This is our second year in a row to stay here. We love how close we can get to our unit to unload and load our stuff. It is then just a short walk to get to the Lazy River area or the beach. There are several quality restaurants within walking distance so you don’t have to get out and deal with the traffic. We will be back next year. Thanks!

The property was great for both kids and adults.

We arrived at our unit at 6pm, after a long day of traveling only to find that our door code that was emailed to me did not work. This was AFTER I had texted Vacasa earlier in the day to confirm that this code they sent me was for the door, after I had seen a previous review stating they had the same problem. Well, that code was for parking only. We got in after being on the phone about 15 mins to get the door code.
The unit itself is spacious and in a good spot in the complex. Some of my opinions: Extra blankets would of been nice. Too much decor / knickknacks everywhere. Smart TVs in all bedrooms would come in handy for the kids (it was only available in living room and bunk room)
I tried to boil some water to cook and the burner on the stove started to burn the pot. I quickly turned it off but I was afraid to cook on high heat after that. The bunk area was dirty. The mattress itself was clean but the space the mattress sits in had an accumulation of crumbs, dirt and who knows what else. The mattresses need to be removed and that area vacuumed/ wiped out
On our checkout day, housekeeping came in while we were still in the unit at like 8:30, when checkout wasn’t until 10.
It seems like management needs to communicate a lot of things better.
Overall though, our family had a good stay. The amenities and activities the waterscape provides is awesome. The beach also showed out for our stay, it was beautiful.

We loved the pool area and the beach. Access to the beach was quick & easy. We did not love having the wrong door code & being stuck outside with a two year old at 10 pm for over 30 minutes waiting for one that worked. The code we were sent was the one for the gate and gym. Annoying that Vacasa didn’t double check when I questioned it before arriving. I noticed it was the same code as the gate code. We did not love the smell of the condo or how dingy it appeared. It just needs some TLC.

Great location, nice place, too crowded overall.
Clean, nice place to take your family. The location is excellent and there's lots to do within a 5-mile radius. The beaches were overcrowded and they weren't at capacity when we stayed. Lots of pool rules. Small kitchens no counter space. Overall it was nice but I'll stay somewhere less crowded next time.

Needs some TLC on interior and patio
We’ve stayed at Waterscape several times and love the complex and accessibility, however this unit was the most ran down unit we’ve stayed in. The patio windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them, the furniture is torn and worn out. The patio rug was moldy and the weeds were over grown. The handicap shower was nice to have.

We enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms smaller than I thought they would be. Overall nice place.
I highly recommend they remove the rugs in living room and kitchen or wash after each rental. They were stained and dirty and we had 2 small children.

This unit was perfectly located for our group which included 4 adults and 4 children. Being on the ground floor was great so we didn't have to deal with stairs or elevators with the little ones. An added bonus was that the back patio was near the parking lot so we were able to unload straight from the parking area into the back door without going in and out of controlled access doors. The unit was nicely decorated and clean. Having 2.5 baths was great since we had a party of 8. There was an upside and downside with going through ResortQuest. Upside: on site management should you have any issues, free beach chair setup, free movie rentals. Downside: Maintenance banging on the door wanting to change air filters while babies were sleeping (this should have been done when unit not rented), the unit was VERY basically stocked. Very cheap kitchen supplies. No garbage bags or any usual kitchen basics that are typically in a privately managed unit such as salt, pepper, tin foil, garbage bags, etc. They only supply one roll of toilet paper and paper towels so you will need to bring pretty much everything. Kitchen utensils and cookware were very cheap dollar store type. Not a big deal but if you like to cook I would bring your own. We love Waterscape and all the amenities it offers. We would stay here again, but would be sure to bring more of our own kitchen supplies since we like to cook. Also, watch out for the unfriendly pool attendant on morning shift. We called her the pool Nazi because she literally just walked around yelling at people in the hot tubs and pools. Not friendly at all. I brought my own tube for the lazy river because the ones provided are small and not comfortable for a tall adult. She made me take it out. Yelled at my brother for having a drink in 2 inches of water next to his child in the zero entry area of pool. I get that there are rules. However, there are none posted at the pool about rafts or toys in the pools. If you are going to enforce them, then they need to be posted. We paid a lot to stay here and I should be able to use my own raft. Geez, it's the off season so lighten up. The pools aren't even crowded.
