It is the view over Villefranche Bay that is exceptional

Whilst it was OK for us, without a car, there is a steepish climb to the apartment

Location is superb, once you get a handle on where to park the car, if you have one. Beautiful view with balcony and easy walk to train, beach, restaurants and shops. Whilst compact, the apartment has everything you need and feels secure with key tag access to the building.

Bed unfortunately wasn’t very comfortable and the pillows were a shocker. They need to invest in a new bed and pillows which would make things so much better! There was also a light in the corridor by the lift that came on occasionally and shone brightly through the bedroom window, waking us up, as the curtains are way too thin and didn’t block the light. Need proper light blocking curtains. Was also no hand soap supplied, which is a basic we think as that’s the first thing you need to do when you arrive after travelling. If they just fix these things it would make this apartment really excellent.

The view of the ocean was exceptional. It was quiet.

The apartment was very basic lacking many amenities and with no AC it was very hot. We were not aware of the steep climb up a long hill to get to the property. The taxi could not go up there. Also while it is close to the train station it is again a very steep hill. This would be a very difficult property to access unless you were very fit. The other downside is that we had to take a taxi to a downtown office in Nice to pick up the key from a lockbox. Then take the taxi to the property quite a ways away. The lock box should have been on the door at the property. While the view was lovely the juice was not worth the squeeze so to speak!

The view was outstanding and the location was perfect. Very close to both bus and train.

Had to make extra stop in Nice to get keys. Host didn't highlight proximity to bus and train. Also extra $600 security deposit was a surprise. Overhead light in bedroom did not work. Instructions for using TV and cook top would have been nice.

The view and the sea breeze were the best. The bus stop to get to Cap Ferrat and Monaco was just upstairs at the top building entrance

Wish the double bed had been separable and that there were air conditioning in the bedroom

the view, the nice climb to the apartment, the equipped kitchen and bathroom. all in all a good place to stay if you want to visit the area.

we didn't find the apartment in a very clean state (it might also be because of those staying there before us). there were bread crumbs on the table, the floors were not quite clean. the brooms in the closet were full of dust and hair, so you can't really use them. the dishes were not very properly washed. some soap in the bathroom would be useful. the tv didn't work (the cable receiver rather, but it might be because the remote batteries were out). some attention to minor details could really upgrade the place.

I answer as honest as I can so other visitors can get an idea of the visit. Take into account that we travel as a family and we are active family. The staffs were vey nice and gave detailed instruction and very responsive. The view is worth the hike up. This i will remember and the breeze of air is very good. Place is clean and toillette is modernized there are improvements that can be done, and I can suggest a few things. Maybe they need someone to align the decorations as right now its all mixed up w colors and maybe carribean theme. Other items juat doesnt match well. We like that there are Umbrellas we can bring to the beach and also a mat for the ground. This is very very nice. The umbrellas were a bit old but it helps under the sun for sure!!

The hike up everyday can be challenging. It is 5-7 minutes away from beach and maybe 8-10 from old town. We didnt mind it but during summer it can break a sweat even if you find the shortcut. Also having to get the key from Nice was an extra step before going to the appartment was a hassle especially when travelling with kids. There was no AC, we were there 5 nights and have to keep the window open all night and the frint door open to keep the breeze on. Once you take this into consideration and dont mind the hike up on the return then this place is a wonderful discovery. One last thing ,we have stayed with 4 more other places in this France trip, this was the only one with security deposite, it was just interesting to see but maybe some guests have not been as nice thus they require it
