Gulfview II 1-130 offers a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and full-size appliances to cook all of your home-cooked meals. This condo has a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a hall bunk area perfect for 2 little ones, and a living area with a sofa sleeper, allowing for a maximum of 6 people. With 2 televisions, 1 DVD player, and CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. Enjoy free DVD rentals. You will find a DVD kiosk machine located in the check-in office. There are a washer and dryer located on every floor by the stairway. Enjoy the wonderful Gulfview II 1-130 on your next stay on the Emerald Coast! Gulfview II is located on Scenic Highway 98 in Miramar Beach, just a short walk or bike ride to the crystal-clear Gulf waters. Enjoy the property’s outdoor pools and hot tub, along with a large sundeck and outdoor showers. Gulfview II is ideal for all occasions, offering a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere. Located in the hub of Miramar Beach, Gulfview II is in close proximity to local restaurants, area attractions, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Venture over to the Whale’s Tail Beach Bar & Grill, the Crab Trap or 790 on the Gulf, for fresh, local cuisine. Gulfview II is just under three miles from premier shopping at the Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall. Create lasting memories with watersports activities, scooter or bike rentals, or simply relax on the sugar-white sands. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Hello!
So booking this through VRBO, I did not know it was linked with Vacasa. NOT a fan. Let me explain.
Pros:
Location- the best thing about this condo is the proximity of the complex to the beach. I have stayed at this complex before, and the area is on point. The condo itself is directly across from the pool/hot tub area.
Beds - The beds are comfortable. After reading some reviews, we passed on the pull-out sofa and used an air mattress.
Cons:
Communication- The beach code provided did not work. We did not hear back for HOURS. This is a problem when you have a beach vacation.
Stocked- A "fully stocked" condo does not include the following:
-More than one roll of paper towels and 2 toilet paper rolls. After this, you are on your own.
-No blankets. Literally, no extra blankets. I have never stayed somewhere where this was the case.
-No vacuum or broom to assist with sand pickup
-No salt/pepper (just as an FYI).
-Cleanliness- I selected a "5" for cleanliness when we arrived. Surface level? Yes. Don't look too close, at all. Per other reviews, we also did not sit in the chair without using a towel first.
Tips: Bring the aforementioned items if you decide to book -along with trash bags. Bring an eye mask (no blackout curtains, and it is bright in the bedroom), and earplugs (walls are thin).
Was the amount paid worth it? Ehhh- I would go with no.

The beach was right next door and it is a nice location. Our room was sort of clean with dust and mold looking like spots inside the shower. When I sent pics about the dust etc... I only recieved a automatic text back.
The chair in the living room was very dirty. We did not put anything on it because of that.
I was asked to bring the trash out on the room sign but have to pay a cleaning fee per the rate for this room???
The rooms were ok but I would not stay there again.

Everything was great except for the mattress in the couch. It's too thin so you feel every spring so its impossible to sleep on it. Other than that the apartment is excellent.

We really enjoyed this condo. The room it’s self was a perfect size for my family of 6. The condo isn’t too big so you don’t have alot of people, and very close to the beach. The room could use a little updating. Maybe a new chair or rocking chair. But other than that great place.

We enjoyed the fact that the location is waking distance from the beach and the pool was heated plus the jacuzzi. The apartment is practical and comfortable.

The refrigerator didn't work and the freezer was our refrigerator. We were lacking beach access codes and common information about departure guidelines as well as suggested local places that most VRBO places offer. (KEEP READING!)
After a few days of speaking with various people (and vacuuming the sand up), everything worked out WONDERFULLY! This specific unit is right across from the pool on the ground floor which was SUPER convenient! The fridge took 2 1/2 days before repaired and they gave us a discount for our trouble. Other friendly people shared the beach code and the beach wasn't too crowded for our Covid sanity getaway. We would LOVE to return to this specific unit! The hall bunks were awesome for the kids and a great use of space! The condo was small but perfect for spreading out a bit (E-Learning took place) and then spending our days at the pool and beach! Great walking distance to multiple places. Just a WONDERFUL trip overall. Thank you!!!

Enjoyed our stay at Gulfview. Unit 1-130 is conveniently located to parking, swimming pool. Property has been well maintained for over a decade. We have been frequent visitors over the years and each experience has been positive.

The wifi was far from being reliable, dropping quite often. Had to connect to different routers. I will never use VRBO again if I have to pay in excess of $100 to home away. 3rd time at Gulfview but the absolute last time thru VRBO.
