We were looking for rest and relaxation and we found it. The condo was wonderful. Private lanai with views of Maui and Lanai. The unit was complete with everything we needed. Would definitely go back.

This condo was absolutely perfect and the owners were just wonderful to deal with. The view from balcony is stunning… sadly we didn’t see any whales but being able to see both sunrise and sunset is amazing. Condo was updated and had every modern convenience. I would love to come back to this lovely island but would only stay here. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay here!

My stay was so pleasant. I have no complaints. The communication with Lisa was easy, the facility is clean and comfortable, the unit is very well furnished and very clean.

Great location. Very responsive hosts. The cono is well appointed. The furnishings are nice and the kitchen has most everything you would need.

My wife and I spent a week here and loved every moment. The view is spectacular, the property is well maintained and gorgeous, and the unit is modern and very pleasant. We hope to be able to come again. Thank you!

My husband and I were looking for a comfortable condo for a relaxing vacation where we would feel no pressure to rush around like tourists to see as much as we could in as short a period of time as possible. This was the perfect hideaway, where we could just sit on the lanai to watch the sunrise over Maui, eat every meal outside, and take our daily swim in the pool in between naps and short drives to town for more lau lau and poke. The condo was clean, comfy, with a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, and an umbrella. The bed was very comfortable as well. Bathroom is small but no problem for us. It would be tight for more than 2 adults. Very nice stay. If you are interested in a lazy, relaxing Hawaiian experience without any tourists, we recommend Molokai and this condo.

This is the definition of oceanfront. I spent every day, many hours each day, staring out at the water. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and the property is nicely appointed. I would stay here again!

This was a great stay in a really nice place. I could have sat on the lanai watching the view for two weeks!! Fantastic stay and I'll be back.

This condo was amazing! The kitchen update was really well done, the furnishings beautiful and comfortable, and the view from the Lanai was perfect. Communications with the owner were exceptional, and their notebook about the property and the island were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived on the island of Molokai, to the second we unlocked the door to this magnificent residence, all the way throughout the entirety of our stay, things could not have been much more perfect. We had a wonderful time at the condo in Wavecrest. The complex itself is kept up well with beautiful landscaping, and it seems like a nice community. The condo has a terrific view of Maui, and it was fun watching a lot of fireworks going off there on New Years Eve! Although we explored all parts of Molokai, we were happy that we were staying at Wavecrest because it gave us many opportunities to explore the southern and eastern coasts of the island which are so interesting and beautiful. The condo is very well furnished with a lovely kitchen and handy supplies like big beach towels and chairs. Everything was nice and clean except for the outsides of windows and screens which might be the complex’s responsibility. The owners have an extremely handy notebook for their guests with excellent tips and recommendations. I think we forgot to sign the guest book when we left, but we enjoyed reading about the other guests when we first arrived.

The phrase, "This is Molokai" drops into conversation with some regularity while on this island. Generational residents will use it to make clear that they really don't want this corner of paradise to change -- and they hope visitors will follow the adage, "Don't change Molokai, let Molokai change you." More recent residents and visitors sometimes use "This is Molokai" to indicate that the pace of life (including repairs for mechanical problems that may pop up) here on Molokai will probably be a lot more relaxed than mainlanders (or Honolulu residents) may be used to. But frequent visitors (such as myself) use it to describe exactly why we come back -- to a gorgeous garden hideaway in the middle of the Pacific where simply the Molokai way of life itself lowers blood pressure, slows heart rate, and calms the spirit with the authentic spirit of "aloha" that attracted mainlanders in the first place. Full disclosure: If you haven't visited Molokai previously -- or if this is your once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii and you're looking for a lot of tourist attractions, fancy restaurants, and surfing --then probably at least visit one of the other islands first. But to know what "This is Molokai" really means while also enjoying the hospitality of an amazingly well groomed, maintained, and tucked away condo community, then Wavecrest is a true gem, all for the price of a freeway exit motel chain on the mainland. Which leads to Randy and Lisa's condo at Wavecrest. If you're looking for the Molokai way of life but still want top notch appliances, great cable service, effective wifi, the most tastefully and "Hawaiianly" decorated home you are likely to find, all with the Pacific Ocean not more than 25 feet away from your lanai -- truly Wavecrest A-302 lives up to the promise, "This is Molokai". The pictures are accurate and, if anything, understate the quality and beauty of this unit. The owners are receptive and quick to communicate if needed. The best recommendation I can give is that having stayed for 10 days this year, I have already booked a full month for next year.
