NEW LISTING WITH NEW OWNER! We have owned and managed gulf front property in Destin for over 20 years. We have enjoyed sharing our properties with our guests. Our guests have made priceless memories with their families and friends over the years, which they have shared many of those memories with us. We have recently relocated to the Pensacola area and were ready to invest in property on Pensacola Beach. We chose Portofino Island Resort due to the location, beautiful condos and the full suite of amenities offered. We purchased this Sky Home in October 2019. The view upon opening the front door is why our condo is called a Sky Home. From the 18th floor, you will see unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico! This is the "first impression" that won us over on our purchase. Portofino consists of 28 acres located on a pristine stretch of nature preserved land bordering both the Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil waters of the Santa Rosa Sound. In addition, enjoy direct access to several miles of federally protected sugar white sand beaches, complete with the renowned emerald green and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. On a daily basis our guests can enjoy the Gulf beach, Santa Rosa sound, and federally protected Gulf Island National Seashore Park ALL within walking distance! The condo includes an open floor plan featuring spectacular Gulf views, allowing breathtaking views from every room! Beautifully furnished 1,333 square foot Sky Home with a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in guest bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. TVs and DVD players in each bedroom as well as in living area. The condo has all the luxuries of home. In addition, there are 2 RESERVED PARKING SPACES in the covered garage for our guests. Additional parking outside at the ground level is available. Last but not least are ALL the amenities offered by Portofino Island Resort. Below is a list of what is offered: -Each tower has a large outdoor pool with hot tub, umbrella tables, chairs and sunbathing lounges, in addition to restrooms, -5 Rubico (clay) tennis courts, -State of the art fitness gym located in the Lifestyle center, -Indoor heated pool located in the Lifestyle center, -2 Outdoor infinity pools with hot tubs outside the Lifestyle center where you can sit poolside and enjoy food and drink service right at your lounge chair, -Full service Spa in Lifestyle center, -Gift shop in Lifestyle center, -Starbucks in Lifestyle center, -Coastal restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and fine dinner dining in Lifestyle center, -Portofino al Fresco is a casual outdoor restaurant in Lifestyle center, -Cobalt poolside bar in Lifestyle center, -Rental of bikes, scooters, kayaks, surf boards, paddle boards, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas all on the property, -For additional fees, there are more adventures for families to enjoy, and -Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and surrounding areas are close by to enjoy with your family and friends! My husband and I enjoyed this unit so much. It has the best gulf views. The rest of our family stayed throughout the resort for a wedding we were there to attend and the complex was more than generous to over 40 of us.. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay at this Portofino condo and did not want to leave. The view is amazing. The owner is very friendly and responsive. We love the facilities Portofino offers and it makes it possible to have a great time whether at the great pools, beach, spa or workout facility.

We stayed 3 nights in a two bedroom condo. The condo was beautiful and spotless, the view was amazing. We had plenty of room to sleep and play games and spend time as a family and the beach was beautiful and easy to access.

Condo was as advertised in all respects. Only problem was ice maker in fridge seemed to freeze up on third day and stop ice production. We would rent again in future.

We stayed here for our 7 year anniversary. The location is quiet, but close to dining which is what we were looking for! The condo was very spacious and the views of both the ocean and bay were amazing! The sunsets were breath taking. Looking forward to returning next year!

We loved our stay at Portifino Island Resort. After a long day at the beach, we were so happy to come back to the condo to rest and relax. It had everything we needed and the personal touches like the welcome wine and snacks were so kind and thoughtful.
We found ourselves on the balcony a majority of the time. WOW! The view was perfect as we could see a nice stretch of the Gulf side of the island and a smaller but beautiful view of the sound side. The tower is so close the Gulf side and is such an easy walk. It’s also close to the trolly stop. I was afraid that the walk from our tower to the Lifestyle Center and Sound side would be a hike, but the resort is laid out in such a way that you can get wherever you want with a short walk. We hardly left the resort at all! We didn’t use the tower pool but it always looked clean.
The Lifestyle pool was busy but still enjoyable and the waitstaff made sure we had what we needed. Overall we loved the condo and resort so much and will definitely be back!

Portofino as always is great, beautiful beaches, multiple nice pools. Well furnished condo, equipped with coffee maker, full set of dishes and pots, just wished electric grill on the balcony worked.

Great view and comfortable bed. It was nice to see and hear the gulf waves from the balcony.
The wine and basket of treats were a very nice welcome.

The properties at Portofino are lovely, close to the beach, have stunning views, and are well designed for beach goers. This unit is on the 18th floor and has gorgeous views of both the beach and the sound from the balcony. The beach is just a quick walk across the street. This end of Pensacola Beach was quieter and calmer than the sections close to all the attractions, which was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment has tile throughout, which is perfect for this environment. The kitchen is well stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil you might need (though there are no spices, including salt and pepper, so bring your own!). We were here on a less crowded week of the year, so can’t say what it’s like during peak season, but overall, this was a lovely location, and we would definitely stay here again!

We've rented at Portofino 4-5 times over the last 15 years and here are the pros and cons.
Pros: Great location, beaches aren't crowded during the week. Breathtaking view. Peaceful, Great staff ( very accommodating and professional). Nice welcome accents in the unit; chocolate, bottle of wine, snacks, etc.
Cons: Local traffic on weekends is a nightmare getting anywhere to eat or off/on the island. Towers are starting to show their age. Our unit wasn't very clean, the guest bedroom needs a new mattress and certain pieces of furniture need replaced.

We absolutely loved our stay at Portofino and especially this unit. The owner took great care to make us feel welcome. The beds were super comfy and the view was amazing! I loved the layout of the condo which allowed access to the balcony and views from both bedrooms and the living area. The resort itself was well kept and the amenities were awesome. Plus it’s right on the beach! We did the dolphin cruise and saw TONS of dolphins. My daughter was ecstatic! The wine on the counter and the snack basket were such kind and generous touches. All around an amazing stay! We will definitely look up your destin property too!! Thank you so much for a wonderful place to spend our vacation!

We rented Karon’s placed last year and enjoyed it yet again this year. The view is simply spectacular; beds are comfortable; there’s lots of room to relax; and the kitchen is fully stocked with every imaginable item you need. And the beach is so terrific.

The resort ammenities are second to none on Pensacola Beach. This condo is well maintained, beautifully furnished and has some of the best views of the Gulf and Bay areas. You will not be dissapointed with this property. Book it if you can!

Perfect beach location between Navarra Beach and Pensacola Beach. May not be able to see sunrise or sunset from the patio, but the view is still perfect. Only a few steps to the beach to see each. Thank you for the bottle of wine. It was enjoyed. So may places to eat that we were never hungry. We plan to be back in 2 years for another mom/daughter get away

Our stay was amazing. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool. Eating breakfast and drinking your morning coffee in the balcony was my favorite part. The owners are very welcoming. As soon as you open the door you were greeted with nice wine and snacks, thank you for the personal touch!

The condo was clean and in a very convenient location. We were visiting relatives nearby so we did not use any of the resorts facilities. The only suggestion I have is to replace the beds. They are very uncomfortable

This was our 2nd stay at this property and we brought 2 good friends to share the experience of this place (Portofino) and Pensacola. We had a really perfect stay, outstanding accommodations, great location, awesome weather and things to do. Totally enjoyed it and hope to do again in the future. Just love this unit. Thank you !!
