About this house rental
Family owned since 1992, our 2 story 2,100 square foot home is designed to maximize the expansive ocean views from both the upper and lower floors, with the main bedroom upstairs and 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has a full bathroom. This cottage style home has wood accents throughout with a wood burning fireplace upstairs and LCD TV. The extended dining area contains a wet bar, stereo/CD player, and two tables for dining. All with a view and access to the upper deck. The lower level is furnished with comfortable seating, TV/VCR, game table, full size futon, second full bathroom, laundry room, and extra refrigerator/freezer. There is direct access to the large lower deck and ocean view hot tub. Perfect for vacation! Our private volleyball court is perfect for sheltered relaxation, a spirited game of volleyball, or there's room for both just off the lower deck. An easy stroll about 50 yards further down a dedicated sandy path gets you to the main beach. We love not only our "little beach" for small children to play and volleyball, but also the close proximity to Clark's creek for family fun in shallow water. You can't beat our view of Twin Rocks, the ocean waves, and the sunset! This home is located in Rockaway Beach in the 7 mile sandy beach between Tillamook Bay and Nehalem Bay. The home is managed by the owners.

We had a lovely weekend at this place. Although it rained and we could not walk to the beach, we enjoyed the beautiful views from the upper living room while we played cribbage. Very spacious upper and lower level bedrooms with bathrooms and living space. Would recommend highly. Something to be aware of: responsibilities for leaving and upkeep are big- see listing and read carefully.

The house was well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. The view is wonderful. Wish we had more time to enjoy everything Rockaway has to offer!

The property owners were incredible to work with. We adore this house-this is the second time we’ve stayed and would love to return. The house is clean (it smelled amazing on arrival!), well-equipped, and has a lovely floor plan that worked great for our family of 4 plus my parents. It is super close to the beach and has amazing views! Thank you for an amazing experience and family memories! (:

The pictures don't do the property justice. From the ease to get to the beach to the various amenities on the property, this house is simply one of a kind. While we were just one couple staying there, the house felt very cozy and warm - yet there is ample room for larger groups. Each floor has its own charm and character, but the views simply couldn't be beat. And with the city center just mere blocks away by foot or by car, there is plenty to do if you want to wander. We'll be back to this location sometime very soon - it's worth the visit!

Thank you for sharing your home. Beautiful setting and views. House is very well stocked with lots of towels. My only little complaint is the hot tub cover. It's very heavy and worn out. It was hard for us girls to lift up.Time for a replacement. We will definitely be back! Thanks again :)

Visited Rockaway Beach with family and had a great time in this house. It was as advertised, very clean, and well equipped. Being able to walk right out the back door to the beach and enjoy amazing views are priceless. Rockaway Beach is a great little beach town and works very well as a jumping off point to other areas along the coast. We’d stay here again in a second.

The house was 100% great. Having two living areas was nice. Beds were comfortable. We were mostly indoors because we had 8” of snow, but the children loved playing in it. The house had everything that you would need. One recommendation for the owners would be to have a toy chest in the bedroom with bunk beds, or somewhere else with toys and books for younger children. There were games for older kids and plenty of outdoor sand toys, but if the weather is bad some inside toys would be a great addition. I definitely would like to return in warmer weather. The house is in a great location, it’s clean and spacious.

This home was the perfect location for our quaint family getaway, even in November when the weather can me unpredictable. The beach is a short walk through the dunes. When we weren't out on the beach, we enjoyed cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing games. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. Highly recommend staying here.

This beach house exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay there again. Only problem (and this is NOT a problem with the house!) is that in September (off season), as is typical of the smaller beach towns, you will have trouble finding places to eat. They are pretty much all closed or on late hours. But, there is a decent market and a convenience store.

If you're on the fence at all, don't be - the property was amazing, easy in-and-out, and can't beat being able to walk out the back door to the beach. It was perfect for our larger family, and the beds were very comfortable, we highly recommend it :)
Also, our families typically pack sheets to be more comfortable, but everything was so nice we didn't even use ours that we packed. The kitchen was very well appointed and we weren't missing anything we needed (which is very uncommon for our stays in other rentals). The owners are very communicative and helpful with anything you may need.

We LOVED this house! The location is great and the house is very family friendly. We loved waking up and watching the waves through the huge windows. The owners were great to work with. We are definitely leaving a piece of our hearts in Oregon!

We spent a wonderful week on the coast. The house is ideally situated with easy access to many local towns, state parks and scenic drives. The views are spectacular, the house is very clean and comfortable with easy access onto a beautiful and sparsely populated beach. The upstairs downstairs set-up makes it easy for 4 adults to have their privacy or to let kids have their own space. Dave and Jan were easy to communicate with and questions were answered in a timely manner. Don't miss out on this one! We will definitely be back

This home has a beautiful location, especially if you love the beach. Just a few steps away from the back portch you have a awesome beach to hang out and let the kids play. Sleeping with the windows open while you can hear the waves was so relaxing! I would definitely come back and stay.

Fun family weekend
Great summer weekend trip with cousins! House was perfect for 2 families. Beach access was amazing. We appreciated having beach toys and gear. The local grocery store has amazing customer service, and great advice on the best local food. We will definitely come again.

Would book again
We did a quick girls trip here and the place was great. It was a surprise birthday gathering, so a big bonus was the house had a lot of little things we forgot (scissors for example!)
Lots of bowls, platters, etc so a great house for a big group. The weather kept us inside most of the time, but there is ample room to spread out and enjoy the house - the beach views made up for being stuck inside. Appreciated the quick and helpful nature of the hosts. Would definitely book again so we can get full use of the stellar beach access and volleyball court.

Awesome Quick weekend trip !
Property was super fun. View was awesome. This house is a 10/10 for morning coffee and watching the ocean.

Love this property!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property, and we just love it. The location is great and it’s very comfortable. They upgraded a number of things since our last stay (e.g. grill, tv, microwave), so it was even better than our first stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Lovely stay on the beach
We really enjoyed staying in this house - there was lots of room, and it was nice to have an area for the kids to play downstairs that was a little removed from the kitchen/main living room. The location right on the beach was ideal, especially when trying to catch sun breaks in between spring showers!

Nice house, centrally located in Rockaway
Nice vacation house, stayed over the Christmas holiday. Great views and excellent access to the beach. Hot tub is a nice amenity.

Great Place on the beach!
We choose a stormy weekend but the place was very comfortable and clean. Great views and close access to beach and the town. Would highly recommend. The only deception is from the picture it looks like it’s off beaten path but it’s one block off hwy 101. Did not matter could not hear the road at all.

The instructions ask that you wash/dry all your towels the night before departure and wash/dry all the sheets the day of of departure. Our family prefers morning showers so this posed a problem for checkout. I have never been asked to launder all our linens at any other property. For a cleaning fee of almost $200 I would expect more.

Hot tub
House was overall very nice. But I did book that particular property because it had a hot tub. Was really disappointed when I got there to find the hot tub needed repairs and would not be able to enjoy it.
