3 Bedroom Batch + Sleepout with Kitchenette. A hidden gem, nestled on the edge of the river with a gorgeous outlook. Has it's own jetty with direct access to the river for kayaking and swimming. In a quiet cul-de-sac just walking distance to clubs & town. Large deck great for entertaining OR maybe just a quiet spa overlooking the river listening to the birds. Maximum of 10 people allowed. Strictly No parties please. MAIN HOUSE INCLUDES: 3 x Comfortable Queen Beds, Samsung Smart TV, Wood Fire, Fan Heaters, 1 x Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Nespresso Coffee Machine, F&P Washing Machine, Gas BBQ, Outdoor Furniture, hot/cold Outdoor Shower, Spa Pool. , Unlimited Wireless Broadband Internet. SLEEPOUT INCLUDES: 1 x Queen Bed, 1 x Combo Dble/Single Bunk, 1 x Bunk set, Kitchenette, 1 x Fridge, TV, Bathroom accessed externally, undercover chill out area with Ping Pong Table. Fully Fenced, Carport, 3 x Car Parks, includes direct access to jetty & 3 x Kayaks. (Note: simple plastic trellis type fencing on the river boundary). Sorry no Wheelchair access. NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to tidy the house and do the dishes before you leave. Well behaved pets considered on application. Please request booking with the details of your dog age/breed etc. PS: If your pet is happy sleeping on the deck or in the lounge on their pet bed then they will be happy here. No fur babies on the furniture or beds please. Bring your own Linen ie: Sheets, Pillowcases, Towels, T-towels. Strictly no parties please.

We really enjoyed our week long stay at the property. It was really well setup for our group with a large sleep out that could fit the teenagers and friends and a spacious main house that didn’t feel cramped at all when it came to dining time with everyone in the same space. The highlight of the property is the outside deck area which has a beautiful tree shading a large outdoor dining space, gorgeous view over the river and spa pool for the evenings. It’s a comfortable walk to town and the beach is also walkable although we tended to drive there as we didn’t want to carry gear. Overall a great spot and was perfect for the three generations of our family to stay.

Love coming back to this little slice of paradise. The view is stunning and the property is well equipped with a great interior style. House with sleepout set up ideal for two families or those holidaying with teens. Private jetty for canoe access kept the kids entertained for hours. Great location. We love it!

A great property away from the hustle of Whangamata, but close enough to the action (town/beach both being within walking distance) when it suits.
Loved the setting by the river/outlook for evening meals. Great for family reunions. Having the two separate lodgings works well. Spa pool, kayaks & bikes were all made use of.
If you’re looking for a Kiwi Bach experience, or a rustic retreat, this is a great set up. Being able to take our geriatric dog with us was a real blessing too!

Overall impression really great outlook very relaxing place to stay and wind down.
Rooms were a bit old musty smell and not aired out when we got there but all good second night.
Comfortable beds plenty of space.
Spa was clean and great to hop into after the day out.
BBQ was not clean but after cleaning it all good.
Need to reposition the clothesline as was tricky parking the cars but still plenty of parking for the cars.
Would stay there again.

This is an awesome property. It deceptive from the front , just nestled in a suburban cul-de-sac but around the back is a gorgeous vista stretching across the river and into the hills. There is everything you’ll need here , styled so beautifully. It was great for our group with 8 teenagers! The sleep out is a fabulous setup complete with table tennis kit. So close to town they could bike , skateboard or walk. The spa pool was the clincher though. Just right for the rainy days we’ve been having this summer and to warm up after a dip in the ocean

I don't really want to say too much, else someone else might book it when we want it. Awesome location, not far from town and beach. Great facilities and heaps of extras provided and heaps not used; bikes, table tennis, kayaks....and the list goes on. Very comfortable for the number staying and a the sleep out was great for the older boys to have their own space. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, amazingly well appointed property. Looking out over the estuary from the deck you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, not 10 min walk to the centre of town! The spa and kayaks were the icing on the cake. Definitely recommended.

This property is beautifully decorated and inviting. Lots of room for our extended family of 8 plus dog. The spa pool and fire made it the perfect winter getaway.

We had a lovely girls weekend at this house, it was clean and modern, it has a nice wood burning fire and a great deck with a spa.

We are super happy to have stayed at this property it was everything we could of asked for, clean tidy spacious short walk to town with great private morning views . I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay again .

Wonderful wilderness and amazing outdoor living
A helpful and friendly host. A clean, well appointed and enjoyable house with an amazing deck ...and, what a view!! A paradise playground for kids - the wetlands and river! All day sun, privacy and hot tub.

This property offered so much and was a surprising delight. It is located in a quiet area, with awesome views and a short walk to town, the wharf or the beach.
The decor is beautiful and relaxing, and we enjoyed the fire for the chilly nights. The lounge, kitchen and deck also provided lots of space for our big family to gather in for cooking, eating and playing games together. The games cupboard was well utilised, along with the spa pool, kayaks and ping pong table.
The sleepout is surprisingly roomy and a great area for teenagers or adults who enjoy a bach feel and the quiet away from the main house. It has plenty of beds, a kitchen, and a small dining and lounge area. The outdoor toilet and shower are also a great idea.
All in all, this property delivered more than we expected and we absolutely enjoyed our weekend here.

Lovely stay
Great weekend away with friends. From the street the house isnt very exciting , but step inside and it's lovely, comfy, and you feel a million miles from anywhere. Spa and fireplace great for a winter break. Well equipped kitchen too.
Heaps of space, though we didn't use the sleepout at all. Would be great for 2 families, or a family with teens.
Only niggle was we couldn't seem to control the elements on the stove top - thermostat needs fixing I think. Also should have bought along some speakers to play music.

We had a lovely stay at the accommodation.
The owner was easy to contact and communicate with. She answered any questions immediately. The property had a beautiful outlook of the estuary and had plenty of things to do including bikes, kayaks, spa pool. I would definitely come back or recommend to friends.
