You'll enjoy a great central location to explore the area's Redwood Parks, beaches, trails, restaurants, outdoor cafes and just five and a half miles from Cal Poly Humboldt. It doesn't matter whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or you're just looking for a quiet place to unwind, the charming McKinleyville is the place to be. There are plenty of trails for biking and hiking and the most popular is the Hammond Trail, which extends five and a half miles from the Mad River to Clam Beach. Golfers! Pack your clubs and hit the links at Beau Pre Golf Club, McKinleyville's challenging 18-hole championship golf course, which is less than three miles away. The World's Largest Totem Pole is one of the popular attractions you can find here. It was carved back in 1962 from a 500-year-old redwood tree. The yard outside the property fence belongs to the neighbor and is not part of this home. No smoking, no pets, no parties. No outside visitors to the home. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The house worked well for our family. It has a amazing well stocked modern kitchen. The view from the house is really nice. The master bedroom is huge but lacking much heat. The upstairs bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub. The house is in a very quiet private location. I enjoyed my stay there.

The house was perfect for our large group. It had a great kitchen and it was clean and comfortable. The view from the back deck was wonderful and the place was very private. One of the best places we have stayed.

This is a perfect place for a family. We have 3 teens and the house was a perfect size. It was also in the perfect location to see and do everything we wanted.

We loved our 7day stay, but we’re ready to get back to good ol’ Nebraska. Nice access to the Redwoods, which are just amazing! Also, a nice short drive to some beaches. Loved the house, some of the deck furniture was no so good of shape(chairs), all in all, the cleanliness, location, access to shopping, this was our #1. Thanks

The property was beautiful. Good views, lots of plants and scenery. When we arrived the lockbox for the key was very hard to open. Also there was very limited room for trash. The main outside trash was small and shared with others living on the property. The week we were there the trash outside was never picked up. Otherwise, a great stay.

This house has everything you would want for a holiday with your whole family.Great location,lots of bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, big cozy living spaces and a hot tub with amazing views. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back sometime.
