We had a nice stay! It was relatively easy to get into manhattan. We found that some of the sheets were dirty but we swapped them so it was no problem. The pack and play was not functional, it would not open all the way, so we were glad we brought our own! The toy basket was a nice touch

The home was cute, large, and had nice big beds. There was a 24-hour market across the street that was awesome. Parking is difficult to find, and the weekend nights are noisy with sirens. Overall it was a good option just outside the city.

Nice, clean property. Very comfortable stay. Felt safe in the area. Neighbor was extremely helpful. Had trouble getting the keys out of the lock box at check in. Aside from that our stay was great. Owner answered all my questions quickly and was very nice. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Awesome apartment of 3 bedrooms, high ceilings, 2 bathrooms, perfect for our family of 5!
Bus ride with NJ 154 bus is simple, kids love it and it brings you into Manhattan within 30 mins!
Highly recommended this host and apartment!
Only comment would be to add blinds to the living room windows for more confort at night when the sun is lowering

We stayed 4 nights two families 7 adults/3 kids.
The appartment is spacious and it was very clean.
The beds in the rooms are confortable but the pull out couches were uncorfortable, specially one of them, it need a new matress for sure.
There are only 4 chairs at the table ( it would be nice if the can provide wirh more chairs as it is listed for 10 people) Also it was not enough kitcheware, but it didn't bother us because we were there only to sleep.
We found the transport to Manhattan easy. There is not metro but the bus stop is in front of the house and it takes around 30/40 to Port Authority terminal. It would be nice if George have provided us with buses info. It tooks us a while to figure out.
There are more buses 10 min walk down to the river. A worth walk as there is a very nice view if NYC skyline.
Daily parking pases are available for 10$ in the library and you can park your car in the street. ( check for parking restrictions).
The neighborhood is far from fancy but we found it family friendly and safe.
Overall is was a nice stay. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Eli’s property. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds and there was a lovely lounge/dining area as well. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook for your self.
Eli was a wonderful host and always responded quickly if we had questions. Check in was very simple.
There is a bus stop outside the door to take you into NYC although it does take a good 40 minutes -1 hour to get in and the same on the return. The property is also on a major road so it was pretty noisy but you are staying in a city so I had expected that.
Eli’s place is great value if you want more space and a home away from home.

Large space, great location, just what we wanted.

This is an upstairs apartment with no washer/dryer and only the one tv in the main living area no additional tv's.
None of the windows had any window treatments in the living space. This made watching tv during the morning/day difficult and hard to keep the apartment cool with the small air conditioning window unit. Bedrooms had sheer curtain and when apartment next door flipped lights on it would shine right into bedroom.
Towels provided were the size of a typical bath mat. Between a hand towel and a standard towel, definitely didn't wrap around any of us. Also, was only provided 6 towels for whole stay with 4 adults for 6 nights.
Contacted owner to get more towels and received quick response and more towels provided that night. Another 5 I believe.
People in the unit above were constantly making racket at all hours.
Flimsy door by bedrooms, think maybe stairs were behind it? As we heard people going up or down behind the door and the lock was like a standard bathroom lock. We put a chair in front of the door to make ourselves feel more safe.
Bedrooms could use a small dresser so that you don't have to live out of suitcase.
Easy location to get to and from.
Seemed like a good area.
Bus stop right outside door
Great deli across street.

The property is a spacious 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms home. The location is super convenient to the bus stop (the NJTransits stop in both directions is just outside the door) and to grocery shopping and coin laundry. The owner Eli is very responsive and very kind and went above and beyond to make our stay the best one possible. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

This property is just as advertised. It was comfortable and clean. Parking was a little tricky. Had trouble finding spots close to the apartment but managed. I had my 86 yr old mother with me (she has difficulty walking) so public transportation was not an option. We drove into the city every day and it took about 30 to 40 min. I used a parking app and reserved parking ahead of time. Would recommend this property.

Three stars, but could have been 5-stars with very minor changes.
Great place executed on the super-thrifty. It was clean. No top sheets, only comforters - they said that's how they do it. Five washcloths total for five people for five nights - they said that's all they provide. Not nearly enough furniture (at least one piece of furniture in the photos was not there) -- master bedroom had no dresser, or drawers of any kind, or counter-height surface of any kind and no mirror.
This review is by the husband of the renter. I was one of the five people in the group.

Beautiful, comfortable property
We had a wonderful stay here. The beds were very comfortable and there was enough space for us to stretch out. Having 2 bathrooms was helpful for our family of 5. There is also a tiny pharmacy and a tiny store across the street where we could pick up a few things we needed. The only con was that it is very bright in the living space, where the sofa bed is, due to traffic lights and street lights outside, and it was hard for my adult son to sleep in there. We moved our sleeping situation around and solved that problem. Oh, and parking is difficult, of course. Overall, a great place to spend a few days.

New York Trip
We stayed a week at Eli’s property. The place is clean and we didn’t have any issues. The bus stop is right in front of the apartment and there is a deli across the street. We had a great time and would definitely book this place again.

4 days in NYC
We enjoyed this property. Nicely update. Comfortable rooms. In the living room we were able to use the two sofa beds. The living room is large and very bright. It also has a nice large screen TV. Great beds. We were able to make breakfast before going out to tour the city. The 154 bus is just a short block away. It goes directly to New York Port Authority, just a few walking minutes to Times Square. It takes about 45 minutes once you board. There is bus service until like 11 pm. Be careful you see the bus schedule. There are two more routes that are a little farther but also lead you home.

House was as described in listing with3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in North Bergen. Bus stop was easy access in front of house and took us to the subway station in New York which took about 1/2 hour. There was an excellent deli across the street that served breakfast, lunch and dinner and had a nice little eating area where we got breakfast every morning and late night dinner/snacks.
Bedrooms had king/queen beds -3 of the beds were very comfortable however one was very hard and uncomfortable so we ended up not using it and just doubled up. Bathrooms were pretty tiny and tubs were kind of disgusting. We didn’t cook but kitchen seemed to be well stocked with dishes, utensils and pots/pans. Contacted the owner for a small issue and received a response back within minutes.
Rental served its use as someplace to sleep while going into the city every day and the price was comparatively low but probably would pay a bit more next time and look for another property.

Street parking was easy to find, but needed to buy parking passes in order to park anywhere in the neighborhood. Township advertised that they could be bought online and after entering all info with pictures of car registration and drivers license it would not allow us to complete the pass without a driver's license from some in north Bergen, even though it was a visitors pass that we were trying to purchase.
Had to get one from a machine in town which owner provided address for. Machine asked how many days then told me I was only allowed to enter 1 day so not sure why it asked. This also meant we had to keep stopping just to buy parking passes each day. It then wouldn't take my card and literally spit my money out at me since I didn't have exact change. Owner was responsive to messages throughout this, but all and all it was an hour and a half experience just so we could park and go to sleep for the night since the passes were needed for any parking after hours and it was a very stressful experience that.
Owner was great, and house was great, but the township itself just seems very unfriendly towards visitors coming into town.

Wonderful place to visit NY with friends and family !!!
The condo is very spacious and our children/teenager loved the view on the NJ and the "busy" street. The bus stop is front of the house and it's very easy to access to NY (and not expansive). The bathroom are clean and comfy. Only one problem : one of the sofa bed seems broken and were not confortable. For the rest, it was gorgeous !!!
