***On May 13, 2024, the Association announced a lanai reconstruction project that will start May 2024 and is expected to end October 2024. While this unit's lanai is NOT being worked on, work on select lanais will start on the Tower 4 pool side and follow around the Tower 4 building. Then work will move to the pool side of Tower 3 and continue around that building. Work will be noisy at times and is limited to 8AM to 5 PM with only limited Saturday work as needed. This is the extent of our knowledge of the project and we will update this notice when/if we get more information; therefore, there is no need to reach out with questions. If you book, no refunds will be given for noise/project related issues.*** This beautifully renovated two bedroom, two bath South Seas Tower 3 condo offers fantastic Gulf and beachfront views. As a guest here, you’ll have exclusive access to amenities such as the heated community pool, fitness center, walking paths, tennis & pickle ball courts, and a putting green. South Seas is the only community on Marco Island which boasts both beach access and boat docks, which can be rented at very reasonable prices. NOTES: - The condo complex allows owners to make renovations to their units from May 1 to November 15 so there can be construction noise in this Tower. Work can only be done between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, unless it is for emergency repairs. - There is a registration fee of $100 which includes a parking pass for one car and each addtional parking pass is $100/car. We had no internet or tv for the first part of our week stay. Was told by Mark from itrip if I read the contract they weren’t responsible for this. We were told as we were leaving the problem stemmed from a bad router which they were going to replace when we left. Mark offered us $75 refund if I signed an agreement stating I wouldn’t say anything about this and if I rated our stay I had to give it 5 stars (blackmailing). After contacting Vrbo many times I was told it was taken care of. Really??? How was it taken care of, I received nothing in writing or any type of compensation. Will never go thru Vrbo again.

Second time staying at south seas towers, so we were familiar with rules and regulations. We absolutely live this location with its proximity to beach and restaurants erc. This condo was by far the best equipped and remodeled that weve ever stayed in anywhere. The south sea towers complex is just nit very kid/family friendly. The poil attendant is rude and accusatory while the residents seem to appreciate her bluntness. Tennis/pickle ball court users were critical and rude as we were simply trying to expose our kids to new sports. We still return though because it's a perfect area and community for our vacation. This particular unit was exceptional! Thanks so much!

The condo is very nicely decorated. The sunsets are magnificent. We were there for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, during our stay there were a number of building issues that spoiled our stay. The second day we were there the water in Tower 3 had to be turned off for maintenance purposes. That issue had us racing to the local food store to purchase gallons of drinking water. We also had to go to the local laundromat to do our wash. Once the water was restored one of the elevators was inoperable causing long waits for an elevator to get up and down. That lasted over 7 days to get fixed. Then all the dryers in the building were shut down because the main blower malfunctioned which meant hauling our clothes to Tower 4 or back to the local laundromat. That issue was fixed 3 days before we checked out. I called Mark about the front door slamming shut. I was told it didn’t need an adjustment, however, it was a hazard as you tried to negotiate entering with a handful of groceries. If a family rented this unit you would had to be very careful about this slamming door. As luck would have it the freight elevator was closed down the last 4 days to replace the flooring. Bottom line the building is nice and obviously well maintained, unfortunately, some of the upkeep had to be conducted during a time when there are many renters occupying these units. The interior of our unit, 701, was well stocked with cooking supplies and appliances. As you can see in the photos the kitchen is beautiful but lacks cabinet space necessary for long term stays. The adult beds were very comfortable however the bunk beds were not. As for beach equipment the host had plenty of equipment to enjoy a fun day at the beach . Sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach buggy and cooler. Tower 3 shares a pool with the other tower and can get a little crowded. However, we met a lot of nice people vacationing there as we were. Marco Island is beautiful and has lots to offer. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the building issues put a damper on our stay.
