About this house rental
Nestled in Slaughter Beach, this attractive house for $442 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to Slaughter Beach! This is a charming beachfront cottage offers easy access to the beach. Complete with three bedrooms and one bathroom, beautiful light and open kitchen and living area with a separate dining space. This home features TV, WiFi, washer & dryer, and off street parking. Owners have some beach chairs and an umbrella available for use. Bring your kayaks, paddle board and bike! Property does not offer these items so don't forget them! Bay Avenue is a biking friendly quiet street. The back patio Adirondacks are perfect for enjoying the view of the bay during the warm summer evenings. Sleeps up to 6 guests and pets are always welcome. We accept reservations on a "first come, first served" basis. Ideal Property Solutions handles multiple vacation properties throughout Delaware. During the busy spring and summer seasons, please allow 24-48 hours for a response. Ideal Property Solutions accepts payment through VRBO/HomeAway. Deposits are due with your signed contract within 10 days of making your reservation (Half of the full balance due). Final Balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. Thank you! Guests to provide linens, towels, blankets, paper and soap products, but feel free to reach out for a quote if you would like any of these items provided for you. Guest to sign an agreement to follow rules & policies. This home was so cute and cozy…perfect for the 4 of us (room for 2 more). The beach was just steps away and the lounge chairs made it relaxing to enjoy the view any time of day. We used the grill and had a wonderful day just staying around the house but also traveled to shops, the casino, Rehoboth boardwalk and many good restaurants in the surrounding towns. I wouldn’t change a thing and we hope to visit again!

House was perfect for our family of 4 and small dog. The deck with loungers overlooking the beach was our favorite place to be and the peace and quiet was perfect

I absolutely loved my stay! The sunrise views were amazing! A quick trip down the road to view sunsets! A quiet beach and warm water! What more could you ask for on vacation. Especially loved that I was able to bring my dog and she absolutely enjoyed the water. The steps to the beach were a bit wobbly, but I let the property manager know and she was quick to respond. The house was well cleaned and way more spacious than I anticipated. Just a note for future renters...The front yard had some mosquitoes, but with the marsh across the road that was not suprising and our first day we had biting flies at the beach. I knew about the possibility from other reviews, but always good to mention so others are prepared. I cannot wait to coming back! Thank you for a great pet-friendly rental! They are hard to come by.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property for our summer vacation. The house is small but worked well for our family of 4. Appliances were in good working order and it was nicely stocked with household essentials.

We had a wonderful at this house in Slaughter Beach. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials to start your visit. Very cute house, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Quiet and peaceful location and views to die for. The beach is a little rocky, so bring sandals or water shoes for the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

We were a little disappointed that there were kayaks there and not available for use. When questioned after arriving I was told if we brought our own oars and life jackets we could use them. Not mentioned in the listing.
Honestly I don't think the house was cleaned before we arrived, if it was it was not done very well. There was hair, human and dog, on the floors and in the bedding. Refrigerator and counters needed wiped.
Location is great for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The flies were bad but that was expected.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage on Slaughter Beach. The house was exactly as it was pictured - clean, well appointed, and with plenty of space for just the three of us. The views are absolutely amazing, and it was the perfect way to relax, simply watching the ships go by on the horizon. If there was a sea breeze from the bay, the small, quiet beach was perfect for getting some sun and relaxing. If the air was still and it became a little too humid (or buggy), we jumped in our car and visited the larger beach in Lewes just down the road. I’d also like to thank the associates at the property management company. We had one minor issue that was immediately resolved with a phone call (and they checked in to make sure that we were happy with the resolution). Our visit was nothing but two weeks of rest and relaxation, on the beautiful Delaware Bay. We’d love to come back and highly recommend.

It was beautiful and quiet! No activities but walking on the beach collecting rocks or sea shells.

This bay cottage was lovely. Clean, updated, and quiet. It looks tiny, but it is quite spacious. We had a great time relaxing with our pups. I'll happily stay there again and recommend to friends.

House was quite small but nice, and the beach was great. The check-in process did not go smoothly and the property manager was not particularly engaged or responsive. She never sent an email with check-in instructions. I messaged her the day before check-in and the day of and called the day of and heard nothing. Finally had to call VRBO and spend 40 minutes on the phone before they finally got in touch with her to give me the check-in code. During the say she emailed me twice about a "rental contract" she told me I had to sign, but when I asked about a couple of issues (racoons in the garbage and what to do with garbage when I left in light of that being one) I heard nothing. House was not particularly clean upon move-in, but it was basically fine. But the house was well-put together and the beach was quite nice and uncrowded. Overall, glad we rented here.
