Recently updated Vermont ski home located off of the access road to Stratton Mountain with hot tub, four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two fireplaces, brand new washer and dryer, and large entertaining space. Vermont is beautiful in all seasons, not just winter. Come to see the leaves change in the fall, take part in Wanderlust in the summer or enjoy golfing and mountain biking in the spring. Great restaurants and shopping in nearby Manchester. Ample parking. Driveway fits four cars. House has pack and play, baby gate, toddler bed and portable baby seat. The full kitchen includes dishwasher, toaster oven, and Keurig. 5 minutes to Stratton Mountain 16 minutes to Bromley Mountain 19 minutes to Magic Mountain - Please note plowing will be done in the case of snow, but owner cannot guarantee the time plow service will arrive at the property. Shovels and sand are provided. This home is located on a mountain and driveway is slopped downward so be sure your vehicle is equipped to perform in wintery conditions and has appropriate tires. - Please note that for your safety this property features multiple exterior cameras. They do not look into interior spaces.

My friends and I had an amazing time! There was everything we needed and more. Host was very responsive and detailed with instructions. We all had a very comfortable stay! We will be back :)

Awesome house, great host. Good communication, fair price. Highly recommend- our band stayed here with our wives/girlfriends while we played 2 days at Stratton.

A group of friends and I rented this ski chalet for a winter weekend exploring southern Vermont and the views and location did not disappoint! The house is well-appointed and comfortable. Allison was very responsive and covered all the pertinent information needed for check in/out. Highly recommend for anyone exploring southern VT ski mountains (right on Stratton!) or the area in general.

It was too cold to ski one of the days we were there and this house was the perfect place to spend the day. It was spacious, clean, and cozy.

Had a great time at this house for the second year in a row. House had everything we needed and was a short drive to the base lodge and town. Hot tub views can’t be beat!

Allison was more than accommodating working with our check in and check out process. Could use a few additional bowls and plates for bigger meals. Wood stove on the first floor is a good touch for that Vermont winter warmth. Awesome views of Stratton and Bromley. Great spot to relax in the hot tub and watch the sunset over the mountains.

Everything was as expected and Allison had efficient communication. Would recommend.

The property was mostly as advertised. It contained the advertised amenities and was enjoyable for our group overall. The check-in process was easy and the owner was communicative. That said, the property was not especially clean. There was dog poop on the porch, the bathrooms had not been cleaned, and there was a large amount of trash left in the front of the house (preventing our group from placing all of the trash in the bins).

Winhall Ski House near Stratton Mountain
The property was mostly as advertised. It contained the advertised amenities and was enjoyable for our group overall. The check-in process was easy and the owner was communicative. Very much enjoyed our stay at Ruh House. Minutes from slopes and family room and hot tub were excellent.

We started our stay with a rocky start as the heat was not working from a frozen and burst pipes as well as no hot water. Alison was very responsive and quickly remedied the situation! She was able to secure HVAC and plumbers to come over promptly and heat was restored by early evening. Thank goodness as it was a very cold January weekend...the rest of our stay was great. The house is only a few miles from Stratton so easy to get to the slopes and village. The driveway and plowing were a non-issue. It's not too steep. And it did snow while we were there and snow removal was done.

My family stayed here for New Years weekend and had a great time! The description is very accurate. The house is short drive from the mountain, the living rooms on both top and bottom floors are very specious, and the hot tub was perfect for after a day on the mountain. A great place to stay for skiing families!

Everything was just a little harder than it needed to be - biggest example is that the driveway (which is on a hill) wasn't plowed, and we couldn't get out, even with a 4WD. Only the kindness of a neighbor was able to get us on our way. The hot tub didn't work properly, towels were left in the dryer for us to find, no coffee maker, etc. Just a lot of little issues that made this a less than great experience.

All you could ask for in a VT mountain getaway
Allison's property came exactly as advertised - breathtaking views and a homey live in feeling. We loved spending time on the deck during the day and cozying up inside at night. This is the perfect place for a medium to large sized group who is looking to be up amid the trees.

Perfect location and cabin
We rent throughout Vermont to try to find the perfect cabin/ski experience. This place didn't have many reviews, but I have a feeling it will be booked in years to come.
It's right down the street from Stratton will accessibility to the gas station and market. The village has plenty of restaurants so you're covered there.
We actually cooked both nights because we found the cabin to be very cozy for our group of 7 and didn't want to leave. Plenty of couches in the living room and basement for relaxing.
Also, I'm not sure there's a better view in the area.

Great ski house
Sip your coffee while looking at both Stratton and Bromley, come home and have the group play cards around the table and fireplace. Really nice layout. Good value. Owner was readily available although we really didn't need them for much.

Amazing Ski House
This is an incredible ski house. It is only 5 minutes to Stratton mountain. The house has a huge living room with a big tv, solid internet, a workable kitchen and a lot of bedrooms. We were only a group of 4 but this place can easily sustain large groups. The owners were very responsive to messages.
Fair warning, if going in winter, a 4 wheel drive car is a MUST. The driveway can be a little tricky at night.
