It is a nice cabin. More residential. There are two places with in 25 feet of each other. The fireplace is not usable. No fire pit to use. There is a dock but there is a 12 inch drop of to get to it. I have a bad knee so I never went down. Bring camping chairs so you can sit out back. Cobwebs in the kitchen window. Dead ants stuck on backsplash.No blinds in main part of house so when you get out of shower you need to dress..All patio cushions are piled in front of fireplace and if you use them you have to put them back. So you get to stare at them while relaxing in living room. You are also asked to take towels in washing machine in basement. It's about 20 steps so my husband had to take them down. Trash has to go in bin with strap, but couldn't find one. The worse though was all the beds were dirty, hair and sand. We found a fitted sheet and made the best of it. Contacted management and they called the next day to see if we still needed sheets, no apologies. All the cabins we rented this was not what we hoped for. It would be nice to see the rental agreement before not after payment.

Enjoyed our stay at this lake home. Best part was the large screened in porch to enjoy meals, conversation and hanging out with family. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The cove at the lake during this time of year was quiet and perfect for watching the sunsets and having our girls play in the water. Very comfortable stay. I’ve seen a few reviews about the adjoining home; however we had plenty of privacy and did not bother us at all.

Great house and location on the lake. Check-in was easy, house was very clean. Would recommend staying here.

My Family and I stayed for 10 days and it exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect. We spent more time outside on the dock and on the lake than in the house. The owners were very responsive and answered every question I had. They even checked on me while I was there to see if everything was going well during our stay. I would highly recommend staying there. Thanks again for letting us stay at your piece of paradise!!

House and property are beautiful. Would recommend! The only thing that wasn't described in description was that there is a second home on property that the owners stay at. This made it feel a lot less private due to close proximity and sharing of dock. Other then that, it was a great place to stay!

We celebrated my 60th with our family and had a marvelous time!!. This house, done in rustic industrial on a beautiful spot on Lake Blue Ridge, met all our expectations and more! The downstairs provided a great place for games tv and just hanging out for our teens. Comfortable beds and all you need to rest up for lake adventures. Beautiful dock with room for our boat, kayaks and lake toys provided a great safe spot for swimming and lingering on the lake. Swimming, tubing, wakeboarding and sunset cruises filled our days. Everything is close by, yet you feel like you are away from it all. Awesome neighborhood and the town of Blue Ridge is delightful. Courtney was very helpful and responsive. Definitely a do over!! This home, right on Lake Blue Ridge, was perfect for our visit. (5 adults) Living space was nicely decorated and functional. Loved the spacious deck. The path to the dock was well defined and lit. We enjoyed the dock area and the noodles provided!! The steps to access the dock from the lake were amazing! The owners were responsive and helpful. We would definitely return to this home.

We (family of 5) just came back from a 2 week stay: we loved everything about it! Amazing sunsets! The owners own a smaller cabin just behind the rental one for their personal use. The communication with the owners before and during the stay has been always timely, accurate and friendly, via VRBO messages and emails for detailed check-in and check-out information. The property was as described and the pics were accurate. The cabin has been recently fully renovated and is nicely decorated. Parking is plenty in the driveway. The cabin is over 3 levels: on the main floor the 2 BRs (one has no closet) share a BA with sink and shower (no en-suite BA but that didn’t bothered us). The loft has 3 built-in queen size beds and a BA with sink and shower. The basement has a large entertainment area, BA with sink and shower and washer and dryer (no BRs). New furniture, new mattresses (very comfortable) and new kitchen appliances (gas range with 5 burners, large fridge, very silent dishwasher). WiFi speed met our needs (Netflix, video conf). Hot water was plenty. A/C worked well. The floating dock (recently resurfaced) is less than 1 min walk on a slight incline path. 2 jet skis slips were available. We docked our rental boat overnight on the side of the dock (there are 2 cleats, 14 ft apart - the covered slip was taken by the owners boat). The aging gangway will be soon replaced by a new aluminum one. During our stay, the water depth at the dock was 7+ ft close to shore and 10+ ft on the opposite side. Be aware that Lake Blue Ridge's water level varies seasonally! There were 2 Adirondack-style chairs and 4 patio chairs available on the dock. The aluminum ladder to get in/out of the lake had large comfortable steps. The cove was very quite, even during weekends, with very little wake. The dock of the house next door was quite close but the neighbors were very nice and everybody respected each other privacy. The location is very close to the only Marina and is a 5 min boat ride or 15 min drive from Lakewood Landing (boat ramp) in Morganton. If you are new to Blue Ridge, I recommend stopping by at the Visitor Center to get useful information on all that Blue Ridge has to offer. For groceries drive 5 extra minutes to Ingles instead of stopping at Food Lion (bigger store with better choice of produce, meats, etc). Many thanks to the owners for sharing their wonderful lake cabin with our family! We will be back!
