Located in St. Croix, this charming condo for $205 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This 2 bedroom 2 bath single level condo, located on the 2nd floor is inviting and generous. Decorated and furnished with a tropical island flair this budget friendly home features stunning ocean views, 1,200 square feet of indoor space plus additional gallery space, a manicured lawn, and fragrant gardens. The home is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 4 guests. You will be just steps from the fresh water pool & sandy beach. This is the perfect spot for beach combing, swimming, snorkeling, and just relaxing. Swim out to a man-made reef only a few hundred feet offshore, or out farther to the spectacular Long Reef. The large pool is surrounded by tropical gardens and a gas grill is located pool-side for an afternoon lunch or an evening dinner. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches! There are two restaurants in walking distance, grocery stores close by and you will be just minutes from Downtown Christiansted, one of the most beautiful, historic, friendly, and exciting towns in the Caribbean.

It was a bit harder to find than expected but the property was fantastic! So close to everything you will need and want to visit. This was our first visit to the island and we were not disappointed. We found the locals to be very friendly and helpful with recommendations of sites to visit too. Emelyn was very responsive and helpful with pre arrival info and recommendations as well! We stayed in 205c and were very pleased with everything in the unit. The huge deck with sun chairs was a great benefit for us. The beach access was just a short walk from the property and was not directly outside of the gate but the set up of chairs under the palm trees outside of the gate to the small drop off/cliff was a perfect view for relaxing. Even the ground maintenance crew was friendly. The unit did have a washer and dryer which was fantastic for us flying with light luggage. The unit had everything you could need for a long week and then some! The location was perfect with markets and gas stations not far for last minute needs. Would stay again!

Myself in 2 others stayed in 205C for the last 3 months. Emelyn was very kind and professional throughout our booking process. There is a great view off the porch of the ocean and the condo had every thing you need. The people at colony cove were extremely welcoming as well. I can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in this property for 2 weeks. The condominium has all the amenities. Great view as well. We needed car rental which was expected. The Patio also looks good and has chairs and table etc. The down side is the smell in the condominium as well as resort. When you turn on AC, you do smell foul smell. The sea weed (Sargassum ) was not cleaned by the resort Management. The foul smelling algae along the shore line was so strong that we were NOT able to use our patio even once. The foul smell was present in Partking lot, Swimming pool area and on the beach. During our 2 weeks stay I did not see anyone sitting on the beach. Occasionally I have seen neighbors resorts cleaning their side of beach but not at the Colony Cove. The walk to beach at Sugar Cove beach was 5 min and they were able to maintain their side of the area. I used to go there to sit in the afternoon.
Overall, I do NOT recommend this condominium unless the resort does their job cleaning Sea weed.

Wonderful!
We love the location, it is quiet and free of motors on the water. The snorkeling is right off the shore followed by a dip in a very well maintained pool. The restaurant next door is friendly, convenient and good for great food and beverage.

5 week stay
Everything was good with my stay, I liked that I had a washer and dryer, and that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. There are also two nice grills by the pool. I was down here working so it was nice to be able to cook my own food to take to work. The pool was nice, and the condo really has everything you need! I would stay here again if I come back down.

Nice Condo with an Amazing View!
Colony Cove condo 205-C had a gorgeous water view and was very comfortable for our group of 4. It was well stocked with kitchen ware, linens, and some beach items like chairs, cooler, and snorkeling gear. It was very clean and everything worked-hot water, appliances, AC, etc. The only negative was the AC in the master room had a mildew smell that seemed to get better with use. The community had security 24/7 and was well maintained with beautiful landscaping and a nice pool area. Beach access was convenient, but limited. Quiet and convenient. Stan and Gayle from Champagne Vacation Rentals met us at the airport and escorted us to the condo, which was a big help since we arrived at night. They made sure we were set up with wifi and knew all of the security codes before they left. Thank you! I would highly recommend this condo.

All you could want
This review concerns the property on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands that we rented for the last two weeks in January of 2017. This condominium was unit 205C (known as Island Dreams) in the Colony Cove Condominiums just to the west of Christiansted on the north side of the island. It is on the second floor of building C and has a view of ocean, the grounds, and the pool. For information purposes Building D is the closest to the beach and has the best unobstructed view. Building A is the farthest from the beach. There are 54 total units in this development. The property is very secure. There is a coded gate entry to the parking area and coded gate to the beach. There is an around-the-clock security guard on the grounds. All the personnel associated with the operation of the condo complex were very friendly and helpful. I needed extra assistance with a plane flight and I went to the office where I could use their desktop computer and printer. The office manager, Evelyn, took care of everything for me.
The grounds and the beach are well maintained. Chairs and tables are provided in the pool area. Lounge chairs are provided on the beach. There are several gas bar-b-que grills for guest to use. There are two nearby restaurants on the beach. The the one to the west is the Golden Rail and it’s food is fair but drinks and live entertainment are always available. The restaurant to the east is Breezez and it is one of our favorite places on the island. We think it has the best steaks on the island.
There is plenty of sandy beach to play on. Remember, you have the use of the entire beach and there is a wider beach just next door at the Sugar Beach condominiums. Snorkeling off the beach is good for St. Croix because of the man made reef just a few yards off the shore. In general you won’t find the colorful marine/reef life anywhere on St. Croix that you see elsewhere (Belize, St. John, Great Barrier Reef, etc.) but it is still interesting to snorkel.
We arranged for our condominium rental through Champagne Vacation Rentals. In our opinion they run a “first class” operation. They were responsive during the initial rental process. They answered all our questions promptly. There were no surprises during our stay in St Croix. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered that we would be met at the airport by their representative, Emily. She made sure everything went smoothly…from the collection of our baggage, the rental of our Budget Jeep, and the delivery

Great location, great property
We spent a wonderful week in this spacious and well-stocked condo, minutes from downtown Christiansted and right on the water. The huge deck overlooking the beach and the pool made the apartment seem even bigger. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to St. Croix!

Island Paradise
It is always good to return. Our stay again was a memorable one for all the right reasons. The accommodations were pleasant, with original water colors of the coral reefs and native art as accents. The condo was VERY clean, kitchen was well equipped, staff helpful and the condo community residents welcoming and generous. Wonderful dining was stroll away at Breezes and stay at home dinners on the deck overlooking the ocean and the pool were relaxing. The location is such that you are minutes from Christiansted where there is great shopping and more dining opportunities. Best of all snorkeling at the tires is a short swim off the beach where we always see lots of fish big and small and if we are feeling really energetic and the water is calm we swim to the reef and snorkel there. Wonderful Caribbean getaway
The island breezes are still fresh while I recall a most delightful week on the beautiful island of St. Croix. A week was not enough time to see all this diverse island has to offer. There is the historic fort in Christiansted, the first site of the United States to welcome the year 2000 at Point Udall, the expansive grounds of the botanical gardens, wonderful beaches and snorkeling.
Colony Cove was a comfortable and convenient location from which to see all the islands sites and spend the week just relaxing. The complex is extremely well kept with a beautiful pool that overlooks the Caribbean and invites swimming at any time. Our condo was well appointed and very clean when we arrived and met all our needs for a ladies getaway week. And a bonus were the friendly staff and other renters/owners.
Both the condo and this island are gems not to missed and I would recommend this unit to anyone planning a visit to St. Croix.

St. Croix has been my favorite vacation in the last five years, and the comfort and location of this condo is a big reason. The view of the Caribbean is spectacular, the beach close and inviting, the town an easy drive and the breezes off the water were refreshing and cooling. I am sure we will return ... often!
