If you are looking for a comfortable stay with beautiful views of the lake and gorgeous sunsets, this is it. Minutes from Wineries/Breweries, Golf Courses, Restaurants and more! Cozy, farmhouse style cabin right on beautiful Clearwater lake in Annandale, MN. This lakeside retreat is located on a quiet, tree-lined road, providing an “up north feel.” This 1930’s cabin has been freshly updated and is the perfect spot for you and your family or friends to relax, make memories and focus on the important things in life. Sip your morning coffee while overlooking the water or drink your favorite beverage while enjoying the stunning sunset. Follow us on Instagram @sunset_haven_mn There are 2 bedrooms. The first includes a queen bed and the second includes a full bed. There is also a twin daybed with a trundle pull out bed. There is 1 bathroom that has a tub/shower combo. Sleeps 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots/pans, and a coffee pot. The water is from a well, however we have installed a RO filter for cooking and drinking. The dining room faces the lake and seats 6. There is also a table and chairs in the seasonal porch to play games or hang out. The laundry room has a washer and dryer and plenty of storage space and hooks for your things. There is a patio overlooking the lake that has a seating area and fire table and picnic table. We also have a charcoal grill. We have a dock if you would like to bring your boat (via the public access). We also have a paddle boat you can use. Plus a 6’x12’ inflatable Paddle North utility dock is available to rent (please inquire). Sorry, no campers. Please bring your own life jackets, sunscreen and beach towels. The lake has a hard sandy bottom for swimming and is popular for recreation and fishing. It has a restaurant, bait shop and boat rental. There is also a bar and grill within 2 miles. The town of Annandale is 7 miles away and has a grocery store, restaurants, shops, coffee shop, pizza delivery place, 3 golf courses, churches, parks and more. The town of Clearwater is 9 miles away and has a restaurant, grocery store, coffee shop and more. The cabin is located 1 hour west of the twin cities and 30 minutes south of St. Cloud. We know you'll love it here!

Despite the record heat, we had a great mini vacation. We have three kids under 4 and they loved playing on the dock and with the paddleboat. The hosts were fantastic, quick with communication, and turned the AC on before our arrival so we didn't melt! Only wish was that it was a bit more swimmer friendly right off the shore. Would visit again!

Perfect get away to cabin that was clean, in a good location with beautiful sunsets. Wonderful time with family and friends and hosts were very responsive.

We arrived from Arizona to visit with family in the area. We enjoyed the wonderful sunsets and the lake. We found that the best way to enjoy the lake was to rent a pontoon boat at BJ marina. We love our boating, swimming at a sand bar we found, and close family time.

It was exactly what we anticipated. Mostly quiet except for a few homes down from us played music fairly loud a few days. The view was great and peaceful. Paddle boat was pretty dirty so we didn’t use that. A few kayaks would have been nice so we could fish the flats. Otherwise had a great time.

The weather wasn’t awesome, but we found a lot to do in St Cloud to keep us busy and enjoy a laid back getaway.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay! It was close to the lake, so we enjoyed watching the different kinds of water fowl. The sunsets were beautiful, just as described! It was a nice quiet area and the cabin was very nice with everything we needed.

Small rustic cabin. Well stocked with almost everything we needed. Loved that it was right on the water and also very quiet neighborhood! Would love a cabin here. Walking was very safe and everyone so friendly. Beautiful sunsets also.

A very cute and cozy house. We wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the lake more (it rained the whole time!) but the views from the kitchen were awesome! The house was nicely decorated, plenty of linens, towels, etc. The hosts were super responsive and kind. Would highly recommend!

The lake house was perfect for my annual fishing on Clearwater lake. Clean and cozy and only a few steps from the private dock and our fishing boats. It was great 👍

We came up for a long weekend with our 2 kids and my wife’s parents. The sleeping arrangements accommodated the 6 of us very well. We had great views of the lake and loved being close to the water. The lake was very shallow in most areas and I would say was very difficult to enjoy being a novice boater. The fishing was slow but the weather was great. Neighbors were also friendly and helpful for input on the area.

Really enjoyed the sunsets and the firepit. Nice selection of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. Only drawback is that the lake is very weedy, but the water is crystal clear.

We love this property! This was our second straight year renting this cabin over the 4th of July week. It was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views of the sunsets are top notch and breathtaking. We loved spending time on the water fishing and swimming from the dock - we rented the Paddle North raft this year and it was a hit! We also rented a pontoon from BJ’s Bait and Tackle across the lake which was very convenient. The lake is great for recreation - we had fun pulling up to the sand bar for a swim or jumping off in the middle of the lake. The outdoor gas fire pit is very handy for a quick and easy fire. The neighbors welcomed us back with open arms - so friendly! And Jason and Melanie are so helpful and attentive, and jump at the chance to help if anything is needed. Wonderful all around!

We had such a great time here. The cabin is super cute and well taken care of. The kids enjoyed the swing and we had a great time with the rented floating dock. Best of all was my experience with the owners. They went above and beyond multiple times for us, even helping us get something that we left behind. I would definitely recommend!

Clearwater Cottage
The cottage is clean and comfortable. It has just about everything you need. There is brand new looking washer and drier that came in handy. The boat launch is directly across from the cottage so in no time you’re having fun on the water. It’s a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The cottage has a beautiful sunset view.

Relaxing Lake Getaway
We were looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway relatively close to the Twin Cities and this lovely little cabin on Clearwater lake certainly delivered! We really enjoyed the propane fire table for a relaxing evening with little effort, but also used the wood fireplace one night so everyone could have smores and pudgy pies. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed, and Jason was very helpful when we inquired about the best place to top off the gas in our boat (there is gas at the marina at BJ's across the lake FYI). The lake was lovely and the structure is well set up for fishing, with tons of VERY steep dropoffs right next to very shallow (2-5 ft) areas. For this same reason, it's probably best suited for boaters looking to fish or slowly tour around rather than someone looking to spend the afternoon cruising around at higher speeds. We loved the slower feel and also spent a fair amount of time kayaking and paddleboarding with the kids. It was a great weekend and we'd definitely consider staying here again!
