Regarding the room, was perfectly adequate for my needs. Occasionally a bit noisy late evening but is to be expected being the room was above a pub. The road noise was acceptable to me. If you want peace and quiet, this is not the place to stay.
The pub food was excellent and the landlord and staff I met were very friendly.
Nothing I really did not like. Shame no breakfast was provided at the venue. But not a big deal breaker. Looked like some renovations has occurred. However further work is required to improve visually.

The ensuite was a little rough around the edges but was without doubt perfectly nice.

Walked in and was greeted by Connor who was helpful and friendly. Taken up to the room good explanation of the facilities. Room was clean and large. Beds were nicely made and folded towels on them. (very comfy too) great internet tv internet was good too. Nice touch with the quality shampoo and soap in the bathroom lovely hot powerful shower.
Difficult as good price for what you got but if I was going to be picky
1. Toilet seat was too small for the toilet worked fine but not the right fit
2. Techno music being played at 930 at night (although it lasted about an hour and I believe was turned off I had passed out by this point)

Just about everything. The room was OK but the rest of the pub is run down and scruffy. Food pretty awful

Breakfast was not available. Mc Donald’s not far away as well as usual out of town shops.
Lunch and dinner were although we didn’t try it.
TV wasn’t working but rectified soon.

Unfortunately it has a contract with the council to house prisoners on licence. & They had the cheek to charge a King's ransom too. Avoid at all costs.

The room was fine. The meals were good. Connor was friendly, Charlie was helpful and the chef apologetic over problem with our first meal.
On Sunday night after closing, there was a loud row possibly in the bar with raised voices and banging. Later that night a male voice was heard loudly speaking in the corridor outside our room and continuing outside under our window. A dog was barking in the apartment opposite our room. There were no other guests so the disturbance was caused by a member of staff who lives on the premises.
We would not stay there again, despite the positive elements. An undisturbed night is of primary importance.

Bathroom need some TLC. Could be noisy, room above the pub, but worth money.

The room was pleasant and clean good location for us .Nice to have a bar area serving food if you wanted to use it .Lovely big bath with hot water and the towels smelt beautiful.
Unfortunately the bed springs were noisy. My partner said it was like sleeping on a musical instrument. We found the dog barking a little annoying but it didn't bark during the night so that was a bonus.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. We were given everything we could possibly have wanted and more. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Network TV and free internet and easily connected. I'd rather book here than a big chain and hope to come back again.
