Nestled in Fort Payne, this attractive cabin for $340 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This authentic log cabin was recently remodeled. It is located only a couple of miles from DeSoto State Park, nestled in the woods on a quiet country road. Prepare to relax, unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle. This cabin is Non-Smoking and Pet Free. Cook an entire meal with a fully equipped kitchen or dine in one of the excellent locally-owned restaurants. It has a natural slate tiled shower with rain shower head and handheld sprayer. This cabin has a loft with a queen size bed, as well as a pullout couch with queen bed for additional sleeping in the living room. Sip coffee or tea while relaxing on the glider-rocker located on the private back porch, which overlooks a peaceful forest. Birds, chipmunks, and deer are often seen in the area. Cozy up next to a fire in the fire pit and admire the stars. Finish your day off with a relaxing soak in the hot tub (by the way, the hot tub is emptied and cleaned and filled with fresh water after each guest). Enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and exploring in nearby Historic Mentone, DeSoto State Park, DeSoto Falls, and Little River Canyon. Take in a round of golf at Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort or go horseback riding through the trails in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. This area has so much to offer. It is truly a hidden gem. All that is missing is you!!

The cabin was a beautiful “tiny house” that was very comfortable and cozy for our winter getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed the compactness of the home. The hot tub was fantastic and clean, and we loved that it was housed in its own little house! Definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful time at this cabin! Nathan is an incredible host. The cabin had everything you could ever need and more. The decorations inside were beautiful too! Mentone, AL was just a fun little town to explore and Wildflower Cafe offered some incredibly delicious food. This trip was a dream! I highly suggest renting this cabin.

The cabin was so cute and perfect for a little weekend away from the hustle and bustle. They had every little detail taken care of- robes for the hottub, great fans in the bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, the radio in the living room. My husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and played cards all night. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

Loblolly cabin has everything you need to unwind and enjoy beautiful surroundings. The cabin is very well maintained and comfortably equipped. The sauna is in a beautiful gazebo, both private and super relaxing. Perfect after a day of hiking and sightseeing. We will definitely be back.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The inside is very relaxing and cozy. It felt like a home away from home. This cabin was such a needed break after living in a busy city. We were able to put our feet up and enjoy the quit space around us!

We stayed the weekend in this cabin for our Anniversary and it was the perfect get away. The Hot tub and fire pit gave us a relaxing and enjoyable time. The cabin is super cute and clean.

Great little cabin. Everything from the setting to decor. Absolutely perfect! Get up early and watch the wildlife, the raccoon and the deer are like clockwork. Great appliances, great water pressure. Great communication with host on any subject. And by all means check out Elevation Bistro and Mad Hatter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we pulled into the drive, we fell in love with the tranquil setting. The cabin itself was perfectly cozy, clean, and furnished with every modern amenity you’d need away from home. It was the best spot for us to sneak away and unwind. We loved their attention to details. We enjoyed the hot tub and it’s beautiful setting, tucked in the woods while the fire flies twinkled all around us right after sunset. I highly recommend staying here. The owners shared such helpful advise on where we could go & what there was to see! We hope to be back soon, perhaps in the Autumn to see the beautiful colors.

The cabin was built beautifully and has the perfect blend of traditional and comfortable. Lots of wildlife to view like bears, deer, turkeys and birds. My wife and I loved spending our anniversary here. The nearby restaurants and nature were great for getting outside.

We had the most relaxing first anniversary trip at this cute & cozy cabin! It’s a short trip from the cabin to all the places you’d want to sight see. The host gave us great recommendations & the cabin itself is clean & has so much detail to make it homey. We loved it!

Great little spot for privacy and enjoy quiet and one on one with spouse. It was the best everything is so cozy and very stocked with kitchen items needed close to all things. Only thing ma7be add hooks near the hot tub to hang towels on but other than that wonderful!

Perfect place to relax! Hubby and I enjoyed the weekend at this little cabin celebrating our anniversary. It was clean and had kitchen was well furnished. The bed super comfortable and hot tub was a plus. Check in was easy and owner communicated well. Would def rent again!

It’s a truly beautiful cabin in the perfect location for DeSoto, Mentone, Fort Payne activities. There are neighbors but they aren’t too close. Very quiet place with a rustic vibe. We were greeted by wild turkeys in the backyard. Owners were quick to respond. Hope to come back.

The cabin is cozy and welcoming. It is surrounded by beauty and is just a few minutes from anything you want to see in the area. I enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and listening to the critters at night. The owners are wonderful and everyone I met in and around Mentone was friendly and welcoming as well. I will be back!!!

We loved everything about this cabin. The decor is fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped. The appliances were newer and easy to use. The hot tub was great. Area feels secluded, but close to Mentone, Little River Canyon, and Desoto. We did have to use the older County Road number in our navigation devices. We enjoyed pizza from the Mentone Market, and breakfast from a sweet little cafe called “The Mad Hatter.”
