Lovely hostel

Clean room, clean sheets, clean updated bathroom with hot water, good working wifi, accommodating staff checked me in at 1am and communicated well. Well designed room. No complaints. Nice room area and common room. Communal kitchen.

Poor Staff, bad attitude! can’t speak English yet rude!

Decent bed, cupboards with inbuilt locks and keys, bedside light, and free breakfast which was okay.

The person at the reception office downstairs was pretty rude! it’s a hostel, better speak English if the guest can’t speak Hindi than mocking them for not speaking Hindi! ऐसा करने की क्या जरूरत थी? Bathroom floor doesn’t have the slope so water stagnates after shower and the area turns into a little pond and gets super messy. No toilet paper in the toilet. Dirty kitchen sink! Right besides my bed there was a gap against the door with chunks of dirt! haven’t been cleaned in a while! If you are to run a hostel at least get someone who can speak basic English and not someone with attitude!

Quite and Peaceful

Decent property located in a peaceful locality. Rooms are decent size and property folks are polite and helpful. Great service. Overall it's decent Value for Money.

Nothing as such ...just that taking cab from this place to anywhere in early or late hours may be bit tricky.

Very disappointing

Hot water

Room smelled a bit funny. No toilet paper and old feeling towel. Private rooms near to staff kitchen which is loud in the mornings. Felt very cold at night (there in December). The free breakfast is pathetic. Difficult to communicate with staff - seemed very confused when I arrived to check in and needed to see my app to know when I was leaving? Only cash accepted. No knowledge of things to do, very little interaction with guests... When I checked out, the man immediately started picking out earwax from his ear WITH THE ROOM KEY, I was horrified. No vibe -- hoped to meet people by staying in a hostel, despite wanting a private room. No group gathering even for new years eve, was sad. Location not the most convenient for sightseeing or shops/restaurants, though Lucknow isn't that big so it's not a huge problem.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from here!

Private room was clean and comfortable.

The staff were rude and unwelcoming. As I arrived, they looked at me although I shouldn't be there. Once I showed them my booking, instead of saying welcome, they immediately asked for money (no pleasantries). As I didn't have enough cash for payment at the time (it was 9pm and they do not take card apparently), instead of giving me the next day to pay, a staff member put me on the back of his scooter and drove me around to several atms to get cash. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. He was rude and only interested in getting paid. After paying, I asked for food recommendations, and I was ignored multiple times. To my surprise when I checked out the next day, the owner of the hostel cancelled my booking and notified booking.com that I had never checked in and should be charged again. He relied on the information that the staff member on duty told him. I had to send the owner photo evidence of the room I stayed in for him to believe me. This was unacceptable. It appears that something dodgy is happening at this property. Stay here if you want to feel unwelcomed. Worst service and professionalism in all of India.

Confortável e limpo!

Os quartos de 4 camas compartilhados tem um bom tamanho, armários individuais (mas não nos forneceram as chaves, vale perguntar), com colchão confortável e roupa de cama limpa e nova. Luz e ponto de carregador individuais.

Os banheiros poderiam passar por uma renovação. O sinal de internet não funcionava dentro do quarto, apenas nas áreas comuns

Good place for the price but out of the way location.

There was some confusion ( on my part) about the type of room that I booked. The office was very nice about it and gave me a different room. I was very comfortable in my room.

1), This property is a bring your own TP. I've never heard of that before but fortunately I had some with me. 2) The breakfast is SOOOO spicy. I couldn't eat it. 3) You are in a bit of a food desert. It was really hard for me to find food. 4) You can send them all of the messages that you want. There is about a 5% chance you will get an answer. 5) While I was there, there was a thief also there. This is not the fault of the hostel but they knew about it. Not sure if they did anything about it because they don't answer questions.

Short trip in Lucknow

Room furniture was well constructed. Staff was friendly. I had check out at 11 am, but they permitted me to wait for a few hours in the common area till the time of my flight👍🏻

Perfect Hostel Stay in Lucknow

Location is great - few kilometers from Hazrat Ganj Metro station, main market hub and close to old Lucknow Property was super clean, white sheets, AC , washrooms were clean with body showers and shampoo available Common area was also air conditioned with TV and kitchen on the side with balcony. There is no lift to take your luggage but staff is super generoud to take your luggage all the way up Wahrooms are separate and common but gender convenient and in safe enclosed space

Definitely this is your place to stay if you are in Lucknow

I think this is one of my favourite hostels, simply because of the beds. Even though it's a dorm, you can actually enjoy sleeping on a normal bed. Plus a Community kitchen. Mukesh was really helpful.

Location is a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom could be better if you compare it with the rooms.

The amenities, location, service, cordiality, food, proximity to Hazratganj and other Central locations of the city. Excellent locker facility with keys. Hangers for clothes. Facility to wash and dry laundry on the terrace. Regular change of sheets and quilts. Well maintained bathroom.

Poor

I booked twin economy bed but when I reached there they refused to allot me bed in twin economy saying that they don't have any vacant bed in that & the app (booking.com) is not updated about their availability. As it was too late (12:30A.M) & the location of the place was a remote area so I didn't find it worth arguing them rather found a bed to sleep. Staffs were not so friendly so plan your stay accordingly.

it was freezing in Lucknow at the time we visited, a heater would have been great. also, keys were missing of the room. but it was okay. and our luggage was safe.

best option in Lucknow for budget travelers with certain level of comfort

hospitality, location, clean, dinner etc

toilet paper could be available, ear plugs could be offered for sale or as a present, breakfast could have wider options, room could be possible to lock - but ok no problem just an idea where to improve :-)

Calm area

Moisture stain in wall, a lot of mosquitos in the bathroom. The room was sold in Booking with breakfast included, but the hotel didn’t prepare anything. They suggested corn flakes with milk when we asked about the breakfast…
