Situated in Lakehills, this attractive house for $222 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This house is our little piece of heaven. Enjoy coffee in the morning on the large deck and watch the birds and deer come to feed. Plenty of room to walk around on the property and spend some time on the lower level with gorgeous tree canopy. Access to Medina River for hiking, fishing, soaking, and kayaking. Living room offers a futon bed and TV. The first bedroom has a queen bed and TV in the room, the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds - full on bottom and twin on top- with TV in the room. Two baths - one stand up shower and the other a tub/shower combo. Kitchen includes plenty of items that you would have at your own home for cooking/serving/eating. There is also a propane griddle and a charcoal/wood burning BBQ pit available for your outside use.

We spent 2 nights over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out could not have been easier, the host is super responsive and the property is well stocked with anything you may have forgotten to bring with you. We made a full Christmas dinner for 4 in the kitchen and loved the sunsets each night on the huge back deck. The area is so quiet and the deer come right up to the house throughout the day and night. The walk down to the creek through the cleaned and cleared woods was fun as it is a very steep hill. All around great property and we were happy to have to opportunity to enjoy it over the holiday.

This was our second stay at this property, and we can’t wait to go back again! Clean, comfortable, well-furnished, peaceful, relaxing, BEAUTIFUL. The whole family loves being here and we’re always sad to leave. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts or the home!

This is a great place to just be away from the city and have the whole family together. During the day they enjoyed playing in the spacious yard, there’s plenty of board games for after dark. Too bad the water level was merely a trickle. They also enjoyed watching the birds and the deer, even the teens participated in the activities!! We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely will be back!!

Toys/games, deers and birds, views in the day and stars at night. So very relaxing we couldn't get enough of the outside back porch,kids and adults enjoyed it and would rent it again.

Check in process was easy and the property is great. The deck is amazing and the view wow; we spent the whole time on the deck. I enjoyed the walk every day I was there. Suzette is a great host! Thank you!

Awesome 2 bedroom house up atop the hill over the river. Be ready for a fantastic surprise when you keep walking down the driveway. The back deck is great for end of the day relaxation where you can take in the sunset and look out over the surrounding landscape. Close enough to town with a scenic drive through farm/ranch land in between. Friendly and communicative hosts too. Can recommend for a family or 2 couples, with doggies!

Spent our 29th anniversary in Pipe's Creek and absolutely loved the seclusion. Just us, lots of deer (fed them some carrots), birds, and squirrels. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the property. The back deck, the wooded area before the creek. We wanted a place surrounded by nature and this was great. Drove an hr to Concan because the Medina river was dry. Over all it was great!! If you forget to take something with you the house is likely to have it, it is well equipped.

This place felt like home. The wildlife and river were totally amazing. The host was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had. The kitchen and house were above and beyond stocked. Pretty much any thing needed for cooking a variety of meals was available in the kitchen. We did not want for anything accept maybe a few board games. Our kids spent a lot of time outside and down in and around the river when it was cool in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely go back!

This property was perfect for our 3 day stay. It had everything we needed and more. Suzette was such an amazing host and was able to quickly resolve a small issue we had. The deck has awesome views, and the industrial fan on the porch was perfect to beat the summer heat. It was nice to see the deer come up and eat from the feeder. The kids loved being able to go down to the creek and fish. The water was pretty low in most parts but there was still a spot where it was about knee deep. Definitely a great stay and a great time.

We enjoyed our stay in the Bandera/Pipe Creek house. We especially enjoyed the deck and view. We did some kayaking on the Guadalupe and Medina rivers not too far from Pipe Creek. We also enjoyed a beer festival hosted by the Bandera Brewery that included 80 Texas breweries and other businesses. Suzette is a super host and was quick to respond to all inquires!

Booked this gem for the back porch deck alone… and we were not disappointed! There’s an entire bottom part of the property that goes down to the creek - stone bottom perfect for those folding rocking chairs while the kids play in the knee deep creek. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. The host was awesome and flexible when we wanted to add an extra day and a well trained dog! Loved our stay here and will stay again in the future!

We had a wind time at this property. We enjoyed the river and the outdoors. The water was perfect for our kids, ages 5-10. They fished, threw rocks, the football and just explored nature. The walk and climb down to the river is very steep and I would not recommend it for anyone that is not fisically fit. These k is just wonderful to sit in mornings and evenings. The communication with the owner was great and she even checked in to see if everything was going well.

The house was great and well equipped. The deck, the view and the wildlife make this property exceptional. We were in town for a bike rally and ended up spending more time relaxing and enjoying ourselves on the deck than we spent at the actual rally. I highly recommend this property. It is quiet and relaxing. You will not be disappointed.

Our family stayed here for spring break get-away. Beautiful property tucked away in the country, but right between everything we wanted to do - hiking at Garner State Park to downtown adventures in San Antonio. The home was very clean and well-equipped for everything we needed to feel right at home! Great views for back porch sitting after a long day out with the kiddos! Would definitely recommend this property and stay again in the future! Thank you!

This place was absolutely perfect. My best friend and I really enjoyed our time and hated to leave. Everything we possibly needed was provided. The view from the deck is breathtaking. The location is perfect. We were able to visit Bandera, Kirville and Boerne with ease.

Enjoyed our stay exploring the property and cooking on the back deck. House has a lot of sleeping spots even though it’s not huge - it’s got a lot of charm. The views out back on the deck and down at the creek are pretty special. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy!
