Bubble-type rooms
The bubble-type rooms need maintenance. They are not white (exterior). They are yellowish - getting old. Not like in the pictures.

The entire stay was wonderful. The location was remote, quiet - which was what we wanted. Breakfast and dinner had a variety of food - very satisfying. The reception staff was very helpful and looked after us very well. They arranged all our tours and transport efficiently.

The staff was very friendly and kind, the chef prepared an amazing dinner and they taught us local dances and we danced together at a bonfire. They helped us organize all the activities in the desert we wanted (sunset jeep tour, sandboarding). We stayed both in the luxury and classic tents and both were very clean and comfy.

very nice Camp with bathroom inside the home.
the employees were extremely friendly and in the evening there was an excellent buffet with local specialties 10 points for the chef of the kitchen.

The staff was very nice. The food was amazing. The restaurant bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and nicer, but they are undergoing renovations so hopefully it will be upgraded. The location is great!

- Heating with aircon
- decent blancets
- freshly. Baked. Bread on dinner buffet (but the buffet ist overpriced)
- poor breakfast (instant coffee, no fresh fruit, buffet loos big on first site but is of poor quality)
- poor quality of food on dinner buffet (overcooked pasta, 2 veg. Items only) which is really pricy @ 15 JOD p. P. Considerimg what u get
- place where tour busses go
- offer overpriced tours into wadi Rum - get your tour at the visitor center
- no hot shower available anymore later in the night
- sink in the shower could not cope with volume of a short shower

Amazing atmosphere and very cosy staying in the igloo alike "tent". It's really in the desert, however, similar camps are close by, so we didn't feel too alone. Great food and service
Despite understanding that we paid for the surroundings and views, it was pricey

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They were accommodating to all of our requests. The food was delicious!
The stay at the camp was amazing. I can't say anything negative about it
5.0
The bed was comfortable.
They took the effort to decorate our room as it was our honeymoon. Which we appreciated.
Dinner was really nice, especially the kofte and maqluba.
After diner, there was a loud party untill 22.30, the sound really took away from the desert experience. So if you are looking for a calm night of enjoying the stars, I would not recommend. We couldn't enjoy the calm rest we were hoping for and had a bad view of the stars because of their harsh lights. The tour was also very barebones, no explanation just bringing you places where the other cars were. The breakfast was disappointing. Definitely in comparison to diner. Limited items and of lesser quality.

The staff was amazing. They remembered us from a previous visit, they were very accommodating. They coordinated the daily trips for us.
They forgot about the sunrise trip we booked so we missed it. But they were sorry and apologized and offered to make it up for us.

they took 35 JD for 2 hours jeep tour but we got 1 hour, then they was very rude when I talked to them about this issue and they did nothing about it.

the environment was great and the staff was helpful. I enjoyed the comfort and cleanlimness of the accomodations. The only issue was a maintenance item that was left incomplete; was the plug on the hair dryer was ripped off
The food could have been better. The desserts were old and "rubbery" I couldn't get a fork into one custards. All the food was like they were left overs.

Decently comfortable bed and pillows
- This is a party spot. It is not a place to relax and enjoy the desert night under the stars and campfire.
- There is incredibly loud music being played on speakers every night starting at 7pm until 10:30pm. This makes for a very unpleasant and stressful atmosphere.
- There is absolutely no soundproofing when it comes to the tent. we could hear all the music being played outside and dogs barking all night. could only sleep two hours and checked out early the next day.
- The bubble tent is extremely hot during the day and produces fumes that will cause your eyes to burn and turn red. This was verified with the property and told us this was expected.
- The bubble tent is also a very low quality compared to others.
- The tent is poorly maintained so you can expect to see broken hinges, broken shower heads, ect.
- The staff doesn’t do a very good job of explaining the sights to see in Rum. They would only direct you to the crowded tourist spots in the desert, unless you explicitly request a specific spot you had already looked up.
- The tour guides speak very poor to no English.

Sharah Luxury camp sits in the perfect location. It is close to the main road so you can still reach it with a rental car and don't have to think about luggage transport. However, you won't notice the road at all and it also doesn't spoil the desert experience which was my biggest fear.
We spend two nights in a dome tent ("Marsian tent") and were very happy with that decision!
Just don't get overly excited by the word "luxury". You have to expect a basic interior. But: You are in the middle of a desert with a private tent, AC and a private bath room. So that definitely is luxury in that sense! We really appreciated it!
However, the best part of Sharah is definitely the host Mohammed! He is super kind, very helpful and overall a funny guy! Besides that he is an amazing chef as well!
We can definitely recommend staying at his place and would definitely come back for the next visit in Wadi Rum!
Unfortunately you can see the ravages of time. With a few minor repairs (loose bath room door, wonky sockets) the experience would have been even better!

The place is really run down. Major issues with the bathroom overflowing. Room was dirty

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Tour also arranged for us and was ready when we arrived - tour guide didn't speak much English but for us that wasn't a problem. Martian tent was huge and very comfortable AC.
We chose to have dinner at the camp, which was good but pricey for what it was- considering this is the middle of a desert not really surprising but coming from Amman a bit of a shock.

Diner and breakfast were very good
Two hours Jeep tour at the sunset time is à nice expérience
Price was expensive for the martian tent without a real Nice view

We really wanted to give this place a great review - after all there is plenty to like. It's in a great location and has a choice of traditional tents and Martian domes, the staff were friendly and on the surface it looked like it had everything we needed from a Wadi Rum campsite.
But, firstly, they wanted to charge us a ridiculously high fee of 60 JOD per night to have an extra bed in our tent for our 8-year old son. I understand that there would be an extra fee for his breakfast, and a small fee to cover putting the bed in. But 120 JOB for 2 nights, when the tent had cost us 230 JOD? When I questioned this the manager agreed to reduce it to 50 per night - and I reluctantly agreed. But the next morning, when I tried to have a shower and discovered that there was no hot water, I complained about this and the extra-bed fee being totally unjustified given the service we were being provided with. They eventually agreed to charge us a much more realistic 40 JOD in total for the extra bed, and gave us a discount on dinner on our second night - but you shouldn't have to complain to get to that stage. And despite saying it had been fixed, we never had hot water for our entire 2-night stay. They also put us in a tent right next to some construction that they currently have going on, despite the site being virtually empty. They could have easily put us in a tent further away from the construction, which started quite early on both mornings. There are a lot of similar camps in that area - some are more luxurious and expensive, but this place wasn't cheap - and I would say that they need to improve in several areas to keep up with the competition.
