Location was very good, with delightful pub nearby and within walking distance of centre at Bourton on the Water where there was plenty to do. There was a lovely welcome pack of local products to start us off and a children's playground right behind property which was useful. Our host kindly returned a couple of items my grandson left behind.
Only thing that could be improved would be range of cooking implements eg baking trays, dishes as we enjoy cooking and without some of these we had to buy in food or go out which put cost up. Of pans and baking tins provided, they had seen better days! The drawer of the fridge was cracked and repaired with sellotape!

The cottage was lovely with all the home comforts and little extras provided. Beds were really comfy and there was easy access through the garden to a park and lovely river walk for the dog.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a special place with lots of choice for drinks and food in the evenings.
Gemma was really helpful and made the weekend special for my husband's 60th which we appreciated thank you.
Highly recommended and hope to return soon.

We brought our own breakfast. Coffee pods were delicious
It would be good to have had fresh milk . A strainer for milk or tea would be very helpful

very big the conservatory was a lovely
group area. excellent location.
slightly steep stairs to the top - no problem for us but if elderly people stayed might need to make it obvious in the description.

Loved the cottage interior and large space, which was perfect for our group. Place was spotless and the rooms/beds were very very comfortable. Upon arrival we had a welcome hamper and note - a really nice touch. Finally, the location was excellent; a mere 5-minute walk to Bourton-on-the-water centre. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

clean and in an excellent location.
We all thought the beds had very soft mattresses. We noticed the mattress protector was stained when we stripped the bed before we left.
No shade on the ceiling light and couldn’t keep the door closed to the first floor bedroom.
One of the bathroom doors wouldn’t stay closed. just needs a lock added.
No condiments (ketchup, brown sauce, Mayo, mustard) like other cottages we’ve stayed in with Cotswold Gems.
Dangerous getting in and out at night as no light was working to illuminate the sideway and I am slightly disabled which was a challenge.
Neighbour next door commented there wasn’t enough room on his drive for his van, even though we were parked in the correct space, so felt we needed to apologise to him.

lovely and spacious, comfy beds very clean. Lovely welcome pack left for us on arrival too. 😊
If we had to be really picky the downstairs loo had no towels in to dry hands, but a very minute thing.

Spacious and well equipped cottage in great location, within walking distance of Bourtons attractions. Enjoyed good breakfast at guest house over the road. and having towels and toiletries provided as well as bed linen. Made use of good seating area in garden for BBQ, adjacent to conservatory/dining room. Public swings, slide etc less than a minutes walk from back gate. Staff helpful in meeting our needs. Downstairs toilet also helpful and having dishwasher and washing machine, with detergent supplied.
No lock on one of the two upstairs bathrooms. Also no end screen on shower meant floor was easily flooded. Description said fridge, but kitchen actually had a tall fridge/freezer. Would have been helpful to know before arrival for our grocery delivery. The nearby church clock chiming every 15 minutes kept some of us awake at night. Large king bed on first floor was too low and soft for our liking.

Excellent location. Lovely garden at rear of cottage. Cottage very clean and really well equipped. Very good well presented breakfast with excellent staff.
As the weather was so hot at the time of our visit the conservatory dining room was a little too hot for comfort.

Great breakfast at the hotel across the road. The cottage was clean and spacious with nice decor, and is a fantastic location to explore Bourton on the Water. There is a kids play area behind the property which was a nice bonus.
Would be good to have a few smaller necessities such as extra hand towels for kitchen and bathrooms/wc new washing-up sponge, and new cloths to wipe down kitchen surfaces.

Excellent location, beautiful cottage, dog friendly with a very nice garden. The cottage was very private excellent for a group of friends or a family. Breakfast opposite the road was a great bonus.
Nothing really. Our only recommendation would be to supply more outdoor bins for the rubbish as they got full very quickly.

Very nice touch with Cotswold specialty treats and food upon our arrival. Sun room was just delightful, even when it was raining! Very easy to walk to main part of the storybook-like village.
Master bed on second floor very bouncy, not very comfortable.

Fantastic cottage, very comfortable, modern but but cosy. Spacious, great location.
A touch expensive but you get what you pay for.
