Nestled in Port Royal, this attractive bed and breakfast for $171 per night is a great choice for your next break. This river retreat can sleep 8 and is a little slice of heaven less than a mile from Parris Island. You will have the chance to sit in the Hot Tub and hopefully see the dolphins feed while you are relaxing or you can sit on the porch and catch a breathtaking sunrise over the water. This is a quiet guest home that has amazing views whether you are coming for a graduation, to relax or enjoy the water this is the spot for you. This is a two bedroom guest home that sits next door to the main house on the property. It has a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, Keurig as well as washer and dryer. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and there is one large room upstairs with two sleeping areas that are divided by the staircase. One of those areas features a queen bed and a crib and the other features a twin bed with a trundle twin bed as well. The couch is a sofa sleeper and can easily be pulled out to maximize the capacity of the home. There is a Gas grill, Komodo Joe Grill and a private dock that you will need to ask before using. If you have a boat that you will be using while in the area, arrangements can be made to leave your boat at the dock for an additional fee.

We came from Louisiana to see my youngest son graduate from Paris Island. This was the most beautiful home, the owners where very nice place was gorgeous. Drinking coffee on the rock as the sun came up. This place is perfect 5 Star we will be back!!!

We were there for my son's Marine Corp bootcamp graduation. It's super close and convenient to base. Beautiful property, love the waterfront. We had 5 people, it was the perfect size for us. We will definitely consider it for a vacation rental in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spending time on the dock fishing, watching the sunrise and watching the tides come in and out. Short drive to Port Royal which is a beautiful spot for walking, a beach, boardwalk and restaurants. The place was clean and well appointed with plenty of room for our family of 5. Highly recommend.

We came for my birthday and father’s day. The location is very beautiful and spacious. We loved the screened in porch for breakfast and quiet evenings. We were able to go to Savannah for lunch and enjoy local fishing and shopping in Bluffton. Hubby caught huge fish in just minutes on a local charter! I also enjoyed local photography in Port Royal. There is an armadillo that lives under the porch that was super cute. Overall it was a comfortable stay and we would go back. Thank you

Shane and his wife were very accommodating and helpful for our family of 4 with 2 young boys beach trip. We brought a boat and Shane gave good tips on where to go fish and how long it takes for the tide to come in when you chase bait too hard up a skinny creek :) (45 mins from dead low on a rising tide for those that are curious). Would definitely come back, hopefully when the Reds are running.

This was our second time staying at a Shalo Retreats property and just as before we were very impressed. Traveling with young children always comes with its challenges and I feel that this house definitely made things easier especially with the glider and crib. The host is very friendly and communication is wonderful. We will definitely be back.

The River house was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The view was beautiful, and the house was plenty spacious and clean. The king sized bed in the loft was very comfortable! We had everything we needed and will absolutely be back!

Shane, the owner was very helpful & made sure we had everything we needed & even told us about a firework show. We had a gorgeous view from the back porch and enjoyed walking down to the dock. A very peaceful,relaxing stay. location was perfect for graduation at Paris Island. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location to relax looking over the water. Brought our boat for the weekend and had water and electricity at the dock which is a huge plus. Shane went out of his way to accommodate, great communication before, during, and after. Really enjoyed the hot tub with the cooler weather. Planning on a return trip soon.

Wonderful waterfront love nest. The property was clean, comfortable, a marvelous location, it had everything we needed. Shane, the owner, went about 500% above and beyond the call of duty helping us at every turn, including backing our boat into his driveway, giving us navigational hints, and waterfront restaurant ideas. Beaufort is a beautiful area, and this house is perfectly located to let us enjoy those beauties by land and by water. The house itself had everything we could possibly have needed, and the air-conditioning was great on a hot summer week! We enjoyed our breakfast on the lovely screened porch overlooking the water. We will definitely be back!
