Welcome to Club 139, a beautifully remodeled 1958 mid-century home located in the Shadow Falls neighborhood of St. Paul, arguably one of the most desirable locations in the Twin Cities. Here you are two blocks away from Town and Country Club and historic Summit Avenue, and very close to several colleges and universities (University of St. Thomas, Macalester College, University of St. Catherine, Hamline University, Mitchell-Hamline School of Law. Just steps away from the Mississippi River, 10 minutes to downtown Minneapolis, and 15 minutes to MSP International Airport. Club 139 will comfortably accommodate up to six adults (no children, please). There are three large bedrooms (one with twin beds), two full baths and a half bath. The gourmet kitchen is Martha Stewart quality -- five-burner Wolf stove, Meile double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, prep island, entertaining island, large dining area and all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils. The open floor plan is perfect for friends to gather and socialize -- sit at the island/bar, relax on the sofa, or grab some snacks and popcorn and move to the comfortable furnishings of the lower level to take in a movie on the 65” smart TV. While the kitchen area is akin to Martha Stewart, the outdoor living is more Dean Martin. The 12x28-foot elevated deck has a shaded table and chairs, and a Char-Broil commercial gas grill, perfect for enjoying outdoor cooking and entertaining. The lower garden-level patio has luxurious outdoor furniture and a mesmerizing flame table. The backyard in beautifully landscaped and very private. Club 139 is a new VRBO property, since November 2019. With a commitment to providing a fun, safe and comfortable stay. You will enjoy new carpeting, new furnishings, new towels and linens and complimentary toiletries. The property features keyless entry, high-speed wi-fi, and has enough off-street parking to accommodate 3 or more cars. Very safe location. An unfortunate change in plans days before our short stay in Minnesota for a memorial service left us scrambling for a property that could accommodate our family and plans.... but the good fortune of finding Michael's home turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The home was perfect, location convenient in a quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen. But the highlight of our stay was Michael. We arrived on Thanksgiving on a red eye and he graciously accommodated our early check in request. And without our asking, offered to stock our refrigerator with any essentials we needed, knowing that finding an open grocery store would be difficult on the holiday. Without exaggeration, this was the best customer service I've received on any vacation. If our travels bring us back to Minnesota, we will not hesitate to book this property again.

The house on Otis Ave in St. Paul was in a beautiful neighborhood with 3 bedrooms. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. We even had 11 for dinner. We were there for a Macalester graduation. The kitchen family room plus a living room allowed us to spread out. You are just a block from the river which everyone enjoyed walking to. Thanks to Michael for providing us such a perfect house in a glorious setting.

We loved the house, yard and location. The house had everything we needed. Just when you think it’s not there, just open another cupboard. Lol. The beds were so comfortable and the living space was large and very roomy. Was in town for my son’s graduation at University of St Thomas and it was perfect! Would stay here over and over. Communication with the host was very timely.

The house was exactly as described. Great location and everything we needed to grill or cook and have an all around good time. Just 10 minutes from US Bank made for an easy trip to Minneapolis.

This home is spacious, beautifully furnished with exceptional outdoor space. We had everything we could possibly need in terms of kitchen and other supplies. Parking available for three spaces off street and ample on street parking. It is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with beautifully maintained large mid-century homes. Grocery and other big name stores are an easy 5 minute drive. Biking and walking is safe and scenic in this area of St Paul.
Michael was prompt and helpful in all communication. Overall, my experience was exceptional.

Two friends and I came for a girls shopping weekend. We enjoyed all the room and comfy beds. The location was perfect. We grilled the first night and enjoyed the deck, the beautiful yard, and tomatoes picked from the garden. We were welcome to use spices or anything else we needed in the fridge or cupboards. The flowers and wine were a nice touch.
We didn’t see the 2 bikes listed and were going to call but then it rained and there was no need. All in all, we had a nice experience.

Clean and Inviting Home Perfect for Twin Cities Access
This home was very clean and inviting. It is located in a well-established, well-cared for neighborhood in the St. Paul area. Beautiful neighborhood to walk in and a block from the river for more walking, running and biking trails. The kitchen was well appointed if you wanted to prepare meals. Large dining table for family meals or puzzles and games in the evening. My husband enjoyed sunning on the deck. Two gathering areas make it nice for people who want to watch TV and those who just want to visit. We were visiting our son who is a musician and attending his gigs in the evening and an afternoon patio event. This location was a great "home base" for accessing the Twin Cities. Our hosts were gracious. Michelle returned messages promptly when we arrived. She came by to water outside plants but was very sensitive to our schedule so as not to disrupt us in any way. Thank you Michael and Michelle. We will definitely stay here again!

June Family Gathering
We were in the Twin Cities for a celebration of life for my mother. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of space for sharing a meal, playing cards, visiting with local family, relaxing on the beautiful deck, watching the humming birds, and going for walks around the beautiful neighborhood. The bedrooms were private, very comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. Our host was out of the country during our stay but we spoke on the phone before he left and during the stay his assistant stopped by a couple of times to make sure things were ok. The kitchen was very well supplied and enjoyable to work in. It was too warm during our stay to use the flame table but we sat on the comfortable furniture in the area and enjoyed the beautiful back yard and the birds. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying early morning coffee and for watching the sunsets in the evening. It's close to the airport but quiet, and convenient to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Altogether a wonderful place for a family gathering!

This is one of my favorite vrbo’s. The home is updated with wonderful fully stocked kitchen and nice light throughout the home. Beautiful large backyard with deck and patio. It’s a short walk to the greenway by the Mississippi River which is great for walking and biking.

Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood
This is one of my favorite vrbo’s. The home is updated with wonderful fully stocked kitchen and nice light throughout the home. Beautiful large backyard with deck and patio. It’s a short walk to the greenway by the Mississippi River which is great for walking and biking.

Tasteful home, gorgeous neighborhood
We visited St. Paul over a long weekend for my sister-in-law's Celebration of Life, held at Macalester College's chapel. The house was very conveniently located less than two miles from the campus, in a lovely neighborhood near the Mississippi River. We walked along the Mississippi River one afternoon, access being very close by.
The home is tastefully decorated and spacious - plenty of room for the five of us. The weather was not conducive to enjoying the outdoors, but in warmer weather guests would be able to enjoy comfort and privacy on the deck and patio. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were top of the line. Beds were very comfortable, and the beautifully appointed bathrooms included toiletries and other useful items – well thought out.
Michael was quick to respond via email prior to our arrival, and by phone during our stay.
I'd highly recommend "Club 139" to anyone wanting a little luxury and lots of space while visiting the Twin Cities.

Otis Avenue Adventure
The house at 139 Otis Avenue is out of this world. Very beautifully laid out, incredible kitchen, and comfy bedrooms, all with wonderful views of the surrounding neighborhood . One block from the Mississippi with lovely walking paths to explore. We didn’t want to leave!

Very Relaxing
The home was very well appointed, kitchen was fantastic. Everyone could be in there and not step on any toes. Very comfortable house for my family, including elderly parents. Was the perfect home base for our visit to reconnect with family. Beautiful neighborhood with walking/biking trails along the river. Quiet and safe. Conveniently located. Really enjoyed my morning walks along the river. Very responsive the few times we had questions. Lovely backyard which we reaped the benefits of the tomatoes.

An amazing home!
This was the best experience we have had with VRBO. The owner made everything so nice. We had to be in town for my mother’s memorial service. He made everything perfect for such a sad occasion. The home is beautifully decorated and spacious. Although we didn’t have great weather, there are 2 lovely outdoor patio spaces. The home is located just steps from the Mississippi River. Great for walking or biking.. it’s also well located to get to either downtown area and to the University. Can’t say enough great things about this home!

We stayed at this property for a family wedding. The house is as advertised. It is a very convenient location and the gathering spaces are well thought out. The backyard is amazing and if you stay in season there are fresh vegetables you can use!

Great location for us in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Home was very nice, well equipped inside and easily accessible. Pictures match the home! Deposit, insurance and cleaning fees seem more than a usual rental of this size, but we were willing to pay for the location. Overall great experience.

Perfect long weekend with family
This property is everything and more. We had a 5+ experience. The home is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. Quiet and safe neighborhood with great walking paths by the river. Close access to 94 to get around town. Kitchen is amazing. We did a lot of cooking and sitting around the bar talking. Smart TV and alexa where great addition. We used the fire table for fun outdoor time. Mike was an awesome host and left tomatoes from the garden for us. We really can't say enough good things about this property. Thank you Mike!!!

This is a beautiful property, with a ton of open space. The outdoor space is just as lovely as the indoor space. We loved the outdoor fireplace and beautifully-lit pergola. Great neighborhood, with easy access to Minneapolis and St. Paul.

It is a beautiful neighborhood, right off the river and close enough to the bridge for a perfect morning walk. Beautiful yard and lots of comfortable seating.
