Excellent location, especially for the price. The Trolley was a very pleasant surprise. Very well equipped as advertised. We were in need of an allen wrench and sure enough we found an entire set in the bookcase drawer. So handy to have a large refrigerator and microwave. We did get to meet LaVeda's husband and he was very nice. There were enough pots and pans to feed an army. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The home itself was beautiful, and every room was decorated with care and style. It was clear that the owner had put a lot of thought into creating a space that was both comfortable and inviting. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. This property could not have been nicer! Great private location nestled in a beautiful area close to the beach! LaVeda, our wonderful hostess, had everything you could possibly need for your stay. This guest house is beautifully updated and comfortable. King bed was a plus! Great shower and kitchen. Highly recommend!

Everything top notch. Location right across from beach. Place is exactly like the pictures. Quality interior. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with all you need. Loved having the ground coffee stocked on arrival. Washer and dryer with detergent. Bed creeks loudly when getting up, but mattress good and the linens and pillows lovely along with quality bath towels. Everything was beautifully appointed and so comfortable. Best part of our stay was the hostess. Great communication - she kept us informed as hurricane Ian swept through before our arrival date. We stayed 3 weeks and had such a delightful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I had a wonderful week at this cozy, light-filled guest house. I am a long-time visitor to Siesta Key, but I decided to try Lido Key when I found this charming property. The owner responded to every question within a few minutes and was always gracious. It is no surprise that the property is booked solid until May 2023. I highly recommend the guest house, the larger house on the same lot and Lido Key itself.

I really liked this bright, clean, cozy property and would definitely rent it again. Fantastic location for beach lovers like me! The Owner was very responsive to my questions.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location was perfect...a short walk to the beach access, St Armand's Circle and the Community Pool. The city offers a free trolley ride from 8am-12am to downtown Sarasota and this was located just 5 minutes away. The property owner has the apartment set up very nicely with special soaps and other toiletries which was such a special touch. There are plenty of beach gear, beach buggy and bikes that are shared among renters in the main house. All you need to pack is your swim suit for this trip! We love Lido Beach and all it has to offer.

The location is amazing. Comfortable walk to St. Armands Circle for restaurants and shopping, the beach is even closer. There are kayak tours that launch from the park just another short walk. Literally everything was a less than 10 min. walk away. The property is perfect. My son is 10 and loved the cool loft with the ladder for his room. The kitchen has everything you need. Laveda also had all of the beach supplies you could want downstairs. She even had a tandem bike! My son loved our bicycle for two ride around the neighborhood and said it was his favorite part of his trip!!! We will be back.

Went for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! Location to the ocean and all the down town shops was exactly what we wanted. A great place to relax and shop. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I reserved Laveda’s vacation rental for a 10 day stay on Lido Key. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, conveniently located to all the cool activities and restaurants St Armand’s has to offer. She even had beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, and bicycles available for us to borrow. We had a chance to briefly chat with Laveda while we were there, super nice lady. Can’t wait to come back next year!

It was a very short walk to the beach and had everything we needed. Well stocked on supplies and had several options for the beach including boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. The beach was a lot less congested and it wasn’t as commercialized and busy as Siesta Key. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And would definitely stay again.

A lovely, nicely decorated, airy apartment with everything you will need for a few days spent close to the beach and a ten minute walk from town. The hosts were ever responsive to all my questions. I would give this place my highest recommendation!!

It was our pleasure to find this Hidden Gen and stay here. It exceeded our expectations despite reading all the wonderful reviewsl. This gem was immaculate, lovely and quaint and we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in (our home away from home for4 days). LaVeda thought of everything to make her guests comfortable and content... from the leather reclining loveseat to the flat screen tv with many channels, from the comfortable king size bed with the comfy sheets to the awesome kitchen fully stocked for cooking a meal, from the roomy bathroom stocked with lots of linens to the many high end supplies like soaps lotions and medicine cabinet things like sun screen! In the garage was anything you could want for the beach including chairs, an umbrella, coolers, boogie boards and even 2 bikes with locks! There was a small washer and dryer in the large closet (filled with angers) in the bedroom. The location was perfect-a half block from the beach, a 10 minute walk to St Armand Circle with many shops and restaurants.. We frequented the Circle daily plus there is a free trolly that takes you there as well as the length of the key. We walked to the Drift at Lido Key Resort at the end of our street for Easter Brunch. It's on the 8th floor lined with windows and a beautiful view of the beach. The location was perfect for us to explore neighboring keys like Siesta Key Beach, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. A perfect place for our perfect getaway. We would definitely love to return here to escape some of our New Your State winter! Unfortunately our Hidden Gem is not so hidden...it is booked Jan -April for the next 2 years!!! That tells us LaVeda has a lot of guests that love her place! ;)

Perfect location, 5 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to town with shops, restaurants, bars, super clean property with EVERYTHING you may need for your stay, including beach chairs, coolers, bikes, umbrellas…cute patio for morning coffee and reading, and nite cap at end of your evening, my daughter and I had a wonderful week together, this was our best rental yet , PERFECT!!

We were looking for a quick, easy get-away to the beach and we found it at LeVeda's guest house. This stay exceeded our expectations with a very comfortable and clean living area, close stroll to the beach, and all the amenities we needed for an amazing vacation! Full kitchen of cookware, loaded bathroom of shampoo/soap/towels/linens, big flat screen tv with reclining leather couch, beach chairs/umbrella/cart/floats, and a convenient parking spot. We will definitely be back for another very comfortable stay!

We stay in Sarasota as often as possible and Lido Beach has always been a favorite of our family. This unit was just lovely, quaint, so well kept and so perfectly stocked! Proximity to the beach was perfect, the beautiful garden was a great spot for a morning coffee, washer and dryer, all the TV channels and private parking all were great! We will definitely return!

LeVeda’s place is so cozy I instantly felt so at peace there. She has everything you will need even if you are there for weeks. This place will stay on my radar for next time I’m in Florida. And it’s in a quiet location but also walkable distance to St Armand’s circle and Lido beach. It doesn’t get much better then this. Enjoy!!!
