Loved the property, comfy bed, lots of room, loved the decor, layout, view, pool (no bathroom at pool area) plants/vegetation/flowers are amazing, extremely clean premises, quiet, close to areas of interest, the parrots come in on the palm trees at sunset-spectacular...I only gave it a 4 star rating in some areas because there was no elevator or help with luggage- I have a torn rotator cuff and bad arm... so this took a tole on my body the first and last day. Be aware parking is not good in the morning or night. Make sure to plan ahead.

A nice relaxing condo complex on the island of Kauai.

Beautiful condo near the beach, restaurants and groceries. It is a congested area and reservations are required for most restaurants. Maintenance on the condo was very good. Only 2 issues prevented me from giving 5 stars. The garbage pail was very dirty and many of the beach toys were unusable. Otherwise an exceptional experience.

Property is dated but well cared for. We loved being able to cook our own meals, and walk across the street to the beach!

after a 16 hr trip we arrive to find we can't get in as the door lock was broken.....hours later we get in but it really was a horrible first impression thinking we'd never get access...other than that good value and a nice clean condo in a great location

We really had a great time here. The condo is nice and clean and the room and view is as advertised. We really enjoyed the time and our kids loved the pool. I recommend staying here!

Other than the key code pad breaking on New Year’s Eve, and temporarily being locked out of the condo, it was a wonderful trip, even with several days of rain. Great location, dolphins in the bay, a few whale spouts and awesome sea turtles at nearby Poipu Beach. Amazing!

Spent 9 days at PK322 and definitely appreciated the relaxing atmosphere. Neighbors were friendly, amenities are exactly as described. We especially appreciated the chairs, umbrella, snorkel fins and cooler which greatly improved our beach visits! Beach across the street is excellent for snorkeling and watching sunsets.

This condo is in a great location next to beach and some interesting ruins. Lots of chickens and roosters abound. Ensure that you read the description well as there is no AC, so it was pretty muggy at night, and it was difficult to keep the curtains open as they were fixed where the window vents are located. My main complaint about this listing is the host was not responsive to my message to him regarding the pillows, which smelled REALLY musty. I'm pregnant, so smells can really be a bother and I couldn't stand to sleep with the pillows. I'm sure it was due to no AC and a high humidity environment. However, it would have been nice to get any response from the host as I slept pretty poorly at this location and paid a good amount for it. Otherwise the condo was pretty spacious and had lots of other amenities, just no AC.

You don’t book through VRBO- you have to go through both VRBO and RentalHost so each gets their cut. The app was not working for me in regards to check in. When booking through VRBO a you can always get ahold of someone - Not the case with RentalHost. I sent emails and left multiple voicemails with the property manager. Nobody called/emailed me back. We got lucky and logged into the app on a strangers phone that was kind enough to help us out. The photo of the balcony is inaccurate. Besides poor rental company it served our purposes. The water pressure was pretty amazing. The apt had chairs and beach towels. The pool is charming and the grounds are very clean. The unit as well was clean. Kauai Exclusive the rental management was horrible. But it was quiet and good central location.

We had initially looked into hotels, but ultimately decided to get this VRBO because it was less than half the cost. But we never regretted our decision once! This place is in the perfect location, overlooks the water on a little cove, and has two balconies. We loved having a kitchen, and were also surprised to have a washer and dryer in the unit, with detergent supplied. This was crucial for our muddy clothes after hiking. The building was very quiet, and we barely heard or saw anyone else there. We made sashimi on the balcony with fish from a local fish market, ran across the street for a dip in the ocean at sunset, and even got to stream our favorite reality show on the TV :). Would recommend this place to everyone I know!

Although Prince Kuhio is an older condo complex, we found this unit had everything we wanted. The gardens are wonderful. The pool is sparkling clean. Unit 322 is very well situated to catch great trade winds, so we found the lack of air conditioning was not a problem even on very warm days. This owner has thoughtfully included coolers, beach chairs and everything you might want for a great vacation!

The condo is not “beachfront” but is located directly across Lawai road so from the two lanais you have a nice ocean view. It also overlooks the Prince Kuhio Park & historic heiau and is a few miles from Poipu Beach. The location is great for morning shoreline walks and is within walking distance to the Spouting Horn and Botanical Gardens. There was a small snorkeling beach in front of the nice, but pricy, Boat House Restaurant. The electronic pad door entry was convenient and did not require a key. The rooms are spacious, and have a lanai, ceiling fan and bathroom for each. All the appliances worked, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials - towels/cutlery/ bowls/plates/pots & pans, etc. The owners provided Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a beach umbrella which were much appreciated for going to the beach in the hot afternoon sun. There were also coolers and beach towels for our use.
We are not picky folks but basically this condo is “long in the tooth” and there were several maintenance items that have been deferred too long. (1) The kitchen faucet only produces hot water so we had to get drinking water from the bathroom, (2) The door knob between rooms is rusty and sometime impossible to open or shut for early morning business calls/ or if needed, fire escape, (3) Some electrical sockets did not work, (4) There are some irritating old/broken bamboo beads between the master bedroom and bath, so we hung them on the towel rack to get them out of the way, (5) The master bath toilet frequently required multiple flushes, they did however provide a toilet plunger, and (6) The two lanais provided nice views however your privacy to enjoy them are dependent on your neighbors use/loud conversations.
