It overlooks Omey Strand, and the shop, church and pub are all within walking distance. Omey Strand itself offers a host of options for a family to spend the day building sand castles, play in rock pools, hunt for shell fish, go sailing, horse riding or just plain walking to look at the host of wild flowers that grown in the area. You might catch the odd glimpse of a seal or if you are really lucky see an otter. This is only the tip of the ice berg.
