La ubicación

Ubicado en un barrio marginal, daba miedo ir por esas calles. Calles malolientes, barrio magrebí y personas que parecían indigentes. Muy incómodo ir por esas calles para acceder al centro, no sabías si sonreír o saludar porque daba miedo y se nota que no eres de la zona. No recomendable tanto si vas con niños como si no. Es un bajo reformado, pequeño. La luz del baño se encendía sola de forma intermitente y por la noche hacia que fuera difícil dormir al ver que se iba encendiendo y apagando una luz sin haber nadie más en el apartamento. Parking de muy difícil acceso por lo estrecha que era la calle, no pude entrar el coche (coche familiar) porque no había margen de maniobra la calle. El piso está medio derruido por la parte trasera. Casa rehabilitada lo poco que sigue en pie. Cama de matrimonio muy dada, dos personas de peso 60-70 kg y te vencias al centro de la cama. Nada recomendable.

Apartamento agradable

El apartamento estaba reformado y era agradable. Tenía todo lo necesario para una noche. El garaje en la misma propiedad es una gran ventaja. El trato de la anfitriona fue muy amable y la atención recibida muy buena.

La zona donde está situado el apartamento es muy céntrica pero tal y como se indica en otros comentarios, no es una zona muy segura.

The worst Booking experience yet

The information shared by the host misrepresents and is misleading to guests. We chose the property because besides visiting the city we wanted to use the washing machine advertised in the description. It turned out that the washing machine did not work (it took water but the drum did not turn). As a result we ended up with a pile of wet and dirty laundry that had to be washed by hand. The apartment is in a desperate need of renovation: there is mildew in the walls, the shower leaks and there is an omnipresent stench of sewage, the floor paneling is falling apart, the property was dirty when we arrived. The apartment is located in a dilapidated part of the city and one of the neighbouring buildings occupied by squatters who were using the street as a toilet and fighting until 2 am... we fell unsafe to leave the apartment with our children in the evening. As a result we barely slept and were exhausted the next day. Avoid booking and staying at this property!

Exceptional communication with the owner . Location was great , tidy and clean .

It’s tricky to park and to access the property with a big car . The shower had a funny smell.

Pleasant except the gaining access and leaving.

A pain to get into. Very complicated with codes and trying to find where doors were. We didn’t know which car park to use and accidentally used another permanent residents. Also the pillows were lumpy. Booking. Com should have added that you had to take the sheets and pillowcases off even though you pay for cleaning.

Very nice and convenient.

They had gone to a lot of trouble to make it pretty and comfortable. The bed was perfectly comfortable.

A bit smoky. They had also forgotten a few basics. No kettle, saucepan or women's sanitary bags/bin.

lovely

Great location in the old part of Beziers. We stayed overnight on our way back to the UK from Spain, great little stop over. Our daughters loved the luxury of having Wi-Fi after over 2 weeks with no internet. Clean apartment and secure parking. Prefect for what we needed. beds were comfortable and apartment clean. the added touch of a private courtyard was lovely, although we enjoyed watching Netflix instead. sofa bed extremely comfy! Streets are VERY narrow, not something we were used to but we managed fine. I would recommend arriving while it’s still light unless you are extremely confident in reverse parking in a very, very narrow street. But all in all a lovely little flat in a beautiful location.

Could do with thicker pillows, but this is personal preference.

Great location, facilities could be improved.

Location of the apartment is amazing! only a short walk to the centre. Having the parking was also very helpful. Although if you have a big car it can be a bit tricky to get in, but the streets are narrow and that’s why. Hosts are very quick to respond to any questions and are very helpful.

There was strong smell of cat urine in the apartment. After reading through the previous reviews I did read that if you leave windows open cats will come in? so I’m assuming that’s where the smell has come from. It was hard to sleep with the smell. The shower design is also poor, which means that water leaks everywhere when showering. Only one fan in the apartment, if your using both rooms it isn’t good as it was very hot. The wifi code is supplied with a QR code, which we couldn’t get because there is no 3G/4g in the apartment, so this was very annoying. Maybe just leaving the password would better idea.

Disappointing

The given instructions how to reach the keys was ok

The arrangement of the appartement is not fit for family at all, the security is reduced. If you open the windows cats will walk in easy , if you closed you die in the heat, there is only 1 fan for one room the other piece had to suffer, , the clean is not professional at all, it is an old house , the douch is another disaster ..... The fun part they want you to make the beds before leaving , arent they suppose to change the bed sheet?

Very nice location

Good parking place in the centre of the city. Nice TV and comfortable dining place. Smart check-in and key pick-up. Smart idea for information about the apartment (using QR code scanner), though before using wifi I had to download QR scanner and it was a little bit tricky due to limited data transfer.

Limited kitchen equipment - particularly no kettle for boiling water and preparing tea. Not so nice bathroom, easy flooding from a very small shower. Bad light in bedroom.

The worst apartment by far we have stayed in during 3 months of travelling.

The kitchen was ok. But generally this has a very poor quality of fixtures. It has not been fitted or decorated well. The bedroom is hot and looks out onto a derelict barn. No A/C and no fan. The linen is worn and old. The shower is terrible - the worst we have ever had. The cubicle is cramped and the floor floods. Temperature is difficult to regulate. It smells damp.

Everything looked old, tatty and used. Cheaply converted apartment in a dirty back street full of tatty furniture and clutter. Old sofa with a grubby blanket thrown over to cover it. Furnishings are very poor. The fridge is frozen up and missing the door to the freezer compartment. The shower area was appalling. It looked awful , fitted by an amateur and it flooded the floor because it was fitted so poorly. The screen didn’t seal, the base had perished. Sloping ceiling difficult too. This was not worth the money and we could not wait to leave.

The worst experienceTerrible

Hot water

Front door had been kicked in Internet did not work. No microwave..no breakfast bedroom heater a danger must be repaired shower falling of the wall whole place stinks mattress stinks We booked and payed for two nights we stayed for one will be contacting booking con for a refund. Never again just to add please be careful with the electrics as very dangerous esp for children or old people i have read the response from the owner and the lies the heater in the bedroom is dangerous does not work there was no breakfast and many other things at the moment i am taking legal aktion

Bijoux in Béziers

We had two lovely nights in this sweet apartment. The location is amazing - right in the heart of the old city and within walking distance to everything - super close to the markets and the beautiful cathedral (we climbed the hundreds of steps to enjoy the spectacular views). Quiet, comfortable, and great value. Wish we could have stayed longer in Béziers.

The bathroom is a little basic, but was fine.

Kept hitting shins on bars at end of bed. Kept flooding bathroom due to shower curtain not keeping water in. No oven.not convinced microwave was working.

Great location. Nice restaurants closeby. It is located old part of Bezier. Narrow streets.

Just a small remark. If you have a big car (Size SUV) it is difficult to enter the garage. It takes several steering alignment. This is because of the narrow streets.. The garage is big enough and also good for a big car. Safe parking behind closed doors.

Friendly hosts, and a lovely basket, waiting for us on arrival...the flat was clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in on this trip...

Good value for money.

The welcome present of the owner was a basket with buns, cookies, cake, butter, jam, cacao, milk and orange juice. The garage was a perfect hide out for our big car. The beds were very confortable, the place is quiet, Wi-Fi works (though you need internet to get the code, QR-code is provided).

The shower in the bathroom was very small and the tub in the kitchen is leeking.

We paid only 27 Euros/night for 2 persons. Apartment warm, enough hot water, everything clean. But be aware that it is up the hill, on very narrow medieval streets. Even with a small car is awful to come to destination.

Great accommodation in Béziers!!!

Nice and cozy home!! With amazing localization!! Very clean with all that is needed!! Space for car!

The street is very narrow, is kind of difficult to get with a big car, but you just need to be careful! But that’s was expected for a medieval city!! Not a big deal at all, the experience was still amazing!

Everything was good. Apartments near city center, fully consistent with the description on the site. Very simple and easy check-in. Good private parking. I would recommend it.

It would be helpful if you leave instructions how to use Wi-Fi somewhere inside. Shower is a little bit uncomfortable since water is always on the floor.
