Welcome to Cypress Landing, an updated waterfront Lake Anna original home located on the public side. This unique property offers that lake getaway feeling, but with all of the modern amenities including hi-speed internet. Cypress Landing has something for everyone. The open concept upper level has a warm rich feeling with a fully outfitted kitchen for your cooking needs, a comfy living area for family gatherings, and a water view quiet room for reading, puzzles, or games. Finished lower level living area is also open concept and has a TV, ping pong table, and Foosball table. The expansive deck has a gas grill, and plenty of room for family meals with water views. The large boat house and dock will easily accommodate a 23 foot boat and has exterior outlets for charging boating/fishing equipment. There are 2 kayaks which can be used for exploring the lake or finding the perfect fishing spot. Cypress Landing is located in the Morgan I community, and includes access to Morgan I and Morgan II amenity spaces. The Morgan community amenity spaces each have a boat launch ramp, picnic area, and swimming beach. Cypress Landing is located 5 minutes away from The Cove restaurant/Hunters Landing (by boat or car). Within a 10 minute drive of Cypress Landing you will find Lake Anna State Park, Tim's at Lake Anna, The Boardwalk on Lake Anna, Cooling Pond Brewery and Callie Opie's Orchard. Within 15 minutes of Cypress Landing you will find the Food Lion shopping center/ABC store, Coyote Hole Ciderworks, The Lounge, Lake Anna Taphouse, Vitos Italian, The Asian Cafe and Lake Anna Winery. Great overall stay. Nice updates on the interior, great dock and great view. Only negative was lots of wasps and grass needed to be cut.

When you first drive onto the property, it sure does not look snazzy. However, the inside was quite nice, and the deck overlooked a very quiet cove. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 gkids (who had a downstairs bedroom and a great bathroom). Very well-equipped rental - you don't need to bring anything as far as cooking. Gas grill was great, and we ate all of our meals on the deck (weather hot but deck shady). AC worked well. Ceiling fans helped to disperse air.
I read that there were complaints about steepness of bank - we have been in rental units with far steeper slopes and LOTS of steps to the water - this one was fairly easy.
Rented a pontoon boat from Shipwreck Boat Rental which was only 5 minutes away. Jeff was great.
Tim's is not too far away for dinner - all you could eat crabs for $28!.
Property owner supplied just about everything you needed to be on the water - so just bring lifejackets if you don't rent a boat.
My only major complaint was that we were unable to pull the pontoon boat into the covered slip due to a boat cradle, which I did not want to handle. However, we easily docked the boat off the end of the dock.
I highly recommend this rental.

The house was as advertised, the view and access to the lake were great, and communication was very clear. We look forward to doing this again!

The kids loved the kayaks, and the game tables downstairs. The house is absolutely beautiful, kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you could need. Which was a big plus! Beds were super comfy! The very 1st day upon arrival the house was spotless beautifully clean. By the next morning there were so many different bugs everywhere is wasn’t funny. They just kept coming all week long. The hill to get to the boat house is no joke, if a proper picture of that was shown, I truly would not have booked this house. It is very steep, and definitely takes some time getting down and up. You would think they would have steps built. Speaking of steps, the steps to get out of the water need replacing, I had 2 family members, 1 child, 1 adult that fell going down/up the steps, with and without water shoes on and they busted their toes and knees open. It was good for our family vacation this year. We were able to make the best of it, but would definitely choose a different location next time, unless improvements were made.

Great location and lots of space. Company is very nice and responsive. My only complaint is the check out process is a bit of work. I think asking people to “wipe down the fridge goes a bit far” - pretty sure we pay a cleaning fee so I don’t think renters should have to do that. Made me feel like we might get dinged if there was like a table that wasn’t wiped down. Other than that it was beautiful and a good house to host family or friends

We were very pleased with our stay, the house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The dock and fire pit were very nice additions. We also thoroughly enjoyed using the ping-pong table and foosball table in the basement.

Enjoyed the entire weekend. Great for either just a relaxing weekend or close enough to have options out on the town.

Nice place, but could have been better. No not water in kitchen, and a few bugs in basement. Bathroom showers are great. We mostly stayed upstairs. Beautiful view.

Awesome location right on the lake! Had a blast taking the kayaks out and fishing off the dock. Highly recommend this property and hope to come back again.

This is a lovely house, updated but still with a warm, cozy feel. The main floor is much more open and airy than the photos suggest, and the high ceiling and skylight make it feel bigger than it is. The kitchen is modern and very well-equipped, the master bed is incredibly comfortable, the ping pong table and foosball table are in great shape... there's even a massage chair on the lower level, which was a nice surprise! And it's convenient to the state park, which is truly a gem with lots of great hiking trails. Only slight issue is that we learned upon arriving that we weren't supposed to use the fireplaces... it would have been nice to know that in advance since the listing advertises the fireplaces and we were hoping to enjoy them in the winter. But that ended up being a minor detail in an overall lovely stay. We'll be back!

Great property - well maintained house with a private deck overlooking the lake. The kayaks and tubes were a nice addition and the furniture was the most comfortable I've ever had in a rental home. Bonus - the wifi is actually high speed.
