It boasts an oceanfront and beachfront location that is just a short walk to downtown. Inside you will find a cozy setting with gorgeous wood trim throughout and a wood stove for added comfort along with everything else you would expect to have you feeling right at home. What's nearby: This house has beach access at the rear of the house and is a short 0.2-mile stroll to the heart of downtown Rockaway Beach. Explore numerous dining options and fun shops in town, visit the International Police Museum, or catch a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. The fishing village of Garibaldi is 5.2 miles to the south where you can pick up some fresh seafood at the Garibaldi Marina. Tillamook is 13 miles south where you will find the famous Tillamook Creamery. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen including dishwasher Dogs welcome If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Five of us were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. You cannot beat looking at the ocean while you enjoy your morning coffee.
Very close to beach access- a little tricky if you are older.
We hope to be back!!

Really loved this spot, and suited me and my 83-year-old Papa very well, as it was a short walk to the beach. We also really enjoyed the views sitting in the living room and kitchen, staring out at the ocean. The only thing that I found, less than ideal, was the very very soft mattress. That did not bode well for my back or my neck after four nights stay. My only request for our location like this is to have a newer mattress that might be a little firmer for most folks, lovely .

Overall an amazing stay and we love this location so much. Great views of the ocean and a great layout. The only thing was it was not very well deep cleaned. Lots of sand in some areas, counters did not seem wiped down well, and lots of dog hair still under couches, and extra blankets.

Enjoyed our visit. Nice views from the house and deck. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pans etc. Shower head in main bathroom needs replacing. Other than that enjoyable stay.

We only were able to stay 2 nights in our road trip but was well worth it. Place is right on the beach and was very peaceful listening to the ocean especially at night. Would definitely stay again if in the area again but would stay longer.

Loved the cozy family atmosphere, however there was black mold in the master shower and base board fell off on the guest bathroom. We plan on returning next year.

This was a perfect little cabin for us. Location was ideal. Easy walk to grocery store, restaurants and local attraction stores. Beautiful view of the ocean being right on the beach.
Kitchen well stocked. Lots of towels, extra blankets. Fans in every bedroom.
I might suggest a shoe tray for the back door as there is always sand coming in on our shoes even when we wipe them off. It’s a beach! :)

The location can’t be beat- beautiful views of the ocean and steps from the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was clean. Comfortably fit 6 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog and was well supplied for a 3 day visit. I would stay here again.

As others have mentioned, the location and views are exceptional. From the main living area the ocean is right there! Everything is comfortable and the layout is great. The home was clean and Vacasa was quick to respond when we had a temporary internet outage (not a house issue). We would definitely stay here again! The four star rating is only because it's not luxurious and the bathrooms, kitchen, and carpet are pretty dated. But honestly, that worked fine for us!

The house itself was nice, but the windows on the Oceanside of the house were filthy! We actually had to clean them in order to see out of them clearly.

It's not right that we have to pay a cleaning deposit and we still have to clean. Also some instructions on how to use the DVD player would have been nice. We couldn't figure it out.

I loved the location. Being right on the beach and the view was beautiful. Lots of fun things to do in the area like crabbing at Kelley’s. Super fun. We rated it low due to the overall cleanliness of the home.

The view from the house and the location obviously can’t be beat, but the house is in desperate need of new carpet. I noticed in previous reviews that others mentioned the urine smell and that Vacasa responded that “the carpet had been shampooed,” but no amount of shampoo could cover up that smell. It’s particularly strong in the upstairs bedroom, but the smell travels to the main living area, too. Also similar to other reviews, Vacasa needs to update the e-lock entry instructions, as they only provide the code but not that you hit the check mark after nor that you press the logo to lock the door. So: come for the view and fantastic beach access, but be prepared for the stench.

The View of the ocean was spectacular! Woke up to a splendid view of the Pacific the next day! Sun even poked out each morning for a few hours! The cabin has a nice cabin feel w/it’s open high beamed ceilings and wood paneled walls. Central heat is good for the cold. Only drawback was I could only find 1 frying Pan, medium-sized. Maybe a small one and large one could be stocked?

The location of the house is perfect. Right on the beach. Home is a little dated but cozy & was ideal for 8 ladies to enjoy a weekend together.

Great beach location for fall. Windows are great to view the beach and waves. Right next to public access so may be less private and an issue in summer. I thought the flowered floor in bathroom was carpet but actually linoleum. Rugs in entry would be helpful.
Crab crackers would be helpful.

The house was amazing, the location was prime and the weather was amazing! All in all, fantastic house and great town. Vacasa made the whole stay worry free and smooth as silk!

Horrible 30 year old shag carpet. Scary ugly and afraid to go barefoot outdated and poor overall maintenance..ie screen door fell off due to dirt in tracks,water turned orange collected in bathroom windows, no washer an dryer, ceiling fan in operable, cabinets dirty,handrails sticky, patio furniture plastic and cracked no beach chairs towels or toys, no working water off patio to wash off sand but there was 2 faucets..just not working. I had to buy candles due to musty or urine smell in house. MOld in shower door tracks. Complicated tv system with no instruction. Poor quality overall home was barely tolerable in our opinion. The access to a quiet beautiful beach was great…and made our stay but would not recommend unless you lower your standards.

The view was fabulous. Just steps to the beach was convenient. The furniture was newer and comfortable. Plenty of seating. After a long day on the beach, the smart tv was good to relax. Loved the retro style and all the wood. Nicely decorated too. The house feels loved. One draw back and one star deduction is the house runs hot. The ceiling fan did not work. The thermostat stayed at or above 71 (71-80 degrees in the house) Help Center was not any help. Screen doors would be a nice touch. Overall nice cabin with a good location. I’d stay again. Thanks for sharing your house with us. We enjoyed our stay.

Every year my sisters and myself get together for a little reunion. We are aged 72-57. We enjoy being in one place, going out to eat, doing a craft of some sort and just being together.
Our stay in Rockaway was perfect. Comfortable place for each to sleep. Wonderful walks on the beach, excursion on the Tillamook railroad, and a great space to comfortably sit and chat.
The house was perfect and navigating the website to schedule our event was easy.

The view is amazing. The house is set up beautifully. Everything you need. Markets are close by. Shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance. Access to the beach is right off the back yard. Private and open.
