I fell in love w/ this house the moment I opened the door!! The location is beyond perfection!!!! The house is spacious and is steps from the beach. Beds were comfy, kitchen stocked ( need a lobster pot though!). My October stay wasn’t without a nip in the air and the house heats up very quickly. Loved sitting on the porch and walking on the beach! There is definitely a rustic flair, and I really enjoyed the wood work and beams ...... Perfect stay!!!

Property was a great size and location was amazing! Can't beat being steps away from the beach. We had two small children and the house was great for them as well.

My family and I stayed here a few nights and had an incredible time. The house was just what we were looking for. With two small kids the beach has never been easier. The view is incredible. We were up every morning watching the sunrise (thanks to our three year old). Spacious kitchen, gorgeous views from every room,. we lovedFalling asleep to the ocean. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Don was super helpful, responsive, and accommodating and we feel lucky to have stayed there. The home was clean. Thank you so much for having us, we would love to come back!

The location couldn't have been better! Beautiful beach and the house is spacious and open. Don was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. Perfect for families! Will definitely come back. Did not want to come home! Lisa D.

Pros: The location was amazing! Literally right on the beach. Only a short walk to a few cute shops/restaurants in Wells and only 5 miles from Ogunquit, which we love. The views are spectacular with large bay windows along the back side of the house so no matter where you are on the first floor, you have a full ocean view. Breath taking! Woke up to the sounds of the ocean every morning! Kitchen was sufficiently stocked, cable TV and wi-fi worked without issue. Lovely deck on the back and front of the house (great views of the sunset from the front porch). House was sufficiently cleaned. Owner let us park at the house early on arrival day and use the beach until it was time to check in, much appreciated!! Same with the day we left - after checking out we spent another few hours on the beach with our car parked at the property. Things to consider: No AC on the first floor. Window units in the two bedrooms upstairs which gets stifling hot. There is a toilet and shower on the first floor/basement level but they were dark and scary so didn't use them. The house is definitely dated, has that old, musty NE beach house feel to it. But I believe it was priced accordingly. Once couch in the living room was completely sunk in on one side and 1-2 of the dining room chairs had holes in the seats and were unusable. It also would be nice to have dining furniture outside so that we didn't always have to eat inside. Also would have loved to have an outdoor shower.

The house is perfectly placed on the beach with a small yard to place chairs or have a bonfire. The house has some games that we enjoyed on the beach and nice rocking chairs on the deck to drink your morning coffee. The owner, Don, was very communicative and texted me as well as checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. The only thing I would say the couch had scratches and the chairs were extremely worn out so we didn’t feel comfortable sitting in them. Otherwise it was a great stay

Don was an excellent host, was responsive to our questions and needs. The house was clean, well kept, and the back deck opened right on to the beach! We look forward to staying at this property next year!
