Great base to explore Franschhoek on a very short walking distance to the wine tram!

Nice and friendly guest house, with a pool, sun loungers, comfortable outdoor and indoor sitting areas, honesty bar. The breakfast was super, the staff very friendly and helpful. The sort of place where you chat to your fellow travellers over breakfast. The guest house was well decorated, with practical, comfortable reasonably spacious rooms and generous bath room with all amenities provided.

Don't be put off by the outside front view, which looks a little plain amongst the other cute guest houses with lush gardens in Franschhoek. The back garden is lush and well designed with the main house nestled between bushes and flowers.

Sehr schöner Aufenthaltsbereich. Unser Zimmer hatte als einziges einen Zugang zum Garten.

Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig. Für uns zwei Personen gab es nur vier halbe Scheiben Wurst und drei Scheiben Käse mit zwei halben Toastscheiben auf einer Platte. Ebenso nur ein paar Scheibchen Früchte. Nach Wusch wurde portioniert Joghurt und Müsli, Omelette oder Eier gereicht.

Clean and well run guest house with super friendly staff and a great breakfast.

The room was clean and well appointed. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately we only had one night there.

An absolute gem for overnight in Franschhoek. From reception by friendly staff till checking out such a pleasant experience. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely coffee and tea tray. A stocked mini fridge as well as complimentary water in the room. Lovely touches like reading lights, plugs with different sockets. Beautiful decorated rooms and lounge. Breakfast was delicious, lovely plated cold as well as hot breakfast. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you team for such a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable stay - would have liked to have stayed longer!

The room was very comfortable and clean with everything needed for a nice relaxing stay - great to have a coffee station in the room as well as the lounge area - which was a lovely relaxing space. The breakfast was very good too and the staff were lovely and very welcoming!

A very pleasant place to stay with an outstanding breakfast and very charming staff.

Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. lovely guest lounge and a beautiful garden with pool and sun loungers.

Very thin curtains didn't block out the light. No mirror in the bedroom.

The quality of the rooms was first class. The liation was ideal for the wine tram and a 10 minute walk to the town square

The photos online don't do this place enough justice. Gorgeous guest house with only 5 rooms. Great lounge area and beautiful garden with loungers and shaded sofa seating area. Great to relax in after a long day sightseeing. The property is safe walking distance into town about 5 minutes along the main road and you are located just around the corner from the wine tram stop which is ideal!

Very nice place, clean and so comfortable. Staff so friendly and made you feel welcome

A little bit too quiet in the guest house. There is no music in the dining area and lounge so made us feel a little bit uncomfortable. Should have some music in the background to relax your visitors.

Good location, easy walking to the main street with all the shops & restaurants. Parking on site. Friendly & helpful staff. Nice room with fridge etc. good size shower. Good breakfast. Pool & sunloungers in pleasant garden.

Excellent stay. Could'nt be better. Staff, accommodation and location are highly recommended.

The breakfast was excellent. Special provision was made for a vegetarian meal. The host was very friendly, helpful and obliging. Even our car was well taken off, with good, secure parking topped up with a free car wash !!!

A MAGICAL SPACE

Cecilia and Mikaela(sp) made the stay feel like am still at home. The house was magnificent. The decor was beautiful. It was the cherry at the end of our road trip with my best friend. I cannot wait to go back.

The door handle from my room needs to be fixed.

What an absolute treat!! My mom turned 60 and the morning of her birthday she was absolutely blown away by the special breakfast especially prepared for her. The attention to detail and the special treatment had her in tears. I could not have asked for a better get-away for such a special occasion. We will definitely be back, and we will recommend La Reverie to everyone. We had the best time!! Everyone went above & beyond. Thank you!!

Amazing place to stay. The staff make you feel like royalty and VIP guests. it was a wonderfully place to stay for our romantic night away

A little more attention to detail on the cleaning of the bathroom. a few stains on the toilet and I cleaned marks under the toilet seat were not ideal but other than that, all was great.
