I live in the Twin Cities area so if anything comes up I would definitely be able to be present at the property! Nestled along the Mississippi River, Northeast Minneapolis extends far back into a thriving industrial oasis. The area is an embodiment of old meets new - perfectly combined into a melting pot of change and preservation where cobblestone streets meet newly paved roads. New businesses, often local, open their doors next to historic shops and businesses while residential neighborhoods continue to grow as a city-wide hot spot for calling home. Wherever you go you will never be far from a restaurant, brewery and/or distillery. With a food and drink scene as innovative and diverse as the generations that live there, Northeast is prime for spending your free time in - morning, noon and night. Discover the best of Northeast Minneapolis Northeast's neighborhood can be divided into two main sections: the Arts district and the Riverfront district. Both bring a unique flavor to the area and make it one of Minneapolis' favorite neighborhoods to explore. If you're looking for local art and locally made items then you'll need to make a stop in the Northeast Arts district. This is where hundreds of artists call home and where you can visit multiple open art studios and galleries. The area is filled with diverse businesses, including all along the popular Central Avenue, showcasing the best and most authentic international dishes and cuisines. You'll also find some of Minneapolis' must-try dining experiences: Psycho Suzi's, Betty Danger's (and their infamous ferris wheel), as well as newer hot spots like Young Joni and Hai Hai. The Riverfront district is your best bet for stunning views of the downtown skyline. You'll be lead into this part of town by the Hennepin Avenue Bridge where you'll also catch a glimpse of the memorable Grain Belt Beer sign. Since it sits right along the Mississippi, The Riverfront district is all about spending time outdoors. Boom Island Park is a beautiful place for hiking, biking and picnicking. And don't leave here without taking a stroll through Main Street, a charming walkable area filled with restaurants, outdoor patios and shops. A group of friends and I stayed here over the weekend while we were in town for the Taylor Swift concert. This property had a great location, was very clean and spacious (fit 6 ppl comfortably). We would stay here again! Also, very nicely decorated.

Lovely property. Clean and bright. Nice location. A few small items: more silverware needed. One bed sheet missing. Would have liked a coffee maker vs. a french press. Nothing was a big deal. We'd definitely stay at this property again.

This place looks much fancier than it is. The "fully equipped" kitchen is quite bare and needs to be reviewed and restocked. We stayed for a week and planned to cook daily, which was difficult with minimal cooking tools- the apartment lacks simple things like salt, or a dish sponge which we had to purchase ourselves. Plates and cups are plastic, we could find a total of 4 regular forks, knives are dangerously dull. All kitchen items were nothing above cheap IKEA quality. Kitchen floor was filthy under the stools and in corners. Beds are cheap, noisy, and uncomfortable. Linens and pillows are cheap. Furniture is only fine. The shower is nice but the temperature is fickle and and we ran out of hot water every shower. One night the heat didn't work, and the next two days it went to 90 degrees by morning. The toilet was running nonstop upon arrival and after texting Matt, he came by the next day and said the toilet needed to be replaced, and to manually turn off and on the water to the toilet with every use. To make up for this inconvenience he waived the pet fee. There are strict "quiet hours" in place here because you can hear everything, with 3 total apartments in this building which were occupied with changing guests throughout our entire stay. One of these nights there was an especially loud party with 20+ people in and out of the house, loud music, marijuana and cigarette smoking, and people showing off handguns to one another. After texting Matt, the party was vacated within moments, with the lower tenants running out and leaving the apartment and building doors open which we did not realize until the morning. For this inconvenience, Matt offered a refund of one night but I was only refunded about $50 less than that. This apartment turned out to be 20% more per night after crazy Vrbo fees and taxes. There was zero snow removal here, being the only house on the street with a snowy sidewalk. Matt told me I could salt myself when I asked about it. On the last day, our car slid out of the unshoveled, icy driveway into a pole and cracked the bumper, which we needed repaired before the long drive back home. I believe there are better options at this pricepoint and left here quite dissatisfied. There is potential for this to be a great vacation home if it was given more attention and investment. It comes off as uncared for and a lazy way to make money off people impressed with the professional photos.

Old house lovers will swoon over this Victorian-style home and it’s original stained glass, French doors, and eyebrow dormers. Great neighborhood with restaurants and shops a quick 2-block walk away. Pro tip: there’s a back staircase that is adjacent to the parking area for easy load/unload.
