Plenty of space to stretch out. Walking distance to general store and fishing creek.

Most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The technology is updated. And yet, still has a rustic camping vibe. Tons of entertainment in the cabin. Quick & easy direct drive to Mariposa Grove. General store at entrance to neighborhood. Fine dining 5 minutes away. Kitchen has everything one needs. Laundry works well. Shady porch is serene.
Only frustration was not getting responses to our few basic questions. Took 24 hours or more, and multiple attempts.

Property met our expectations and beyond. There is lots of room in the cabin and everything was as expected. Ice cold A/C. It is about 45 minutes to Yosemite valley. We left the cabin by 6:30am and found parking easily on weekdays. Property is great!!

The cabin was great. It was a holiday weekend, so I really had no desire to go into the park. I literally stayed at the cabin my entire 4 day stay. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Great time at Fish Camp
We really enjoyed our stay at Fish camp. The property is 2 miles from the Yosemite entrance and Maricopa Grove. The house was roomy and spacious with a wonderful deck to spend time on in the evening after a great day at Yosemite.

2 miles from Yosemite South Gate. Quiet and in a lovely setting.
Deck the length of the house and approx 10-12 feet wide. When we were at the house, we were on the deck. Since it was a 2nd story deck, it felt like we were in a tree house. The kitchen is well equipped and up to date - we did all our breakfasts and dinners at home and ate on the deck. We also used the gas grill 2 nights.
The individual bedroom standing air conditioners were very effective and kept us cool. (although night time temps were in 50's and 60's). The cabin's decor was "piney-woodsy," very appropriate for the location. I do not think we could have had a better accommodation for our family of two parents (in 70's) and two daughters (early 40's). Would definitely recommend. Wish we lived closer.

Yosemite adventure a success!
6 of us stayed in this charming cabin, 3 moms and our 3 sixth graders. We had to get creative for the sake of our 6th graders and recreate their school 6th grade Science Camp (since they had to miss it due to the pandemic). This large cabin was the perfect solution for our group. It was very clean, had all the amenities, fully stocked kitchen, soft sheets, ample room to either spend time together or have that much needed alone time, as well as a great location for our daily Yosemite adventures. The Chalet in the Pines checked all the boxes for our extended weekend getaway with our 6th graders. What a memorable trip!

Clean, good location & nice
We had a great time
A better non-sounding bed frame in the lower bedroom will make it perfect for a quite night sleep

An outstanding stay
What a wonderful stay we had! My sister and I and our 3 kids stayed here to re-create an earlier visit to Yosemite when our kids were small. This was everything we wanted and more. Very close to the south entrance. Clean, cozy and comfortable. A wood burning stove with wood provided! We wish we could have stayed even longer and we look forward to returning.
Cheryl, the property manager, is ridiculously responsive - getting back to me on my one question within 2 minutes! Highly, highly recommend this property.
