Cooke Cottage is a lovely cottage right on the bike trail between Clare Valley Wineries. We only had an overnight stay, but it has all the facilities for a longer holiday. And it’s only a short drive in to town. Nadia was very welcoming , accomodating & responsive to answer any questions.

Outdoor provisions, bbq and table seating could have been a lot cleaner. We could not sit on the outdoor furniture or cook on the bbq due to the uncleanliness, cobwebs etc.

Fantastic location for cycling the Riesling Trail! Virtually on the trail itself and easy ride to numerous wineries.
Property was very clean and well appointed.
Host went above and beyond to assist us! Would definitely recommend a stay here and will return.

Yes, arrival instructions were concise and well delivered. We are in the wine industry and have already recommended this stay to colleagues.
We were bit disappointed with the wood supply. Only one barrow load supplied, which must have been a mini barrow.
We went and bought 2 bags of wood for the second night of our stay. To be fair, firewood is scarce and expensive these days.

We loved this gorgeous little cottage, it was so well presented and in an amazing location. Perfect for our family getaway.

Cooke Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable. We will be looking at making our stay at Cooke Cottage a yearly trip. Highly recommend staying there.
Pillows were a bit soft.

The kitchen
Promise of WiFi not delivered. Had to ask for WiFi password as was not in the information pack. Unprofessional and slow to respond. Owners send a very rude and insulting message re drinking. Owners said they would get back to me re no connection to internet but did not despite my telephone calls and messages. Advised Owners of requirement for 3 beds. They denied receiving the message and only made up 3 beds then complained of extra work to clean the 3rd bed because they had not put sheets on it. Would not recommend. owners also complained that a glass was broken (cheap 50c glass) and would have to replace at their expense - seriously? Not sheep stations.

Very enjoyable stay. Lovely spacious cottage with large renovated kitchen (with a Nespresso coffee machine) and living area at the back.
It was too warm to use them for our stay but the fireplaces would be wonderful in the wintertime.
Having some additional pillows as options for people so everyone could find a comfy one.
Mowing the lawn would have overall presented the cottage much better, especially as the weather was nice for our stay and we were sitting outside.

What a beautiful little getaway in this gorgeous cottage
We loved the comfortable recliner lounge chairs and the pretty views
We purchased 2 bags of wood from the local OTR and that was enough for 2 nights

Cooke Cottage is the perfect relaxing getaway location, so close to the reisling trail and many amazing wineries.
its perfectly spotless, with super comfortable beds and bedding and the sdded luxury of the 2 fire places and fantastic bath. this is the second time ive spent a weekend here and i will be back again.
Nadia is so easy to communicate with and has created a beautiful home away from home

Location was excellent - quiet but close enough to facilities (note for the unwary the cottage location does not count as Clare for food deliveries so an extra charge will apply. The old ducted heating worked surprisingly well with the cottage staying warm and cosy throughout our stay. Rooms were a good size and well appointed.
It was the little things that prevented a higher rating. For example ash was left in the fireplace, the vacuum cleaners were full of dust and unable to be used. I expected breakfast provisions and wood to be provided however neither were.
