About this condo rental

Summary: Mulberry House offers spacious comfortable, spacious and bright apartments with just flats per floor. Lift/elevator access provides convenience for travellers. A selection of one and two bedroom apartments are available, each with its own splash of personality and all with sofa beds for additional guests. Some even offer views of the London skyline. The spaces are ideal for couples, business travellers and groups. The Space: This generously sized apartment is designed with the urban traveller in mind and is located on a quiet side street away from the main bustle. Approach the apartment via the third floor (with lift or elevator) and then immediately walk through the hallway into the large reception room with large windows and wooden floors. The reception room features a large sofa bed and dining area with tv and a south facing view of the City skyline. The open plan kitchen features a washing machine so that you can do some laundry and travel light, a dishwasher because who wants to do the dishes by hand, toaster and kettle, fridge, stove/hob, oven and microwave. We know how important it is for people with special dietary requirements to prepare food for themselves rather than rely on the understanding and cooperation of restaurants and you may not want to eat out all the time, so we make sure you have the added choice of self catering. Of course, there are plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for you to use. There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a king size bed, lots of wardrobe space and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a slightly smaller bed which comfortably sleeps two and it has access to a separate shower room. Both bedrooms feature hotel quality bed linen, wardrobes with hangers, plenty of drawer space, TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and good quality towels for all guests. We will supply you with some toiletries on arrival and also put together a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and some snacks for when you arrive. Good quality wifi is available in all our properties to help you plan your day's sightseeing, catch up on some work, keep in touch with friends and family back home or simply to relax after a busy day in the capital. All City Living London properties offer convenient bases to discover what London has to offer so that you can recharge at the end of the day and then do it all again. Some recent guest feedback: "The apartment was exactly as listed. Fairy spacious. Two nice bathrooms. ~7 minute walk from Farringdon station making it easy to get lots of places by train. Lots of pubs walkable." "We absolutely loved our stay. Location is perfect and flat stunning! Perfect for 6 people." "Excellent value!" Guest Access: Self check in means you can let yourself in with our detailed instructions anytime after 3pm although we recommend you arrive before 10pm if possible. Self check in means no guessing arrival times to meet your host of key handover or stressing about running late. Just turn up and let yourself in using our clear instructions. The Neighborhood: Clerkenwell has a fascinating history and is home to London’s design industry, which hosts the annual Clerkenwell Design Week. Once known for its monasteries and prisons, it was the grimy backdrop for many of Charles Dickens's literary works as well as the birthplace of Marxism. It is now completely transformed into the Tech, advertising and architectural hub that it is now. Some local attractions for your consideration: Exmouth Market - pedestrianised oasis of cafes, restaurants and bars that never disappoint St Paul's Cathedral - Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece where Lady Diana promised the then Prince Charles she would honour and obey Blackfriars Bridge - the most stunning views can be had from the platforms at this railway bridge, two short stops from Farringdon Blackfriars Pier - pick up a Clipper and tour London by boat Tate Modern - modern art institution Museum and Priory of the Order of St John Grainger - ecletic Australian dining Fabric London - legendary nightclub Smithfield Market - historic wholesale meat market. Not for vegans. Zetter Townhouse - more cocktails! Barbican Centre - cultural multi arts centre with concert hall, galleries and cinema Getting Around: Access to transport is excellent and the nearest station is the superbly connected Farringdon for Elizabeth, Circle, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan lines as well as mainline rail stations. Fast trains direct to Luton and Gatwick airports make this an excellent choice in central London after you land. St Pancras International for Eurostar services to Continental Europe is just one stop away. Other Things to Note: Please can we request no smoking, parties or any behaviour that would disturb surrounding or future guests. We know that plans can change so you can book with very little risk since your stay can be cancelled with a full refund up to a week before you arrive.

Four adults stayed at this property July 2022. The pictures on the website were accurate and represent various units. Our unit was clean and comfortable. It was hot during this time, but there were several fans. The fans were helpful, but we had to sleep with the windows open due to the heat. It was noisy due to street traffic and early morning workers in the area. Our unit had two bedrooms with comfortable, queen-sized beds and a sofa bed. There were two bathrooms. Both had a full shower. One had a tub and shower. There are gems like a dishwasher, washer/dryer combined unit. There is a toaster, microwave, and a full complement of pots, dishware, and utensils. There was also a clothing rack to hang clothes. Unfortunately, the washer dryer unit took an extremely long time to wash and dry clothing. It was more efficient to wash the clothing and hang them on the clothing rack. We took full advantage of the stove and refrigerator. We cooked breakfast and occasionally dinner. It was a home away from home. Everyone in our travel party was quite comfortable. Also, there is access to an underground (tube) station and a bus stop nearby. The property owner must fix the elevator as it was challenging to bring luggage up several flights of stairs. It was difficult for 2 members of our group as they both have medical conditions that made taking the stairs each day very challenging. We were not the only ones who struggled to do so7.5/10. 9/10 if the elevator works.

Enjoyed our stay - 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom with plenty of room for 2 or 3 people. Kitchen was lacking a bit in terms of things (no spices, paper towels, oven mits, etc.). Did try to call one time for help and no help or return call. Figured it out so didn't follow up. Appreciated the fans since it was quite warm while we were in London. Great location - will stay again.
