This cabin had a very cozy and homey feel with decorative holiday touches since we were there Halloween weekend. Lots of space if you have many people staying; it felt big for just the two of us! Super comfortable bed. Lovely to see birds at the feeders in the morning and the river outside the window. Very quiet neighborhood, very peaceful stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Host communications were helpful, though you will need to refer to their email + the listing + the notes in the house to get a full picture of guest expectations. You will need to use an additional third party called Evolve for this rental.

Adventurous entrance best done in the daylight the first time. Loved the wood stove and the nearby pizza restaurant!! Cute place.

My daughter and her family live a short distance from this property. I was able to have my own "space" but I was still close and my grandson was able to spend the nights.
The house is cute and comfortable. It quickly felt like home. Virginia was responsive and friendly. I will be back.

Loved the area and the view. The farm fresh eggs and bagels were a great touch. My husband and I loved eating outside on the porch and having the view of the river right there.

Wonderful
This property was exactly what we needed. Quiet over the 4th of July for our dogs and us. We truely enjoyed the simplicity of the space and we’re able to totally relax and unwind. Loved it! Would certainly come back another time.

Nice, peaceful, 35 mins from downtown Eugene. Tons of spices and pantry items to cook with. Lots of toiletries if you forgot anything. The bath was amazing and surprisingly hot the entire fill up! The bed was firm, so, comfortable. I slept like a brick both nights actually. There are some board games and DVDs, but the TV has Netflix too. WiFi was strong. Having coffee on the little porch was heavenly! We walked the dog up and down the driveway and peaceful, private neighborhood. Saw a huge woodpecker! I would definitely recommend or stay again. Thanks!

Cute as a button. Warm and cozy. Very clean with every comfort of home. Previous comments about the driveway are exaggerated. Typical stone driveway with easy navigation. Actually makes the cabin more cabiny. Strongly recommend.

This house was perfect for us. Great location and a bonus of wild blackberries on property! Even though it rained most of the weekend we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

While this home is functional, the way it was depicted was quite deceiving starting with the pictures. It is actually a poorly maintained place, dusty and very dark.
The deck which we were looking forward to enjoying is barely usable for 2 reasons: the railing is moving so somewhat unsafe, the home is quite noisy being right on the main road with continuous truck traffic.
we were also disappointed by the letter sent the last day indicating that people had smoked marijuana inside the home to warn us for potential allergies, the fact that the driveway was damaged (you need a 4x4 to be safe on the driveway) and also threatening us to call the police if we were to take even a towel.
All and all sorry to say but i would not recommend anyone staying at this place.
One positive note, we did enjoy the hatchery which is a mile down the road

Virginia and Carrie could not have been more accommodating Fun time! Fresh chicken eggs and Bagels were provided too! We would visit again👍

Loved the lush setting overlooking the Mackenzie, and the thoughtful touches from the host: bagels, fresh eggs, bathing toiletries for the claw foot tub, and a piano (we even learned some chords while there:). The cabin was comfortable for my husband and teenage son, and the setup perfect for our dogs. The noise from the road can be a little loud at times but if you can deal with that, it’s a lovely place to unwind.

The driveway is quite steep and just took some getting used to. The weather was great and people were friendly. The fire damage was devastating to the area but did not detract from the surrounding beauty. Listening to the frogs at night added to the wonderful experience.

I stayed here with a few friends and our pup to celebrate my partners birthday. The cabin was an absolute dream. So many charming, homey touches! Virginia was a wonderful host. We'll be staying here again next time we're in town:)

I needed a place for myself, my daughter, and my granddaughter to safely recognize my daughter's banner birthday. This totally fit the bill. We didn't tour around much (except I totally recommend checking out the covered bridge about a mile away.) We stayed home and read, played games, and ate birthday cake. This area had recent fires and you could see some of the damage driving in, but the cabin was unscathed. I recommend this place if you're looking for cozy and comfortable and a place to get a different view for a little while.
