Location, near the airport and the main roads to the beaches.
Bathroom not clean, foul smell from drain. A lot of ants in the room.

Fine overnight in Santarem
The room was comfortable and clean and equipped with air condition, which is absolutely necessary in hot and humid Santarem. Our doggie also felt very comfortable.
The receptionists did not speak English neither Spanish. Absolutely unacceptable for an international hotel. They should educate themselves or have stuff who speaks a second language than Portuguese. The restaurant has very poor options and nothing special at all. They should also expand the menu and their breakfast to include vegetarian or vegan options. It was really a disappointment.
