We loved our stay in Santa Monica!! The location is perfect and accommodations great! We love that you can walk the neighborhood with ease and be down at the beach in minutes!! Great stay!

Visiting in the area for Thanksgiving, we needed a place to stay. The proximity to the Pacific Palisades made this a good spot -- and the images shared of the room looked like a comfortable and easy setting for our two nights. Check in was very easy with the instructions provided. The amenities in the room were just what we needed - small beverage fridge, water, glassware, couple of chairs with pillows to sit, etc. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable -- after a long drive this was really appreciated! Nice shower/tub combo too. Very tastefully furnished. As we had family plans didn't get to enjoy time walking along Palisades Park, just a short distance away -- but would highly recommend that for folks visiting the area. Great location. Charmingly furnished. Modern conveniences.

Wendy was a great host, shared personal knowledge of town and her guest cottage was prepped for our arrival with coffee, wine, and beer. We loved our stay here, just a few blocks from the beach and town!

Excellent hosts and location! The place was walking distance to so many great spots including the beach and many restaurants. We tried a few of the recommended restaurants and had the best meal of our entire trip. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the check in instructions were exact. I highly recommend this spot and would come back in a heart beat.

Loved this cozy, clean, and comfy room! Great communication with host and easy check-in process. Peaceful neighborhood just a few minutes’ walk to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. a Walking distance to Santa Monica pier. Would recommend staying here.

This was the perfect place to stay in Santa Monica! Just four blocks from the ocean, with great shopping and restaurants within walking distance, too. Wendy was a warm and welcoming host, and we had a cozy, beautifully decorated room in a beautiful home, with access to a lovely yard. The neighborhood was very quiet and absolutely gorgeous! We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful attached one bedroom apt - they had such an attention to detail. Our place was spotless and the bed couldn’t have been more comfortable. It’s just minutes from Montana avenue and it’s about a 15 min walk to the amazing Pacific Ocean beach and pier!!

Delicious inviting Sheets! Comfort of bed. Nice touches of treats for us upon arrival. Gorgeous environment with peets. coffee too! For future folks-just know there is no microwave and the refrigerator is small - but there’s lots of fabulous restaurants near by. So glad we got to meet our hosts who were so welcoming.

We were visiting our newborn grandson and the location couldn’t have been better. The room was very well-appointed with a comfortable bed and very clean. We would stay here again if it was available.

What a delightful place to stay! This property was lovely, and we had a very pleasant experience. Close to everything and a short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Ample street parking with a permit given by the host in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

The property on Palisades was a great location in Santa Monica. The room was very clean. The bottle of wine was a nice touch upon arrival. We were in town for Willie Nelson's 90th Birthday party at the Hollywood Bowl, and I wanted to be able to surf so the location was perfect.

Not worth the price- it is a small room/bathroom within the owners house.There was no garbage can or microwave, and we were only provided with a tiny box mini fridge, which made our stay pretty uncomfortable. The communication with the owner also was not great. I experienced a glitch in the VRBO app and could not access the check in instructions. I tried contacting the owner, she declined my call and replied “text only” then proceeded to ignore all my texts explaining the situation for over 4 hours. If I had not received support from VRBO customer service I would not have been able to check in until late at night when she finally called me back. Overall I wouldn’t recommend. The only thing I enjoyed about our stay was the location, but again, I still don’t think it was worth the price.

This place is a dream. I loved how cozy it felt from the very beginning. We spent 4 nights here and it didn’t seem long enough. The bed is so comfy. The complimentary bottle was a nice gesture. If you’re thinking about booking this place, just do it. The Wi-Fi worked great, I was able to attend my meetings flawlessly.

Host was great, easy check-in, prompt response in communications, very, very good. Place was perfect for the 2 of us, comfy bed, nice temp for sleeping on the very chilly Santa Monica evenings we spent there. Well appointed and the Chardonnay was really nice touch. Great proximity to shops and excellent food, not only on Montana but the area itself. We will definitely check this listing FIRST when planning next year's visit.

Beautiful suite just a short walk from the ocean and close to shops/restaurants in Santa Monica and everything else that the area has to offer including Malibu, Point Dumes, and the mountains. Great hiking, shopping, dining, and relaxing! The owners were very kind, everything was clean and orderly. The suite was exactly what appeared in the listing. I highly recommend this VRBO and look forward to visiting again soon.

We were so pleased with this property. We didn't have a car for this trip so walkability was key. The home and neighborhood are beautiful, easy walking distance to several great restaurants, the pier and loads of great shops. I have not stayed at a 'shared' location before, where the owners are in a separate part of the property. I was worried it would be weird or there would be a lot of extra noise. I'm glad we took the risk. There were no issues at all. The bed, linens and pillows were luxurious and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the attention to details like quality towels, a filter pitcher of water in the fridge and the bottle of campaign. I will recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

I was in the area for some medical appointments and needed a comfortable place to call home for a couple of nights. This suite was *perfect* for me and what I needed during a fairly stressful week. It is in a lovely location, close to shops, cafes & restaurants, and I also enjoyed a nice long walk along the water to the pier. Vincent and Wendy made life easy and comfortable - I will most definitely be back. There is something about this suite that is so comfortable and lovely... it's a magical little spot.

We have family in the Palisades and this was a perfect location for us all to be together. Our room was just beautifully appointed with a sitting area - and a bottle of wine on the table waiting for us. There is also small refrigerator and Keurig with pods for morning coffee. There is plenty of storage space for clothes and toiletries, with shampoo, body wash and conditioner are supplied. The location couldn't be better for shopping, eating - Montana Ave has it all! And in just a few blocks and you can walk along the beautiful promenade and enjoy the beach scene. When we come again we will definitely stay with these wonderful hosts. Judi and Paul 1/18/23
