WELCOME TO MAGGIE VALLEY! This renovated Chalet sits just above the Maggie Valley Country Club/Golf Course and is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ranch, and Lake Junaluska. We love the short-range mountains views off the front deck, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as the proximity to area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at our Chalet. The Chalet has a comfortable, large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with tons of natural light flooding in. Quiet and peaceful, yet close to all area amenities. Paved drive, large parking area with a car port…great for parking motorcycles! Primary Bedroom: King Bed with full bath| Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Four single beds OUTDOOR LIVING: Expansive Porch, Seating Area, Fire Pit (free firewood!). INDOOR LIVING: Woodburning fireplace, 55" SmartTV in living room, 50" SmartTV's in two bedrooms. KITCHEN: Fully equipped and stocked, Dining Table Seats 6, drip coffeemaker, dishwasher. GENERAL: Laundry machines, central air/heat, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries. FAQ: Free high-speed WIFI PARKING: Paved driveway (4 vehicles) and car port. Other things to note: In addition to the nightly rate, the following fees will apply: $135 Cleaning Fee (includes extensive cleaning and turnover) 11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes. The house was perfect for a thanksgiving get away to the mountains! The house was well equipped and comfortable. There were games and books in abundance for all ages. The furnishings were great.

A comfortable home in a good location. Spend time inside with the fireplace or go on walks with beautiful surroundings. Golf nearby (Maggie Valley C.C.) & easy access to Lake Junaluska & Waynesville.

Why was Settle Inn perfect?
1 - Drive way and road up to the house were very flat-lander friendly. We understand that when you come to the mountains, you have to expect hilly driveways and roads. However, this was very comfortable on our nerves.
2 - Location struck just the right balance of ease and privacy. We were just a few short minutes from many locations including Maggie Valley and Waynesville; and a mere 30 minutes or less from Asheville and Sylva areas. The location of Settle Inn afforded us much more privacy than you would expect given its proximity to town.
3 - The house was very clean and comfortable with a wonderfully cared for yard and flower garden area. The furniture was very comfortable and the front porch was so inviting that we spent many hours enjoying the view and the garden. Also, the house had blazing fast internet!!
There you have it. These are the reasons we want to go back to Settle Inn the next time we go to Maggie Valley!

This was our first trip to this amazing property, but not our last. Fabulous hosts, amazing location, well appointed chalet, with all the comforts of home. All VRBO properties should be this nice, professionally managed, comfortable and clean!!! We loved every second of our 4 night, 5 day stay.

Second stay here. We visited for family ski
trip. Although would love to stay in summer too. I really love the cabin and hope to return. Family friendly for sure (including puzzles and games etc). While not a big house it is really well designed with tall ceilings in living area complete with probably the best possible real fireplace. And they provide all necessary for comfortable stay (usable kitchen washrooms ets.). Exactly what we look for on vacation - a place that is comfortable and has some character. We let our kids stay upstairs and wife and I stayed in on level master.
Very comfortable and communication with host was A+.

For the last 10 years, we usually visit the Maggie Valley Club area twice a year. Our first stay in this house but it will not be our last. Definitely one of the best. Great layout, well equipped, convenient location, everything maintained and owners very helpful. Thanks for offering your home for rental.

Location: This cabin was an ideal getaway. It was located in a quiet area, but close enough to have access to everything we needed.
Cabin: This cabin was very clean, organized well (everything in drawers and cabinets marked), and provided many amenities. It was very easy to locate anything we needed. The cabin is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The front porch was a nice place to sit and have a meal, with ample seating.
Outside: There was an open carport structure that was ideal for protecting our motorcycles. The firepit in the yard was the perfect place to relax and roast a few marshmallows at night.
We all very much enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting that area!

Annual Motorcycle Trip
This property was exactly as represented online and was a perfect location for our annual motorcycle trip. The driveway was a little tricky for our motorcycles, but after a couple times we perfected it. Really enjoyed the fires and the owners providing firewood.

Great weekend getaway
We stayed here for a truck show, it was close to the location, beautiful views, and the cabin itself was amazing! Would definitely stay again!! Very clean, reasonable price, owner was great to work with! We had a great time!

Felt right at home
We wanted a last minute ski trip and prefer to stay at places that become part of the trip memories. The host was prompt at in responding to our reservation request and check in was super easy with laid back but available host with easy information printed and everything throughout home was easy to find and or labeled. Basics are available and appreciated.
We really enjoyed our stay. If I could add one thing I could it tell from listing is that it is located in a nice neighborhood but up a steep hill that provides nice privacy and a little view. Hope to return again.

Perfect mountain getaway
We took out 10 and 8 year old to Maggie Valley to snowboard / ski for the first time and The Settle Inn was much better than expected. First, I've never stayed at a VRBO property with such sharp knives. Perfect kitchen for cooking and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and as a father, I liked how the master bedroom was on the main floor and guest bedrooms upstairs. When we return to Maggie Valley, I'll definitely be searching again for The Settle Inn!

Great property! We were snowed in a few days and while we didn’t get to ski we had a great time. Owners checked in on us via text the whole stay. Can’t say enough about our experience and the care of the home owners. We will return again!

Wonderful home, clean, well organized, great location. Only problem is heat was restricted to 69 degrees which kept house cold. For winter guests, I would suggest increasing to 72 degrees.

Our Mountain Trip
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is furnished very well with everything you need and more and is always clean. It is in a very quiet location and close to shops and restaurants. I have stayed at this property several times and hope to stay again in the near future.I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great house and location
This was the fourth time we have stayed in the area using VRBO listings and without a doubt this was THE nicest place of all of them! I am a retired chef and I have learned to bring certain things because the houses usually don't have them, i.e. cutting boards, sheet trays etc. This house had everything and more! And the owners were very responsive any time I had a question. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Maggie Valley Getaway
We came down to Maggie for the weekend of Eurofest. The road leading up to the house was a little questionable, especially for lowered cars, but was a pleasant surprise how much room we had in the driveway. The house was impeccably clean, instructions clear and concise, and very home-y. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend and look to even book this house again for next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly the way it is in the pictures. We had small children with us and having the ability to do laundry was extremely helpful. The outside porch and the swing were a favorite spot as well as the outside paved area to keep the kids entertained. Overall a perfect location for a relaxing getaway.
The location was also perfect, with close access to the stream and SoHo road.

This house is amazing. The owners have thought of everything. If you left something at home they have it there for you. For us, this house was centrally located for all the sightseeing/activities we wanted to do. Thirty (30) minutes to the Biltmore, Cherokee, and Wilmont (White Water Rafting). The front porch was our evening gathering spot for adult beverages, rocking and games. It was a perfect vacation in a perfect house. Definitely will return.
