It was nice to have two bathrooms, a washing machine, a dishwasher and other creature comforts. Proximity to a supermarket, coffee shop, hospital and restaurants is excellent.
The parking space doesn't really exist. We had to park 500 m up the road on a few occasions as the other neighbours use all of those bays. Not ideal if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues. We're also aware that we needed to bring everything, however toilet paper is typically included and the lack of was a bit tricky when you arrive at night.

Great position. More spacious than expected. Lovely cottage

Lots of space and having two bathrooms was good even though there were only 2 of us. Parking ok, large van parked very close to allocated space made of difficult to get out.
The garden was a massive disappointment as the weather was great. As the garden was so unkempt and the furniture so scruffy we didn’t feel comfortable to sit outside. For the price I was very dissatisfied. The cottage could have been a lot cleaner too. Just felt a bit dusty and not very fresh! Very busy road too which wasn’t very peaceful. I wouldn’t choose to stay in Chipping Norton again because of the traffic.

Loved the house with plenty of room for the whole family (6 people). The shower room on the third floor was a bit small but overall we found the house very cosy and comfortable. Our host Max was very responsive and generous in providing cake and milk and other necessities on our arrival. Check in and check out were effortless. My six year old niece loved exploring all the floors and corners of the house, a proper English cottage in the Cotswolds. So conveniently located near M&S Foodhall and Aldi as well. We recommend and would love to stay here whenever visiting Chipping Norton!
The parking spot in front is a bit of a squeeze, especially when we are the last among our neighbours to arrive! There is also only one allocated parking spot for the house so be prepared to park a second car up the road - not too far of a walk though.

Spacious house with comfortable beds. Nice garden. Good location for traveling to other places. Nice pubs and shops in Chipping Norton.
We had a family holiday and enjoyed the place.
Very busy road outside.
Inside, lots of small things were broken. Lights in upstairs bathroom, cupboard doors coming off. So some general maintenance needed.

There were quite a few things which were broken or didn’t work- lightbulbs, extractor fan hood, and a lot of mould in the bottom of the bin. There was also someone else’s rubbish in the bin when we arrived.

washing machine was broken and a pain. we contacted the people who manage the property and got no response , tried 3 times. we had a wedding to attend and needed clothes cleaned so it was disappointing not to get any feedback or assistance at all.
