on uneven surface and almost fell down on my friend when she was putting food into it.
There are no keys to the room! To open front door we needed to use a code which was not working. We had to use back kitchen door.
FYI Parking is available only for motel guests, if you are staying in backpacking hostel you must park on the street (it’s really difficult to find spot)

Ubicación y precio inmejorable.
Personal amable.
Buenos espacios compartidos.

The view was nice and close to town. One member of staff was friendly but the rest were very rude and unhelpful.
No storage in the rooms, 1 power outlet in the wall for 8 people in a room to share. People were using their bedsheets as towels as they don’t provide/ sell them to guests. Beds don’t get made before arrival and you’re expected to strip them off before departure. Shower didn’t look like it has been cleaned for a very long time. Would not recommend staying here unless it was a last last last resort.

Facilities were fine, location not bad
Why does the private room door have a huge window in it? All the light from the corridor shines through the glass and ruins the chance of a good night's sleep.

I liked having a roof over my head
The fact that there was no lock on the front door, a stranger was asleep in my bed on the 2nd night who wasn't even from the hostel. There is no lock on the door for the room. The beds were uncomfortable, and most plug sockets in the hostel didn't work. When the front door finally had a code, they did not inform me, so I was locked out after a long shift at work. Then the code on the door was disabled for two days leaving the hostel open to anyone once again, the staff took my number to call me with the code and didn't, so I had to get it off them, then they called me about letters that had arrived for a completely different guest who does not have a remotely similar name to my own. The facilities are poor and even though the heating is always on, you can tell the finishings on the windows etc are poor quality as the building is cold.
For somewhere charging $80 for a night, this place is probably the worst example in Queenstown for price gouging. Not because it's the most expensive out there (it isn't) but because you get the worst value for money I have ever witnessed. Staff were unapologetic and genuinely a bit rude when called out on these things. My suggestion to them, instead of getting defensive about your mistakes and terrible service, you can offer disgruntled guests something instead of feeling entitled to other people's hard earned money for utterly crap service. You can keep the $80 as me paying you to not stay in your dreadful hostel, I have never been more happy to leave somewhere and I am including an abusive household I once had to live in for over a year.

The view and how close it is to the town.
It was one of the most disgusting hostels I've ever stayed in.
The bathroom/toilet is tiny and not clean at all.
Toilets were most of the time not going well.
Kitchen was disgusting and a lot of stuff is just broken.
The room and the smell of the hostel wasn't great either.
You don't even have locks in the building!!! Not on the front door and not in your room. So your luggage/stuff is not safe.
Would not recommend it at all. I know it's expensive in Queenstown but they're just taking advantage of it. You still pay a lot for nothing.

Location is great; bed sheets were provided , shower works.
Service poor. no room key, no entrance key, no storage, exte small rooms, no place to store staff if everyone has a backpack. Only 1 electric outlet in room for charging. Fridge not clean. You can hear everything.

I really liked that there is a washer on site and they offer an all ladies room. The bed I slept in was incredibly comfy. The location is a nice walk to the center of young life night fun. The kitchen is a comfortable size and the view is really awesome. The property manager was beyond helpful. I would return based on the staff.
The rooms are quite small so make sure to store your bags under the beds, bed frames are out of date with terrible squeaking in the middle of the night and the showers are also very small and had a flooding problem. This was what I expected with the price range and being a co-ed hostel.

Checking time on booking.com says 3 pm but when i arrived there they said 4'0 clock and then i had to wait for an hour. Moreover,Staff was still doing cleaning in the evening when i checked in again at 4 pm

Admin is frankly terrible, booked 7 girls in a 6 girl dorm and asked the 6th and 7thy girl to sleep in the same bed.. male admin walks into the dorm while we are sleeping, also blaming me for the double booking instead of sorting it out with booking.com. Mold in the shared bathroom windowsill and the beds and mattresses is also of questionable quality. Works for one night.

Great view of the lake. Quite a nice backyard patio/garden. Extremely quick wifi, if you need to download something, this is your place!
I don't think this is even a hostel, more like a shabby apartment that someone is trying to sell as a hostel. Tiny rooms that don't even lock, the front door and the room doors are open 24/7, you don't get any key. Of course, no lockers. There is a female dorm but the bathroom is shared for both genders since there is only one bathroom (one sink, two toilets, and two showers). The mould on the bathroom ceiling grows really nicely! My bunk bed was shaking so much that I believed it was falling apart. You don't get much privacy, the room door is open most of the time. Nevertheless, I slept quite well.

The worst hostel I've ever been to. Don't go there, even if it's the only option.
Unfriendly staff
There was no toilet paper - told the cleaning person, and still there was no toilet paper the next day.
The room was disgustingly dirty when I arrived and no-one bothered to even clean it for the three nights I spend there.
The bins were overflowing to an extend that waste was just spilling out and lying around in the kitchen.
No keys for the room or the entrance of the hostles, so basically everyone could walk in and out as they pleased. No lockers to keep your stuff safe either.
The rooms are super small - when there are 6 people in there with luggage, one can barely move around. Mattresses are uncomfortable and beds are super noisy whenever you move.
And all that you get for a ridiculously high price.
Essentially, don't go there.
