The house is quite large. It is located on a quiet street with several houses that appear to be occupied by working families. The bedrooms are roomy. The guest rooms are minimally furnished but acceptable. The pool is a courtyard pool. The house surrounds three sides of the pool and a half wall is on the fourth side. The pool is screened (known as a pool cage). Not much room to set up a lounge chair in the sun. We found the best place for sun was in the pool so we purchased inflatable pool loungers. The pool is solar heated making the pool usable while we were there in March. The house has an intercom system - including a pool speaker - with a built-in radio. We found a great local station and had the radio on whenever we were in the pool area. The Smart television had a digital antenna as well as a service similar to cable (connectivity through the phone company) that I believe uses YouTube TV. It provided many of the usual cable channels. It took a few days to understand how to use it. The kitchen has an adequate supply of dishes, pots, and pans. We would stay there again.

The home itself is great! Master Suite is phenomenal--bed was very comfortable! There is no cable TV--but streaming with Fire Stick is available. We were not real familiar with that, so sometimes had difficulty finding shows/programs we wanted. (Only one TV in the home) Pool is solar heated, so early in our stay (February), it was a little cool. We ended up buying a large tarp and covered the pool every night to preserve the heat - I think that helped a lot. The kitchen is rather sparsely stocked. Location left a lot to be desired!!! Proximity to grocery/other shopping was a bit more than we prefer but all in all-not too bad. Despite some of the negatives, we did enjoy our stay here!!!

Overall this home is exactly as the pictures show. Convenient to Ft Myers surrounding areas. House was well equipped. But the area in close proximity is not the greatest. I would not have taken a walk in the neighbourhood at night! We had great communication with Jennifer, the property manager early in the month but by the middle of the month when we had an issue with the water softener, she became MIA and to date we still have not even had an acknowledgement that she is receiving our messages! Because of the issue with the water softener the water had a very foul smell for half our stay. We ended up leaving the property a week early as we couldn’t take it any more. When I messaged (both text and thru VRBO messenger on the app) the property manager still did not respond and to date has not! Bottom line the house is beautiful no question but basically you’re on your own if anything goes wrong!
