THE MANSION elevates off of a high knoll on 5 private acres overlooking Sunday River and the Mahoosuc mountain range. If you want space for 15 you will enjoy spreading out all around this little mansion's grounds. The property features manicured lawns with a beautiful pond and large yard to enjoy games and relaxation all summer long. In the winter, enjoy a 5-minute view-filled drive over to Sunday River for the best snow in the East. This little mansion has all the comforts while being in the heart of year round recreational paradise. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms as well as a pool room, bar, Golden Tee Golf, downstairs Media room and an outdoor screened patio. There is a brick turret that centers the house from the basement to the second floor. The grand entrance will bring you into the middle of the turret while the basement features a custom bar and the upstairs features a bunk room that is especially cool for the kids. The outdoor space will provide endless wild life viewing by the pond. Look for the Moose! It is also a great spot for some pond hockey in the winter! The Sunday River Resort is 3.8 miles away, about a 10 minute drive. Ask us about local swimming holes! I hosted a small June wedding here of family and friends, and everything about the day at The Mansion was perfect. Amanda was super helpful prior to our stay and upon arrival, we were able to get answers to our questions almost immediately. The house is beautiful, and the yard was even better. I 1000% would recommend!

The mansion was everything the description and the reviews said it would be. Superb living/entertaining spaces, plenty of comfortable beds to sleep a huge party, great backyard and outdoor space, ideal kitchen for cooking up food for the whole group. 10/10 and would stay again!

I booked this house for a weekend celebration for my brother and his fiance's upcoming wedding. It was a weekend with family and friends and the house was perfect. The games kept everyone busy and having fun all weekend and since the weather was so nice, we were able to spend a lot of time in the backyard playing lawn games as well. Everyone was able to comfortably fit and the house is just so nice that everyone kept remarking how nice it was! We would all return again as we had such a great time in such a great house!

We loved this property for a group of 14 for a special celebration trip! We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy everything the property had to offer. Awesome location to the mountain and of course, to the Matterhorn for music saturday night!
Highlights: So much space and fun stuff to keep anyone entertained, very well furnished with everything you could need (even speakers, game room, pool table, blankets, etc), location feels remote but is close to everything in newry, beautiful dinning room that fit 14 at one table, hot tub, snowshoeing gear and AMAZING views!! We did run out of silverware and mugs, so good things to bring extra of!
Would rent here again in any season!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mansion. We have booked VRBO properties all over the world and the mansion is by far is the best experience. It’s cleanliness, amenities, spacious options within the unit, made us feel like we were never on top of each other. The kids and the adults all enjoyed the game room downstairs. Management’s response time to the few issues that we had was exemplary. Property is just 7 miles from Sunday River ski resort.

We had a wonderful time at this property. There is so much to do within the home, it was so incredibly spacious for everyone to spread out, and hiking trails (with waterfalls!) abound. We highly recommend this property to groups of families and friends. We definitely are already thinking about when we can go back!

The mansion is amazing! Honestly has everything you need and more. My fiends and I all had an amazing time. The yard is also awesome and perfect for yard games. They even had their own cornhole sets! Look no further if you have a big group staying in Newry.

This house had everything. The kids loved the basement level with so many games and huge tv room. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of bedrooms. Would stay again! The house was absolutely beautiful!

It was a great week at this property. Amanda was a fantastic host and even purchased a highchair when I asked if she had one for our grand daughter. Everything was as advertised and we even had a moose visit one morning! I would love to come back here in the future.

The home was beautiful and the view was even more amazing. It was a perfect base camp to easily access hiking, tubing, and dining. We received our access information the day our reservation started and it was easy all the way through check-out. The house is clearly loved, well-stocked, and well taken care of. A great house in a great location!

Absolutely Perfect!!
This was one of my best stays yet! I stayed here from June 10th to 12th. The property was so clean and so well decorated, the photos do not do it justice! The views were simply breathtaking. I went with a group of friends and family for my graduation celebrations. Everything about the home was so convenient! We had a BBQ, spent time in the hot tub, had so many games to keep us entertained! The kitchen was stocked with EVERY cooking utensil and seasoning you might need. Amanda had ample suggestions for things to do in the area but the house was so perfect we didn’t need to leave for anything! I wish I had more time! I’m definitely booking another stay for the winter time, my friends and I cannot wait!

We had an amazing time at this house. Very quiet and extremely well kept with excellent amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the steam shower. The games in the basement and the downstairs TV room were fun and comfy. Although we were a small group for this house, we felt very at home. We all loved the bean bag chairs. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We had everything we needed. Our host was very accommodating. I asked her if she had a slow cooker at the house before we got there and she had her maintenance woman bring one over for us to use before we got to the house. Totally unexpected. I highly recommend this rental and if we are in the area again, we definitely would rent again.
