I know it cant be helped but the stairs were bad. Really cant drive anywhere to a restaurant. Few things that came up and i tried to get in touch with the property manager but he never got back to me. Otherwise it was nice.

Wifi not working and a lot of dog hair. The hot tub was leaking but worked. The outside grill needs replaced. It cooks really slow

Only issue was the outside run off from septic. Leaking a lot everytime people went to bathroom and ran down to gravel walking path. Smell when at the fire pit but overall great place and great time

We had a wonderful weekend fishing and hanging out with family!

The Eagle Nest was the perfect size for our family of 11. Bedrooms were spacious and the main floor living room was great for gatherings and the lower level sitting room was terrific for the younger crowd to watch movies. The lake location was ideal with plenty of dock space to secure out canoe and kayaks.
Would definitely return to Eagles Nest when planning next reunion.

Wonderful vacation at Eagle’s Nest
Eagle’s Nest was everything I had hoped it would be. Our family of 16 people had a wonderful time. Steps to the water were great leg strengtheners… highly recommended!!

Parking was our only real complaint but at no fault of the house itself.. the neighbors had 7 cars which kept us blocked in completely. Every time we left we could not get back in.. other than that yhe house was just as described

Family Vacation
This is a nice home, and the lake is very nice. The home could use a very through cleaning however, I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Parking is somewhat of an issue also,. But our stay was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay overall. Wasn’t 100% happy with cleanliness but other than that there was plenty of room. Bunk beds didn’t feel secure (top). Again, overall nice place for the amount of people we had.

This house could be great but needs attention. First off, I have stayed in many rental properties but never have I had to put sheets on my own bed, when I arrive. Needless to say I was not happy. Several of the beds had stained mattress covers, pillows and one in particular was covered with pet hair, it was nasty. None of the bedding seemed very clean. The upstairs carpet was simply disgusting and needs replaced. The entire place needs a deep cleaning and new mattresses, they are were not comfortable. We absolutely love the location and fire pit. The property is wonderful for a large group and the kitchen was well appointed but need a few dish towels.

This was a great year end getaway. Very clean home with LOTS of bedrooms. Nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Some steps to the dock but not as bad as most. Nice dock and side deck. You will need to plan ahead with number of vehicles because there is not much parking room with a tight turn around. If you bring a boat you can leave the trailer in trailer parking on Waterfront Ln. I would caution you about using the free neighborhood ramp. It is very steep. We put in at Sugar Hollow Marina. We had a great time at this home. If you have a larger group or just want room to space out this is the place. It is worth checking out.

Property was great. Everything was as described. Very happy and would rent again if dock is repaired. Dock was missing rubber on corner of slip making it difficult to pull in. Cleat was missing and couldn’t tie up outside of slip for second boat. Some minor repairs needed but was very happy with the rest of the property.

The description in the listing was exactly how the cabin was found! The pictures are up to date and show everything. Only problems we had were having to move the dock up (im sure the floods had something to do with the movement) and the beds were comparable to standard hotel mattress (not idea for old and bad backs, and the ONLY reason for the 4 stars). Would definitely stay here again.
Word of caution, don't skip leg day if you plan staying here. Your legs will thank you if you don't.

Overall rewarding experience to spend with family. Only draw backs and most just awareness for future reservations... parking is extremely limited for a cabin that sleeps 20+. Advised there were 3 spots with overflow parking but due to close proximity of booked neighboring cabins, we were unable to get more than 2 vehicles & overflow parking too far to walk with luggage. Resulted in 1 vehicle providing shuttle service back and forth. Also, there is no thermostat to regulate the air/heat on the bottom level. Pack layers.

We had a great time. The place was clean and very beautiful. We were there in the winter and it was quiet, which we wanted. However, in the summer, I bet it is party town. The house is on a row of similar houses and across the lake there are about ten rental docks. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook with. The hot tub was great. The fire pit was all set up for us with fire and kindling (even though I struggled still making a fire, haha) There is not much to the town (like, nothing), but Knoxville is about an hour away and has lots of fun shops and restaurants (more fun post covid). Overall, we enjoyed it!

We throughly enjoyed our holiday at Eagle Nest (Norris Lake) and would rent again in the near future. I was surprise to see that the rental property looked exactly like the pictures.

VRBO failed to send our check in information until the day after our rental started so we had to sit outside of the gate for 30 minutes in a poor cell service area trying to reach the property owner. The house was nice but since we did not get a check in list, we were missing critical items like hand soap for the bathrooms. Personally I think that should be provided. The couch cushions had all kinds of gross things in them and the floors under the couches are obviously never cleaned. Important due to children dropping toys that roll under the couches. These did not affect the fun we had as a family. Overall the house is a great location and a nice setup. These are just things that could be improved.

Place was very nice although we could not use the hot tub due to the cover being shot and water logged. Disappointed my wife looking forward to cocktails in the tub.
