Location. Great breakfast. Nice bathroom products. Home made cookies.
Our room was a bit small. Otherwise everything was perfect.

A smart, tidy and extremely clean place with friendly staff. We stayed in The Knook room which is perfectly adequate, but worth noting that it is definitely on the cosy side of cosy. Lovely being able to have breakfast while enjoying the view across the river and down to the castle.

Julie and John could not do more to have made our stay easy and relaxed. Location is the best in town. Breakfast is more than first class and attention to detail and attention to your needs was above and beyond. Dartmouth is a relaxed destination and the accommodation fitted that mantra. We took our dig and even though Booking.com dog filter said we could our room was not supposed to take dogs. Julie’s looked surprised when we turned up with our pooch; however did not bat an eyelid and tested her to a chopped up sausage every morning at breakfast. A class act and we shall return, Treat yourself and book.

Location was amazing and view from hotel window was stunning.Hosts were lovely and very accomadating.Hotel very well looked after and breakfast had z varied menu.Eveyrthing was of a high standard.
The room was quite small and had to keep moving the chairs in the window to get into bed.
Bathroom small.Parking was no a problem in October but if visiting in Summer months it could be a issue.You would have to use the park and ride at top of hill and get shuttle bus.£200.pounds a night I regard as very expensive.

Everything was spot on, from the hosts to the tiny details included in the accommodation, from the cookies in the room to the binoculars on the windowsill to enable guests to make the most of the spectacular view that money can't buy!

The location is perfect, but the design of this property is very current and clean with a coastal flair without being over the top. Even though the room was small it was smartly designed. Nothing was lacking and the finishes and craftsmanship was top notch.

Great location with views of the River Dart. Also convenient to everything going on in Dartmouth. We were here for the annual Dart Music Festival.

Perfect location overlooking Dartmouth harbour and Kingwear. Beautifully furnished throughout, very comfortable bed and bedding,soft towels and attention to detail. John and Julie perfect hosts.

Waterfront view to die for - I could have sat there for hours - and we enjoyed our morning cup of tea in bed with the curtains open. Very clever use of space and careful consideration to ensure maximum comfort and convenience and some lovely little touches, including a flask of fresh milk for tea and coffee, shortbread biscuits and ice buckets with ice machine downstairs. The breakfast selection was superb including vegetarian and vegan options, fresh berries and yoghurt.
We plan to make this an annual trip around the date of our wedding anniversary.
Not great sound insulation but other guests not noisy so not a problem.

Friendly welcome. Very clean throughout. Excellent breakfast in a spacious, sunny room with view across the river. Bedroom had everything needed for a short stay. Quiet at this time of year. Well fitted out bathroom with the window sill making a very good shelf. Good bed linen and towels. I guess a recent, high quality, refit throughout the property.
The room allocated through Booking.com was "The Nook". This is a tiny room at the back. We had to take turns to move about at all! No room even for a chair. There were a few small drawers and a small wardrobe. Bathroom good, but only space for a tiny basin.

Its right on the river and roughly 2mins walk to town center.
We had the nook room which was a little small but very well presented.
Staff were incredably friendly and helpful.
100% will book again.
We could only book the nook room from booking.com and we wernt aware we could of booked some of the better rooms from the hotel directly.

The bed had around 10 hairs, needed changing. Very average breakfast.
